This School does NOT behave in a Christian manor. I am absolutely disgusted at their behavior and…read morehow they blatantly break rules. I am a family member of someone who was asked to take in an emergency exchange student because MEI kicked him out of his housing and the school before he even started. MEI was clearly told by the exchange agency that students are NOT allowed in basements. MEI disregarded the rule and stuck the students in basements anyway. When they were approached about it, MEI told the agency to butt out (The agency is responsible for the well being of these children) and they would re home the child. Again, another child was put in a basement and when confronted about it, the host home told the child to pack their bags and leave. Does that sound like Christian to you??? The agency stepped in and found an emergency home for the night. When MEI discovered that the child was not in an "MEI" home, the child was kicked out of school (before even starting) Does that sound like Christian to you??? What type of Christian school, treats children like this. These children are far from their families and homes and are treated like dogs by the school and the "christian" host families. My sister, was the emergency home for this young boy. We are a Christian family who are disgusted at this behavior. I urge you NOT to use the school for anything, as they certainly have NO morals, do not walk out their faith and believe that they do not have to follow any rules. This school and the host families are only after the money that these children bring in, NOT about caring for them or showing Christ. MEI, you are a disgusting excuse for a Christian.
