I appreciate the convenience of the store which includes a pharmacy and a gas station as well as a full Walmart with groceries and home items and personal items and everything else. The scan as you go, option is fantastic and allows me to go and shop without having to use my wallet when I'm at the store because it's all in the app, including my payment method. Just got ripped off royal at Walmart in Van Buren. bought an hp ink cartridge 62xl. anyone one who shops walmart knows how hard it is to know how much an item is by the way they tag it. that is so you can end up buying something for more than you would normally pay for it. a 62 black cartridge is 25.00 a 62 xl is 65.00. I thought that must be for color because it is so much more money. I did not see at check out they had charged me 65.00. had to drive all the way back to find out that yes they actually charge 40.00 more for XL. yes it is more ink but 40.00 more? We think not! I will never buy anything else from Walmart except groceries because I am stuck with that in a rural area. I told them Amazon is where I will get my ink cartridges from now on. just to add insult to injury, Amazon has the 62XL on special for 38.00!! Y'all be careful buying meat from Walmart in Van Buren. I just bought some chicken and cube steak and cube steak taste freezer burnt so I threw it out opened up a package of chicken and the chicken was freezer burnt. I won't buy meat from Walmart anymore. read more

Came on a camping trip to Arkansas, only visiting this Wal Mart and outside gas pumps. Tested negative before coming for Covid-19, today tested positive for Covid-19 after visiting this Wal Mart. Since I have been completely isolated in the mountains. I am now stuck in the mountains, with no family or a doctor for 30 miles and POSITIVE FOR COVID-19. I am writing this review because, very few shoppers were masked and Wal Mart requires no mask mandate. Sure the employees mask up, but what is the point if all of these ppl coming to the store can still get them sick? Wal Mart once again, not caring for their employees. As a matter of fact, upon entering the store we got to witness a woman with her arms crossed telling her acquaintance she ran into that she was "proud to be unmasked and unvaccinated", as the security guy stood by. (I mean what could he do if Wal mart doesn't regulate masks?) Anyway, visit here only if you want to be ill and extremely inconvenienced. Wear your masks you selfish patrons. read more

I was visiting my grandparents in Van Buren and this was pretty simple to get to but kinda hard to get out of when getting off the road. Kinda confusing, unless you know what you are doing. I was trying to help my parents by a TV here and the electronics staff really didn't care at all. They were not interested in selling us the TV. I need additional information on the TV since the displays were not correct. I couldn't see the features about the TV or anything. I asked for more information and they just told me the screen size. I asked if they had any in and they just said I don't know. The one redeeming quality is parking was super easy at this place. Back at my walmart in Texas, the parking is not nearly as easy. Gas Prices were the same price as in town, which I am use to Murphy USA (walmart gas) to always be cheaper. read more

I shop this store often as it is quite near me. The associates are wonderful, fun, helpful and generally very knowledgeable. Having worked in retail myself, Penny's, Sears and Dillard's, I do know how difficult it is to be well versed in all products but they darn sure try. Van Buren Wal-Mart has the best management staff! Although this is your typical SuperCenter, the employees are friendly and helpful. And? If you lose your phone in the bathroom, and another customer turns it in, they will lock it up tight until you come claim it. Spot on! read more

I purchased tires from this store a year ago. I picked up a nail and went back to Walmart to have my tire plugged. They refused to do it even though I had the Road Hazard Warranty. They said the wear was 1/32 of an inch too much and I had to buy a new tire just to get home. Walmart has become so focused on the corporate life that they forget we are people, not corporations. All they had to do was plug my tire and I would have been happy. Now my family boycotts all Walmart stores. read more
