Dr. Michael Kowalski, AP changed my life!…read more Approximately two years ago I contacted Dr. Kowalski about having him use acupuncture as means of dealing with my seasonal allergies. I had had some success with acupuncture in the past, but the effects would diminish overtime. When I went to see Dr. Kowalski, he suggested rather than acupuncture that I have a blood test to determine if I had any food allergies. Although I had been to a couple of allergists in the past, I didn't recall either of them recommending/suggesting a blood test; so I said, "why not" what did I have to lose. Much of the year I dreaded going outside due to ragweed, oak pollen, juniper, etc. When the test results came back, Dr. Kowalski suggested that my allergy problem was probably due to certain foods, rather than the outdoor menaces mentioned earlier and suggested I revise my diet accordingly. Six months later my allergy symptoms had dissipated dramatically; one year later I no longer suffered from seasonal allergies and could go outside without fear, whenever I wanted. Two years later, this remains the case. Wow! I can't thank Dr. Kowalski enough for his knowledgeable insight into my condition, and being able to get to the root of my issue quickly and effectively. I wholeheartedly endorse him.

I had whiplash from an auto accident and could barely turn my head left or right and had headaches and a sharp pain. After a couple of months of treatments and adjustments my headaches are gone and have 95% range of motion back in my neck. I've had back problems off and on for years but the worst I ever had was a couple of months ago when I bent down and heard a loud pop-crack at the base of my spine! After 5 days my lower back pain was extreme and could barely get off of the floor to get to their office. On a scale of 1-10 ten being the worst pain it was a 10. It is now a 4 and we're working on getting it down to a 2 or less. Getting a firm mattress is extremely important and being under Dr. Schertell's care I was given a prescription to give to Rooms-To-Go who sold me the mattress that had a discount of no taxes! This was a substantial savings and the firm bed is helping my back a lot. I was shown some stretching exercises to do that are helpful and am getting treatments and adjustments weekly to help my quality of life. Also, a few years ago a couple of times the doctors got my lower back to pop back in place and guess what? No pain! After my adjustments I like to lie down on the Docs table that has a roller in the middle of the cushioned table and it goes up and down my spine. This helps a lot! Chiropractic works! Have you ever cracked your knuckles? That is all it is however the doctors know where and how to do it after your first visit when you pinpoint where the pain is and how intense it is. I have a chronic knee injury and the acupuncture treatments relieve the pain stiffness almost immediately. I also had some digestive issues which the acupuncture helped with as well. If you haven't tried acupuncture then you should! Dr. Keith Schertell is very personal and knows what he's doing. Melissa is a fantastic massage therapist and is truly gifted. The four star rating is due to a lack of technology in the front office. They need to use electronically records for their patients instead of filling out paperwork.

My biggest thanks goes to Robin for helping me with my milk production after the birth of my second child. I had low milk production in 1 breast and almost 0 production in the 2nd breast with my first child. I started to experience the same thing with my 2nd child and knew immediately to turn to Robin. Robin helped amp up my supply and greatly increase my production where I was able to solely breastfeed my 2nd child during the time I wanted to continue breastfeeding. I have curvature in my spine and a desk job, which has the unfortunate result of messing with the spot where one of my ribs connects to my spine. When it's out of place, and my muscles spasm to compensate, it can hurt to breathe. I have been able to get in to Dr Railing same day when I've needed it, and he takes a really pragmatic approach. I've never had him suggest dozens of visits as other chiropractors have, which is great because it's hard to make time for every one I do really need. The office staff are kind, too.
