On the wedding day, everything ran seamlessly. Because they were already familiar with our venue, Padua Hills Theatre, they knew exactly where to capture the best shots while also remaining open to our ideas and collaborating on new poses and angles. They documented every part of the day, from the quiet moments to the dance floor. J&G arrived before we did and stayed until the very end of the night to make sure nothing was missed. Just a few days after the wedding, we received some teaser photos and were absolutely blown away. Judy's editing style is stunning, and the quality of her work exceeded our expectations. After running across some of Heidi's pictures on a friend's Facebook page I found her blog and…read morebecame a fan. All of the weddings she photographed had this same great quality to them, as if you could feel the happiness/anticipation of the couples just from looking at them. I fell in love with her images, and I knew if I ever got married I would want her to be my photographer. When we contacted Heidi a little after our wedding to see if we could instead use our deposit for maternity pictures she said we would need to give her another $250 deposit. Outrageous! Nobody in their right mind would use a photographer who would not honor their client's original deposit. Don't let the family friendly / down-to-earth façade of her blog fool you....Heidi is all about bottom lines. As a self proclaimed "wife & mom", Heidi should understand that life happens and sometimes, we are not able to make time for a photo session especially in the midst of an important event...like a wedding. If you are looking for a photographer with a high level of integrity and goodwill, Heidi is not that person. There are so many other photographers who are far more talented but more importantly, honest and accommodating.
