I like to shop around for things like this and I'm probably a nightmare of a patient as I want to know everything and question anything if I'm not sure or happy. I always feel listened to and involved in any treatment I've had. When the GP's look information up, they show me what they've found and I feel confident that they're giving the best advice they can. As a mum I have been vey happy with the help I've received from them. We've turned up quite a few times with various worries and hey have always made us feel at our ease and never made us feel silly for bringing our children along. They are also brilliant at phoning you back. Sometimes I don't want an appointment but am just looking for advice and if you phone and ask for a GP to contact you, they will. They spend time with you on the phone and are very thorough. From talking to other parents, I think we have a very good surgery and I would recommend.

Have never had a problem getting an appointment - they offer a triage service between 8-9.30am, if you call, you get called back by a GP who assesses you and makes an appointment accordingly. Non-urgent appointments can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. All doctors offer high standard of care, especially Dr George, who has seen my children a few times and is always very patient. Midwife is wonderful. Building is new and clean, as are the consultation rooms. Run training courses and health promotion courses from time to time. Only downside is car park is far too small.

I have to devote a lot of time if I want to go from one end to the other, not that it's that far, but simply because people always want to stop and pass the time of day in a friendly manner. There is nothing like black country warmth! I'm really proud of the healthcare services that the hospital provides the local people. There are millions of people who are being treated in Hospitals across the world and I know exactly how they feel. I have had an operation at Sandwell General Hospital and the staff at the Hospital looked after me very well. I did find it difficult to sleep and the bed at times was uncomfortable. The Hospital food was not brilliant either but then again we have heard many people complain about the food at Hospitals. I can only speak about the way I was treated and those who did look after me did a great job. They regularly checked up on me to seek if I was OK and asked if I wanted anything. Staff at the Hospital were first-class and I have nothing but praise for the job they did.

Dementia is a terrible condition; it eats away at the victim and is irreversible, chronic and debilitating. The condition also affects the family of the sufferers; it is like a long goodbye as the facets of the sufferers personality depletes by the day. The staff at The Highbury nursing home take very good care of my Gran; they treat her with respect and dignity and try to help her remember her life from back when she was a young adult. My Gran is 93 and the nurses are amazed at her resistance to frailty and disease. We all know that she isn't going to get better. She has had a good innings and The Highbury Nursing home is probably where she will spend her last days. I personally couldn't think of a better place for her to be. The Highbury Nursing home offers her all the help she needs and she is happy to stay there.

my old doctor he was. this surgery has 5 doctors and a…read morenurse. the staff are very helpful and will do there best to help solve any problems. me i went in 10 yrs ago and said i was not that well, 1 hr later i was in hospital for diabetes i stayed for 5 nights as i did not realize how bad i was. as i was on the heart ward. luck to be here and very grateful to Dr clegg for his help. its based on Burton road next to the cricket pitch there is a car park but it can get quiet full and people park on the grass verge in front of the cricket pitch. as woodville is getting bigger places are getting tight as they are now only taking patients from woodville only now.

I moved here from Probert Road Health Centre…read more Thank god I did. Probert Road was a nightmare compared to here. My GP at Probert Road never seemed to help me, explain anything or answer any of my questions properly. Everything was solved by coming back in 2 weeks. Everything. My GP - and all the stand-in GPs I've had at Lower Green have been great. They answer my questions promptly, diagnose me and explain what's going on clearly. They have then prescribed appropriate medication and advice on exactly how to deal with any condition I've had. Waiting room is relaxed with audio and visual cues. Rooms are well labelled. There's two receptionists serving and there's also a self-check in computer so a lot of people don't even have to go to the desk to check in to an appointment. There's also a pharmacy basically in the waiting room. Bonus! Sufficient parking.
