They didn't call and tell me the price had changed until the fix was done. They also called at 4:30 PM to tell me the car was ready and that if I payed by card they would add a 2.5% fee. So I had less than half an hour and no car to try to somehow get over $900 in cash or pay an extra $25. Really felt like they were trying to make a buck there. If they had told me when I called to make the appointment or two days later, when I dropped it off, I wouldn't have batted an eye. But to do it with so little time was really irritating. I also told them that I don't use my air conditioner and wasn't worried that it wasn't working when they said they found it was out of Freon. They filled it with Freon anyway and charged me $40 for it. I won't be back.

To make a long story short, I drove up to his shop with parts of my car dragging on the ground and asked for help. He got down on the ground, removed the pieces of my car that were on the ground and then proceeded to fix everything else that was loose. He made due without having the right parts. It was amazing to watch him. He fixed the car enough for me to drive it. He was even kind enough not to charge me. I'm still in shock by his kindness and competence.
