I have heard that Dimes was a good meat market, at least under last ownership. However, I had an interesting encounter when I went in on Thursday, Dec 21, 2023. I need Turkey Italian Sausage for an Italian soup recipe. When I went in, the guy at the meat counter told me that they didn't have any. I get that, but are they just out or never carry it. So, I asked if they ever have any. After telling no, they don't, the guy replied as follows: "I only make what I would eat and I would never eat that. I don't know why anyone would want that." Did he just 'put me in my place'? Which I asked a lady standing behind me, who replied, 'yes, what was that?' So, never a customer of Dimes in the past, it is safe to say I will never will be one. The store was clean, but with small offering of cuts of meat. So with limited space, if they just didn't carry Turkey Italian Sausage, that's fine . . . I understand that. But I might have come back for something else, if this didn't happen. read more

The store is spotless. The meat displays are excellent. The service is amazing every time. This place is the place to go to if quality is what you're looking for. The price range is what you should expect when buying excellent cuts of meat, if you want cheap there's a Walmart less than a mile west. read more
