I have been treated here for a while now. The Dr's & Nurses arg good but you won't have any support…read morefrom staff. The staff are very rude. They speak to you in a condescending manner at the Brentwood office It's as if you are a bother. Staff is always very busy to follow up on prescription orders which can endanger your life. Mangers are the same. Please don't endanger your health by going here.

I am sure the doctors are ok but heck, the phone people and office staff can care less and were…read moretotally rude, made mistakes, too many mistakes and would not listen to me to explain and they kept telling me they cant accept my referals the way they are and i needes my PC to make both referals for them.. and i was like what? Why? So I have pulminiary referal and they scheduled me wth their cardiologist. Fyi, i also had a referal for cardiologist but was for a doctor office closer to where i lived. I was guessing they were like this because they didnt get both referals that they didnt want any so after changing my appointment day to the day the proper doctor would be in, they apparently also somewhere along the way changed the time of apppintment too but they only said the day was changed. So now, on that new morning I had alerts from my chart saying time to go to apt at 10am when appoint was scheduled for 230pm and my travel time there is over an hour. They told me i had to pay 50.00 same day cancelation fee if i still wanted to be seen in their office.. I then asked for a manager given all the rescheduling and mistakes made on their end and they told me they cant waive anything so, after a week and a half to end up like this then come here to see the other similar reviews tells me i want to be seen somewhere else so i told my Primary Care about it and they are setting up a refferal for a different provider. Beware!!

I do not recommend Dr Paz at all. Dr Paz has been my son's pediatrician since he was born up until…read morehe was 16 month old and every appointment I've had with her has been awful. When we choose her, Dr Paz didn't have any reviews but I have since seen reviews that are like mine that I want to share. Every appointment that my son and I have been to I've gone in feeling defensive and on edge because she has always made very out of pocket comments or has just been blatantly rude. She came in to our room one time I believe at his 12 month check up she opened the door, which by the way NEVER acknowledges you or her patient she keeps her head down focused on her computer and not engaging. She came in the door and the first thing she said was "it will go away when he darkens" I said "I'm sorry what?" And she repeated her self and I said "what are you talking about" and she said "his birthmark". My son has a birth mark on his forehead that he has had since birth and just about every appointment she had made some comment about it even though I've never brought it up. I will never understand why it needed to be addressed in that manner, I do have a blonde hair blue eyed white baby, so once he darkens up it'll go away that doesn't sound right? Seems odd and made me very uncomfortable and unprofessional. Another time at his 16 month appointment she asked how many worlds can he say I told her and then also added he can do sign language for 3 words and she tells me, that "doesn't count it's not a form of communication and he can't tell you what he wants" I felt every strongly that I finally gave her push back she didn't like that and we did go back and forth a little bit. So are you suggesting ASL is not a form of communication cause for a fact it is. She is completely dismissive of anything you say. She will read off her script/ computer of his development stages will not look at you she only wants yes or no answers and if you give anymore than that she will finally look up at you and then give you a look and disregard what you just said and go back k to typing. She has been his doctor for 16 months and has habitually called my son a "she" like she doesn't even know her patients. This latest issue I'm highly upset about. At all his appointments she has always noted that my son has a lot of ear wax and I've agreed and said it's pretty bad that it will ball up and I have to use a q- tip and gently get it out. She snips at me every time not to use them in his ear and I always tell her I don't that the wax is outside of his ear that how much. Fast forward we have changed doctors so my son doesn't see her anymore. I thought my son had an ear infection and the new doctor we saw said that there was so much wax that she couldn't even see if he had an ear infection! That she needed to flush his ears in order to see which I was told Dr Paz should've at least given me an option to do! Dr Paz never guided me on that being an option, my poor son. The new doctor also give us ear drops to use to loosen up the wax cause that was the issue not an infection. I am so upset that a doctor for over 16 month couldn't have informed me about ear flushing/ drops when it got brought up at every appointment. There have been plenty of other issues but I do not believe Dr Paz should be working at a pediatric office. I have started to file a complaint with her at John Muir. I will end this on a good note one of the reasons we stayed for so long is because of her AMAZING nurse Tara. Tara actually took the time to be kind and gently to my son. Tara is the one who I looked forward too at his appointment, thank you Tara for being the best nurse we could've gotten.

NOT RECOMMENDED. Rude and not professional. She's talking so fast and not addressing our concern.read more
