They are not too expensive either - they are such good value. We usually stock up when we go there - as we live quite a way away. Their meat is also very good and they also do a delicatessen. Their sausages are also excellent - a really high meat content and a large variety of choice. They also sell cheeses of all kinds. the shop is quite large and very clean. The staff are very friendly and chatty and very willing to help you with anything.

The pork, beek and lamb I have bought from there has all been from Wales. The mince meat I had looked low in fat. Lamb is always my favourite. If you are not a great cook, its very hard to go wrong with a pre prepared lamb kebab on the skewer with different coloured peppers. Their home made beef burgers are just 70p each. They are more than happy to give you the meaty facts if you want to go in and ask about what you are buying. Bon appetite.

The staff are clean and wear hair nets and gloves. They are really friendly and chatty nice service. They are open six days a week. They usually have special offers in the window and I usually get the offers as its nice for a change and you can freeze them and because I know the quality is really good. Would recommend having a look and buying some pork sausages from here they are really yummy and you can tell the difference from fresh ones and frozen ones.

We apologised and said we'd get some cash out and come back but the butcher insisted we take the purchases and pay next time we where in! We had never been in before and such a gesture was completely unheard of for either myself or my boyfriend. We were so shocked (in a good way) at his trustworthiness we went straight to the bank and got some cash out and paid him the same day. We have been back a number of times and the meat is exquisite, not to mention the staff wonderful.
