Would not use this location or kewanee il they won't fix the damages that they did to my bike when I sent it to them. And then the owner says, you really think that we're gonna mess up your bike. We've been building bikes for a 100 years. Well, guess what Bud? I'm sorry to tell you the accidents can happen and you guys can't take blame for it and make it right? The first time I trusted them I choose foot pegs, a battery and a battery charger. They ignored my choices and installed the most expensive foot pegs, battery and charger they had. I was furious. Then I had them quote me for some work on an oil leak. I made it very clear that if the cost went above the agreed upon price they were to call me so I could decide what to do. Surprise Surprise they did not call me and charged me an extra $140.00 for unnecessary parts that were not even needed. The service manager who authorized it was conveniently not there when I wanted to speak to him. When I called them out on the bogus parts and charges they dropped the price but it shows you their intent to defraud hard working customers. Steer clear of this place ! read more

Wallet Brothers...... Overpriced, but at least had what I was searching for. They sure as hell don't like doing paperwork over there... Staff is ill informed on DMV policies. S U P E R SLOW to submit DMV paperwork (over 30 DAYS!!!) I've seen sap flow from trees faster than these people submit paperwork....I'll be lucky if my plates show up before the temp tag expires..GRRRRR If you don't come from money, they have little to no time for you. And if you do decide to purchase a ride, they will FORGET YOU within minutes of leaving with your ride. So basically in a nutshell, if you work hard for your money, shop somewhere else; this family has enough money and plenty of hoity toity customers who LOVE to just spend money frivolously. read more

Fantastic experience with Walter Brother. I went in on a Saturday to look at a new road glide. They had what I was looking for on the sales floor. The salesman spent a lot of time with me going over the features of the bike. He was awesome to deal with. The finance lady was also exceptional. She went through many different options to get me the best terms. The parts desk staff were very patient when I asked questions about different add on items. However the best of all was Tim in the service department. He spent a huge amount of time going over every feature of the bike in great detail. He showed me from shock adjustments to stereo features. He brought up replacement LED lights for the rear and front signals. He showed me on another bike just how bright and safe they are. I purchased a set and he put them on right then with no charge. He was extremely careful when handling the bike and parts. Doug in delivery was also great. He explained more features when he brought the bike home to me. I am very impressed with Walter Brothers and their staff! You will be handling all of my Harley needs in the future!!! read more

Tried to get my bike serviced. I am from out of town. They wanted way too much and told me it would be two weeks before they could fit me in. Go to Bloomington or Galesburg. This place has some strange business model that they take care of the people who bought their bikes from them first. What a joke. read more

Seems like a depressed place. Everyone is down and out. Zero customer service. I was going to order a 21" spoked wheel, tire, and pay for installation. The guy was zero help and for some odd reason he kept telling me the price over and over like I didn't know it was going to cost me $1500.00, and I mean over and over... Duh, I know it's a harley, everything is expensive. This customer service is why I went all the way to Worth Harley in KC to buy my bike, and do the 4500 in extras the day I bought it. I went to visit my Dad for Father's Day weekend and decided to rent a Harley so that we could ride together. The staff was so great and professional. Chris took care of getting us all set up with the right bike and a helmet that fit just right. He took the time to go through all of the features of the bike with us before we rode off. The dealership was closed on Sunday, but they went above and beyond and had someone meet us there to drop the bike back off before our flight! Talk about great service! On Father's Day and all! The bike rode great. This location is so close and convenient to the airport as well. We will definitely be renting from there again on our next trip to Illinois. Let me start this by saying that there are at least six HD dealerships closer to me than Walter Bros, so it would take something special for me to drive all that way. I received a flyer from them in the mail for a huge sale they were having. It included a sweepstakes where you could win a prize. I matched the numbers for the 70" tv. I called the # on the flyer & gave them my confirmation #. They said I was a winner. When my room mate came downstairs, I played it again for him. It once again said I was a winner. Then the woman on the phone asked me some questions. I went to the dealership Friday to pick up the tv. I made arrangements to use a friend's truck. When I got there, I was told that my confirmation # wasn't the right one. The salesman, Steve, didn't say sorry for the misunderstanding, inconvenience, etc. The only thing he had to say to me was " You wouldn't pick up the tv here anyway." That's it? That is the only response you have? I was pretty upset. I just walked out leaving him with the flyer. Three hour drive, half a tank of fuel, and a salesman who could care less that I just wasted my morning on a lie. I was planning on buying a couple of parts for my Wide Glide, but after my experience with that salesman, I didn't want them having any of my business. read more
