Dr Singer is definitely a Medical Doctor, but doesn't act like one, let me explain... 1) He actually took the time (a lot of time) to sit and talk with my husband and I and really went out of his way to make my daughter feel comfortable. 2) He is incredibly respectful of different parenting styles (which is a rare quality among humans in general), but still has a way of giving his advice and expertise without being offensive or pushy. 3) He listened to my concerns WITH eye contact and never interrupted or dismissed what I was saying. 4) He cares.. really, really cares. Dr. Holloway is also really nice, easygoing and not arrogant (the last of which might be surprising to some, as cardiology is a high-paying medical specialty). This shows a disregard for the convenience and the time of his patients/customers. It's only gotten worse since he joined Sutter, because you can no longer call his office and email takes forever. Customer service is definitely gone downhill since he joined Sutter. Lowered to 1 star due to lack of acceptance/acknowledgement of something that has been going on for years with no change.

At that time she thought she's soon to die coz every movement she makes she's having a hard time breathing . She's very frail and literally can't do anything . We went here as recommended by a friend. He wasn't at Sutter yet at that time but he took my moms insurance. First time we saw him, we got really comfortable with him. He's very nice , even if my mom doesn't speak much English he's very patient with her. Assured her once she got "fixed" she will feel 10 yrs younger. It turned out my mom has problem with her heart valve and also had atrial fibrillation . So they did surgery and yes he's right ever since her operation she can really move a lot without having difficulty if breathing . Now my mom is ok and my dad is being cared by Dr Olowoyeye with all their heart needs. I have deep respect to this doctor . He takes his time knowing your problems and talk to you about ur health. He knows all his patients and very patient with his patients . The clinic is nice and clean . All his staff are very competent and do their job well compared to other doctors offices . Then, about three weeks before the visit, I fell and fractured three ribs--the 7th, 8th, and 9th on my left side. I called to reschedule, and my appointment was pushed back another 2 1/2 months or so. In the meantime, I fell again and broke my 3rd rib on the right side. I am 80 years old, and all of this has been causing me tremendous stress and pain. Now, my appointment with Dr. Rohra is just two weeks away. I was getting my information together and planning to bring it with me, since this would be our first meeting. Then someone from his office called and asked if I planned to attend. I told her yes. But instead of moving on, she began lecturing me--saying that I had canceled the last time, that there were many people on the waiting list, and so on. I received a long scolding simply for having rescheduled my previous appointment. After hanging up, I found myself wondering what that was all about. Then I thought: why am I being spoken to like a child for rescheduling? It wasn't last minute. The appointment was still weeks away. The more I thought about it, the less I liked it. So I decided to cancel altogether. If that's the kind of staff Dr. Rohra puts in charge, I don't want to see him at all. I am a patient, not a beggar. I don't need to be treated like that. I haven't even met the doctor yet. I am too old to be insulted in this way. This is very poor manners. Why is that woman working in a doctor's office?

The experience in the office for his appointments has been terrible after speaking with the management, who has 25 years of experience, began getting upset and unprofessional, especially in times where our family is very vulnerable with no compassion. I was just trying to inquire about being seen faster since his surgery was a little over a month from today with 2 long incisions. His pain is untolerable to the point where he starts throwing up. I asked if there was a way to talk to Dr. Morrissey, to express my concerns, she laughed, stating it was a stupid question. If he has to wait 1 hour or 3, there is no special treatment. I was not looking for a special treat but a better way to see how we can sped up his visit to be seen, since he is in pain constantly. After talking to St. Joseph and Dameron Hospital they could not help due to the appointments being outside their facility, they referred me to the medical board. Be mindful and present to ensure your loved one gets the proper level of care. The manager with 25 years of experience mentioned there is nothing that can be done, which is incorrect.
