We've all been there,…read morewe've all stood in a long line with slow cashiers and we have all walked a hundred miles in this store just to get milk. We have also all marveled at the human species while in this ginormous store. We've been there, done that. The game changer for me, though, was the order pickup tower that was recently installed. WOW-WE! Before the tower when you ordered something online for store pickup, you had certain hurdles you had to jump over to get your item. You had to scan in, wait for someone to acknowledge you, show you ID, wait while they searched through lockers to find your item and then you were good to go. With the tower, you scan in the barcode that has been emailed to you. Your product is rotated around and then scooped into a bin and the bin releases into an opening in the tower. You simply retrieve your item and *POOF* off you go. It took me under two minutes to get my item. Seriously, it was that fast. It was fun watching the item being retrieved, too. The best part about this new service is you do not have to wait for someone to wait on you. You don't have to wait for fumbling clerks to find a locker key, rummage through other items to retrieve your product. It is quite an incredible system. I actually might order more things just so I can use it again. LOL. At this point in time, there are only 150 of these towers in operation throughout the United States. I am just grateful there is one in Lawrence. I am one of those techy geek people and WalMart just knocked it out of the park!

Stores were pretty much limited to VF Outlet, Kitchen Collections, Rue 21, Famous Footwear, Dress Barn, L'eggs/Hanes/Bali/Playtex, and G.H. Bass and Co with the remaining storefronts either sitting empty or taking on a beauty shop, and school of cosmetology. I did managed to stop in to G.H. Bass and the VF Outlet and discovered they offered a decent selection with reasonable prices, however I didn't see anything at either stores and left empty handed. Not sure I can really recommend this as a stop, unless you lived in the area I would pass this on by if you are driving down I-55.

I got an oil change at the oil and tire center. Afterwards I noticed my car was ticking. He pulled the stick out and asked me when did I get my oil change and I told him about three weeks earlier. He looked at the stick wiped it off and reinserted it and looked again in shock. The stick showed there was a whole quart and a half of EXTRA oil in my car. He immediately told me to take my car back to Walmart and have them drain the excess out!! I took it back and they did drain it out. They never apologized or anything. Just said your car is ready. It was check as soon as I got home to see if the oil was where it was suppose to be!! I will never go back again. I'm telling everyone to please check your cars after getting oil changed at Walmart. This was at the Covington, Tennessee store!!! Things I don't like about this store are the store management and the store manager. I'm a former…read morePremium Wireless Pro employee, a third-party company for Walmart Wireless, and there are a lot of issues with this store. The issue about the store management, which are team lead, AP coaches, and store manager, is that when I call them on the intercoms, they never show up. I'm trying to get them to the department, where I'm at, for something I can't do or a customer wants to file a complaint, it's mostly complaints. Another problem is that most of the AP coaches don't even like 80% of their employees, which is wrong. One of the employees, not going to tell their name, got in trouble for not catching a thief stealing something, now the AP doesn't like that employee; one problem is that the store does NOT have any security guards at all, and even calling for AP, they wouldn't show up. Another problem is that only the police officers can ban a customer off the property. That makes no sense, how are you AP when you have the power to ban someone off the property? Can you just grab the customer and send them to the AP office and show the video evidence to the customer on why they're not allowed to come to the store again? The worst part is that the police officers are not the managers at Walmart, all they do in Walmart is send the customer to the AP office before charging them. It's stressful how 13 objects get stolen every week. The store manager is the main problem of this store. This store does not have enough employees, like there are not enough employees in Electronics, Automotive, Sporting Goods, and Checkouts. The main problem is Electronics; why is there 1 employee doing the morning shift and knowing that they got to take a 1-hour lunch break and giving the electronic keys to another associate who has no experience in electronics? It would be simple and easy to have one employee do the 5 or 6 AM shift and another employee do the 11 AM shift; guess what, It has to be the wireless associate to does all the work without the keys because the AP wouldn't do it; however, I always help the employees with no electronic experiment because I watch every move that the electronic associate does. In electronics, Premium employees are not allowed to have the electronic keys because of the previous Premium Wireless employees that had stolen something 3 years ago. What stupid is that why did the store manager say "Do you have the keys" when you knew that I was not allowed to have the electronic keys? TLDR: This is the worst store you can shop and work at, find a different store that is better than Forrest City
