This is basically my go to Walmart. Well it's probably in my top three. The Walmart here, in Conyers and Fayetteville. The customer service is nothing to rave about but they're usually stocked with everything I'm looking for at the time. This Walmart in particular has been having some really fresh produce lately. I usually never shop for produce or fruit here but we just got two big batches of strawberries . Also, I found this out tonight, pretty sure it's nothing new but it's new to meeeee soooooo, if you ever forget your card or leave it in the car, just hold your camera up to the self check out screen. It'll take you to the app and you can pay for your groceries there. As you already know, they STILL don't have Apple Pay so that's the next best thing. read more

I would love to give a -1. The customer service at this location is the worst! I stood at the deli counter, and the lady literally walked from behind and started stacking product. She saw me standing there and blatantly ignored me!! There was a manager about 3 feet from me that ignored me as well. She was too busy flirting with some man about some chicken salad. I never received service. I skipped it and went to the self-service line to pay for my items and didn't realize the lady there was trying to summon my attention. I asked her why didn't she say something, and she replied, "I don't speak to people, I wave." Not the response I expected from an older woman, let alone an employee. A man attempted to get her attention, and she ignored him and walked away. She was not only rude but ignorant. Employees are supposed to have customer service experience and the skill to interact with the general public. Epic fail. read more

I use to work for Walmart. Back when Sam Walton was still alive it was mostly American made products but now it has gone down hill. To be fair I rater shop at other stores. I will not go there because I honest know they don't put customers first. I can't blame the staff. Its the management that needs refocus. read more

I don't usually shop at Walmart, however I was coming from dinner in Stockbridge and this made a reasonable quick stop on my way home. I did a little extra shopping that I normally wouldn't do, bought groceries and picked up a couple of things on clearance. The few things on clearance were the problem. The clearance prices rang up differently, in fact several dollars more than the clearance price. When I notified the floor person at the self scan area she said "So you don't want it?" I said "I don't want it for more than the price listed." so she deleted it at the register and walked away with it. I was so annoyed and tired I didn't wanna wait in line at customer service I check out and left. I would have brought those items to the register if I didn't want to purchase them! read more

What is wrong here! The shelves were very disheveled. Lately this location is always a hot mess. There were no shopping carts inside and only 3 registers open. The self checks were open but they are always backed up with people who either don't know how to use them or price difficulties. Can Walmart not get employees? Will consider visiting a different location for my next shopping trip. read more

I am telling you Walmart here in Stockbridge Ga needs to get it together they have 30 plus customers in line waiting on one yes one cashier and it not just today it's like it's every night. Just came out of this Walmart. Went in for one item. I am older and don't walk well. There was only one cart left and it wouldn't turn hardly at all. I had no choice I used it but then had to leave it partway through the pharmacy. When I went to check out there were three lines checking people out. All extremely long. So I went to the self-serve and that line was halfway back through the store. I finally asked an employee and she said maybe the people upfront could help me. I stood there almost ready to pass out and finally got to her and was able to check out. I will never walk in this store again! Wish I could give them a zero rating... read more

What can I say Wally? We always have a good time when we get together....this Wally must be a super popular place because when I was here every Biddy and Dot was here buying up the store. They had everything I needed from Iams cat food to 75 watts light bulb for my garage. So I left happy camper. I used the self checkout because it was easier and besides I had enough people interaction for the day. Thank you very much. No complaints here...Thanks Wally. The money services area has stupid policies. Somebody sent me money so they have to show ID and when I pick it up I have to show ID but I can't pick it up until The person that sent it makes a phone call to verify they sent me the money. I went to the paint department to get paint and no one was there. I then approached a very very very rude Dept Manger with red hair named Jamie . She was very nasty and had no customer service . She also told me someone would be coming in a bad way. No one came and I went back to her and she ignored me. I then talk to a wonderful lady named Paula , she stop what she was doing to help me and took her time. Good job Paula thank you made the whole trip better!!!!! P.s The manger treat the worker like shit and the department manger treat customers like crab . Sad read more

I am overdue on this review because of projects that I am working on at home but this must be said. I went to Walmart to pick up a couple of cans of exterior paint. I was meet in the paint section by a very courteous young lady by the name of Kayla. Kayla's customer service skills are great and her knowledge of the products were exceptional. She was able to answer all my painting questions. This location needs more employees like Kayla. read more

This is the absolute worst Walmart I've been into. If you can get past the ghetto music blaring in the parking lot, you'll then be greeted with unkept shelves for a start. And on my last and final visit, they only had two checkout lines open. It took me 35 MINUTES to get through. By the time I finally got out to the parking lot, the ice cream I had gotten had already started to melt. I came very close to leaving the buggy full of stuff right in the middle of an aisle and walked out. Pathetic management. read more

