Suffice it to say that the insurance filing issue under Talton Chiropractic was first addressed by Twin Waves' insurance person by calling the insurance carrier for a thorough explanation of the chiropractic benefits under the plan and which co-pay (there are two) is applicable under which procedure codes. Until that was clarified, we were not charge a co-pay. Now that the proper codes are being used, the co-pay dropped to the lower amount. Dr. Puyau's staff, Mary and Tasha, have outstanding interpersonal skills and are a delight. Both are very competent and knowledgeable and make the administrative necessities easy to handle. Their team is the sweetest and always very understanding. Even during times where my family couldn't afford the care they were willing to work with us. My journey started when I was a sophomore in high school and my back would burn all day from sitting at a desk. I also had a previous hip injury from volleyball, which was also causing issues. Following their plan, I visited twice a week, to weekly, to every two weeks, to monthly. I healed very fast with their care. At first, I was with Dr. Vin and then I was switched with Dr. B who was able to adjust my neck in a way that most chiropractors cannot. It is truly a God given gift and I am so blessed that she is able to work with my body the way that she is. However, when it came to the time where I barely felt like I needed to go monthly, I got in a car accident, and everything kind of "reset" but worse. Due to insurance and working with an attorney, I went to another chiropractic office for care after the accident. This was the worst mistake I could've made. The difference between Slainte and this other office was baffling. I felt like I was just a number and something they could suck dry for money with my case. When I was being adjusted there, it felt like they didn't even remember what I was there for and what my issues were, and it felt like I was being thrown around like a ragdoll. The time I was there, I did not heal and things seemed to get worse. After my case closed, I went back to Slainte Chiropractic and quickly saw results of healing more than I would've thought after months of being at this other office. I felt at peace there and truly cared for. I was reminded how patients are supposed to be treated being at Slainte. They actually work with my body and see where my body is at before I am adjusted.
