My sisters and I had our eye on this place near our hotel since before we even got to Berlin so I'm…read moreglad we were able to make it happen before we leave for Munich tomorrow. The atmosphere is a lot more vibey and modern than I thought it would be, with low lighting, fake brick, and tables and chairs in the back to sit in. I honestly love a boba cafe moment, but I'm not sure how much work could be done here-- it's probably just a nice place to get together with a friend, sit down, and have some tea. I wasn't really sure what I was in the mood for so I just decided to go for the first one on their favorites which just so happened to be the Oreo Bomb with the cream cheese on top (I think it roughly translates to cheese foam or milk foam). I don't usually go for the oreo, but I liked it! It's a milk tea with oreo pieces, and I added boba to it. I adjusted the sugar to less, but I probably would go for none if I were you, especially with the addition of the oreo adding to the sweetness. When you mix the cream topping in, it gets slightly thicker so it's almost like an oreo milkshake but not quite. You definitely get the tea flavor and it was overall delicious. The boba was slightly on the softer side and really really chewy. I found that you get that jaw workout in because you chew so much. But! The coldness of the tea made the boba firm up a bit after a little while and then the texture was actually perfect. The boba didn't have any sweetness in it, but my tea was already sweet so they complemented each other nicely. The matcha had a deep flavor to it, and the tropical fruit tea was refreshing. The taro was definitely made of powder and the person working the counter told us that there were taro cubes inside? But we couldn't really find them. Overall, though, very solid! (And very much appreciated the english translations on the menu)

Found this bubble tea shop on google maps--I'm glad I did, so I can get my fix! I've been here…read moretwice, so these observations/opinions aren't just based on a quick trip. The atmosphere is very chill and calming: black walls, nice lighting, some fake brick wallpaper and music that usually stays in the pop range. There's a good amount of seating, and they have a unisex bathroom in the back. I enjoyed my taro milk tea with tapioca. Compared to the (many) other tea shops I've been to, their tapioca has been more firm and chewier than normal, and the milk tea has been gritty. My friend's fruit tea (sweet peach green tea) was delicious as well, but had the same issue with the tapioca. The flavor was delicious, if a bit sweet for no sugar added. The staff were nice and didn't mind my slower German. I really love how they have reusable cups (hard plastic with removable lids) and they encourage you to use environmentally friendly options for cups and straws. They don't, however, offer a discount if you use your own straw, like my home tea shop. They offer loyalty cards at the pick up counter, and free WiFi as well. They don't accept cards, only cash. Overall, a cute little store that opened recently. Very nice people!

Great, big space around Hackescher Markt in Berlin that you can just spend some time catching up…read morefor some tea/snacks with people. The space is relatively big, so you will most likely find a place to sit there. I also liked that they had a variety of tea selection (and toppings) --albeit most of the tea selection are more boba tea like (e.g. Taiwanese style tea). I love boba tea anyways...so this place was a good place for me to hang out while waiting for my next event. Oh, try out the vegetarian sausage, too! It sounds like an oxymoron but the vegetarian sausage actually tasted good...much better than what I was expecting it to taste like even! Note though that the menu for food/snacks are on a very limited selection and the restroom access cost 0.50, which I thought were a bit disappointing.

This is a nice little boba shop in a convenient area. They didn't sell just a normal brown sugar boba, I had to order a black tea with brown sugar and milk. I body was odd but I was ok with it (as the other brown sugar boba had cream cheese in it and I wasn't interested in that at all). But truthfully I didn't like the team that much. It was very strong on the black tea and it drowned out the brown sugar. It was alright but I probably wouldn't go again. For my partner though he really enjoyed it so he drank the rest of it. So if you like string black tea in your boba then I think you'd like it.