Never have what I need. They are never stocked. Associates are always too busy on their phones to help. They love to tell you that's not their department I parked in the handicap on the grocery side. without warning, they closed the doors before 9pm would not allow me access to my car. I had to walk all the way to the other end and back around. This defeated the purpose of being in a handicapped spot. Asked a manager to open the door and they would not. Today I called in for Cool Care I was greeted by MS JOYCE (sounded like an older lady) on the phone and I was told she didn't know and placed me on hold. Now I figured she was sending someone to check to see if they had the product before I rode over to the Walmart and waste time. I then sat on hold for five minute for her to tell me to cal back later to ask if they had the product. Now why would I call back later if I'm asking now for the next person to tell me to call back. Terrible customer service. At any point she or someone else could have looked just to see if they did. Very disappointed at this location I always shop here. read more

This Walmart has gone downhill in the last 15 years, probably because of who they have hired to run the store. I have shopped at Walmart in Stockbridge since the first store opened where Big Lots is now. That was probably mid 80s. So I have a lot of experience to be able to post information about this store. The last 2-3 years has seen an increased inability to keep things stocked in the store. When I ask for help from an associate, more often than not they do not know and are not willing to take the time to help me. When they do help, it is often with an attitude that you're not worth my time. A couple of days ago the store posted a sign in front saying face coverings are required for customers and associates. This is the second time I have been in the store since that sign was posted, and I was prepared and had my mask on today. I realize they are not enforcing it yet, since about 25% of the people in the store were not wearing masks. Today (Friday, June 19, 2020) I went in for some groceries and a few other things. At one point, I stopped and asked a young woman stocking things if she knew where they had masks. She looked on her handheld device and then said she didn't know. She didn't offer to help me find them. On the way out of the store after shopping, I noticed two people standing at the stand where they try to keep people from entering at the exit. One had a mask on, and they other didn't. They both had yellow vests. I went out, planning on going on to my car, and then I decided to get some proof of the store not requiring face covering by its employees. I went in the exit a couple of feet, far enough to get a good picture. I took pictures of the two employees. I then went outside and took a picture of the sign about face coverings. I noticed a yellow-vested associate watching me as I took the picture of the sign. My concern is that Walmart doesn't enforce their rules consistently. I understand them not enforcing a new rule for a few days. It seems like certain people are allowed to break the rules with no penalty. That has been true recently of society in general. If I am to be required to follow that rule, I would like to think employees should also be required. I shop in this Walmart 4-5 days a week, so I am in the store almost as often as employees. I would like to see this downhill slide reversed, but I don't have that confidence in the current management to effect that change or improvement. read more

It's just like every other Walmart. Plenty of customers, long checkout lines, merchandise misplaced, etc. However, I'm come to accept the headaches of the aforementioned issues in exchange for low prices. Setup is the same as most other Walmarts with a full grocery, meat, bakery, and deli departments. The deli area is awkwardly located towards the rear of the store (I've always seen the deli in the front near the entrance). The aisles are wide and spacious unlike many other Walmarts. The first time I ordered groceries from this Walmart, they arrived two hours late. The last time I ordered groceries from them, they did not deliver it the same day. I attempted to contact them via phone. The line would ring for between three and five minutes, then they would end the call. I tried to call them more than a dozen times, and this is how each one ended. They don't care about the customer at all. Wish I could give zero stars. There are several other Walmarts in the area; pick any of them instead. read more

If I could give this store 1/2 star....I would. This store is in serious need of a makeover. This store is old, it smells, it's not stocked well, the parking lot is filthy, and it's not enough staff. Management really need to do better with this store. Avoid this store and go to the one in Ellenwood or Hudson Bridge Rd. read more

I live near this walmart unfortunately, so I'm in here somewhat often for odds and ends and pharmacy. I realize this is walmart not nordstrom but I hate going in this store. The customer service from all departments is abysmal: slow, unfriendly, unhelpful, silly policies...just plain bad. I've been in here more than 20 times and not once have I had a good experience. A few things that stand out: -not enough cashiers... There is ALWAYS a wait to check out. I was recently in late in the evening and they had only 1 register open with about a dozen people in line yet 7 or so associates in eye sight stocking shelves....does that make sense?!! - pharmacy takes their dear sweet time. I've been here over an hour waiting for my prescription to be filled... They have it. And here is no line. Just taking their time. Oh and by the way, they close from 1:30-2pm for lunch. REALLY? Is this 2015? Is this a mega global 24-hour corporation or a mom and pop shop in rural Idaho? Really frustrating. These are just a couple of recent frustrations but the overall experience here is poor. Avoid of you can! read more

I use to like Walmart because of the prices but as of this week I've switched to Kroger. Since the remodeling is over it seems to have got worse. I went in the other day and most of the shelves were empty as usual since the remodel. The freezer for seafood was completely empty. I needed to get a money order but as usual the money center had one cashier with about 25 people in line. I've even asked why they don't have more people in the money center. I was told that out of five registers only two actually work. The wait time in the money center is a minimum of thirty minutes EVERY time I go. The last time I was in the money center line... about 2 weeks ago... The manager did send some people to customer service to complete their transactions because the line had reached the salon. However customer service cashiers had attitudes because if you were getting a money order that meant they had to walk back to the money center for it to print. Same thing in the check out lines. Very few open but long lines. Most of the cashiers are nice and friendly but I can't say that about any of the managers. I use to go to this location at least twice a week but I've switched to the Kroger that is near. read more
