i've had issues over the last several months with Walmart pharmacy in Sparta Illinois. The pharmacy…read moreseems to have some type of hidden prescription on won't tell me hold for what but even when my physician calls in the prescription that I need they failed to fill literally takes someone going into the pharmacy and having to have them remove the hold if they will and then refill the drug I understand that Walmart is economical choices. However, my insurance company is paying for this drug. It's also a drug that I become very ill without not being able to function definitely not being able to drive and it forces me to lay in bed until I get this drug now it may sound like I don't need to be on the drug however it has changed my life so much for the better and I do require it however, when the pharmacist looks at my wife and tells me there is absolutely nothing she can do about it and that she will not report it to her because she has done this type of thing before it just shows me that it's a corporate mechanical decision to pump as much product on the street as possible without caring about what you're doing with people's health the lady smiled at my wife and said there's nothing I can do about this. I just need everybody to know how poorly they are treating their and it's not like a it's an insurance company. This yelp review or this review is just one of the first steps that I'm going to take to be an absolute pain in this life to the point that they have to make just because I'm going to take up so much of their time that it's no longer economically feasible to ignore this problem

A certain pharmacist has an alleged bias towards giving medications exactly the way my doctor wants…read morethem. My condition isn't relevant at this time, but I have no problem revealing what I suffer from if it comes down to that. Just know there is a certain pharmacist that chooses to go out of his or her way to make it harder to get the meds I need just as the doctor ordered. I believe it's because of what seems to be an alleged bias. My doctor and nurses have contacted this pharmacy and are quite confused of why this would be an issue, considering I've had this doctor for the better part of two years. It took a while and a little trial and error to find the right regimen of medications that I feel has saved my life. I am not being dramatic; I might not be here if it wasn't for my doctor and his amazing staff, I'm simply telling my experience I myself have had from this pharmacist. I don't know if it's happening to other people that are in the same boat as I am, or in a different one. One thing I do know, again from my own experience, I'm only speaking for myself, keeping me from having my medication that I take daily is something my doctor and I have found to work, but I have to have my meds in order to take them and take them as prescribed, which is on a daily basis. But they were being withheld from me for eleven days on one and thirteen days for another. I have contacted my insurance company, my doctor's office, as well as talked to the pharmacist himself, and there seems to be an alleged bias toward my certain diagnosis and how to treat it. The pharmacist knows what these medications are for and knows the implications are of what could happen by withholding those medications for as long as he or she did, and what that could have resulted to. I've been taking these meds for 19 months; you have to find what works best for you, one size doesn't fit all. Everyone is different and that's why it's called "practicing medicine." If every medication worked the same on everyone who has taken it, there would be no reason for prescriptions to be changed by the mg, the quantity, and\or just changed or removed all together. This particular pharmacist alleged bias toward what is already a very, very touchy subject and that it is a slippery slope, but by spending all this time with my doctor, he is the one who knows best for my care plan, not the pharmacist who had never met me, spoken to me and definitely knows nothing of my story except what prescriptions I take are used for. If the pharmacist wants to convey that a certain medication reacts in a certain way if I'm taking them both at the same time, that is totally expectable and appreciated. But to just not fill medications the way the doctor ordered them or make me wait weeks in this case because of how he or she feels about the medications I'm taking, well, that is unacceptable. For people like me who need take them daily only leads me, as well as my doctor's practitioner, as well as his staff and including my doctor himself that consumers are not being treated fairly and in doing so those patients could suffer real life consequences, and I feel it's all because of the alleged bias of this pharmacist. I can't say that its every pharmacist in that pharmacy is doing this because the first time I filled one of these prescriptions there was absolutely no problem. That shows me that there is no problem in filling medications just as my doctor sent over. It wasn't until the next month's prescription was called in that the problem started. This certain pharmacist was tasked with filling my medication and took it upon him or herself not to fill exactly what my doctor and I spent the better part of 2 years trying to figure what works for me, and guess what, we did find the right ones. Hopefully, switching to a different pharmacy will remedy this problem, but if this happening to you or anyone you know please speak up. will this fix this particular problem, I don't know. If it is happening to others this has to be checked out before it gets out of hand, and it sets off something that can't be undone. This has been my opinion and my experience only; I'm only speaking for myself and what happened to me.
