Set them on the counter and after a few minutes they realize theres a customer and one walks over. Asks me what im shipping. I told him a test set. He stated it probably has batteries we aren't shipping that. Seemed he didnt want to work. Told him no batteries. He asked whats it worth, i assumed for insurance, i said $5k. He said "nope cant ship it" i showed him 6 labels including the one where it was shipped to me. At this point i was frustrated and was starting to believe the incompetence was malice. I called my warehouse and got permission to ship without insurance. Asked for a mgr. He came to the desk i told him i didnt need insurance and the value was $1. He said "no we arent shipping it because you said $5k first" then sarcastically grinned at me and said..."have a blessed day" i responded with "shut up" -not a proud moment but he caused me an extra 40 minutes of driving and i was catching a plane. Jerry Raby, store manager, looked for a cable for me and couldn't find one. Once I told him that I was here (from Texas) for a reunion and had old family photographs to scan from various relatives, he looked again and found a cable that would work with my scanner. I was so relived! Thanks for going the extra mile, Jerry!

I didn't recognize any one today. I didn't see any handicap Employee's. The ones there now aren't very respectful of customers. I had to push a oversized 2 drawer metal filling cabinet out, too heavy for me to lift. Not one Employee offered to help, even after I paid. I was in line behind 2 full carts only registere open so I thought. After being in line for a while, witch I was ok with until I saw people who I thought were customers standing around up front. Then several people were coming to the front with merchandise. Well my mistaken identity of customers were actually store employees. The manager came to one of the other checkouts. She and the employee argued about how to ring up a large purchase of books. Anyway I'm ready to put my purchases up on the counter. An employee calls over to me to see if he can check me out. I replied maybe before I stood in line so long, and no thank you. I asked the manager did they stop letting customers know when a register was open. I said it was always nice. I wanted to say, especially if you can't tell employees from customers, I didn't. The manager just said oh well, as she lifted one shoulder and walked away. Didn't even care to kindly answer a question. I'm not looking to get anyone terminated, just need to see respectful employees. You know I could've been injured getting that heavy cabinet. I went against my better judgement and now today I'm getting a crash course in using box dye and trying to fix stuff because oh my gosh! I came out of there looking like an n-sync band member with my highlights. Oh and my hair definitely fried. I had virgin hair, I don't do that kind of stuff, so a warning of like hey your hair is going to be fried would have been great. And the highlights don't even go to my roots so I have very distinct light and dark all over my head, looking like it's been a while since my last dye job cause she didn't get the stuff close to my roots.

Anyway, I finally got through the check out. The bonus? Unlike many other customers, they didn't ask me my phone number.
