To a person no one seems to care. Everyone seems bothered or are genuinely rude. I asked a young girl for something and she just stared at me would not say anything so I walked to the manager to complain and she stated that the girl spoke no English and when I said how is this legal I was told she no longer had to talk to me and I had to leave. Fact is they don't care so you better know where they moved the peanut butter from last week or the hunt is on. I have been in many WI. Walmart's this is by far the worst. read more

The worst experience of my life in walmart stores was tonight , me and my husband were doing a work traveling and we stopped by to get some stuff. The cashier to whom unfortunately I forgot to look at the name tag was rude, she declined to sell us the cigarettes even tho both of us showed the Id. She was going back and forth with them like messing around with us. I will never go back in a million years and I'll let know all my friends and family about the horrible service and staff you guys have. read more

I've been to a lot of Walmarts, so I've seen loads of them. This one is a large, bright supercenter. It is newer, but it's so clean the fluorescent lights shine off the floor. It also carried the first Caroline's Cart I've seen in Walmart-I'm really hoping some of my local ones carry them as I audibly sighed in relief when I saw it. The selections in the store was actually pretty great and the prices are always competitive. Their girl's clothing selection had more styles than I typically see. And I could move the cart in the store without bumping into things. I was actually genuinely asked if I needed assistance. And our cashier went above and beyond assisting us including giving my kids their own bags of their items. A small thing? Yes. But it makes a huge difference to do the little details like that. read more

Last week my fiancé went to the plover location to pick up some vapor rub. The service was as to be expected, horrible. Every single time we go to Walmart either separate or together the service is crap. She could not find the vapor rub she was looking for, so she went looking for a employee. She found a older lady stocking shelves near the pharmacy. She asked the lady if she could show her where it was. The lady looked up from her very hard job of facing labels and looked at her watch. She then responded "it's in the pharmacy." My fiancé tried her one more time to show her where it was. She responded again "it's over in the pharmacy" and then proceeded to roll her eyes and go back to her job of doing barely anything for a pay check. Is it really that hard to do your full job? I worked at shopko when I was in high school and my fiancé worked at the Wausau Walmart. It's really not a hard job. I don't recommend this Walmart and I never will. When I worked at a local car dealership I sold a few cars to some of their employees. In mild conversion asking about their jobs, everyone one of them said they hated that place. It's not just the employees that need to be fixed, It's the whole store. They wouldn't even price match a coupon from Pick'N Save because "it's a discount store." Trust me if it was a discount store I wouldn't be shopping at Walmart. read more

This is Walmart. Already I'm not expecting competent employees or great service. So why the 3 stars? Let me explain. First star off because I'm a couponer; the employees have no idea how coupons work and they have the mindset that I'm cheating them when I hand an item that is valued more than the sale price item. They've also refused to price match a competitor simply because I didn't have an actual ad with me. They wouldn't accept a mobile pricing. Second star off because there has never been a time where an employee actually came up to me and asked for help. They stroll by acting like they are busy and when I do ask for help, it takes too long for them to figure it out. Plus their shelves are almost always empty. I've been to Walmarts far and wide throughout America. This one is my hometown Walmart, it's clean, it's organized, it has free Wifi, and has less drama than others I've been to. Plus you're greeted by aging people who says "Welcome to Walmart" with a smile, not by a police officer in full suit. Going to other Walmarts made me appreciate mine. read more

In July of 2014; I purchased a new drivers side front tire for my 2004 Yukon. There were (2) people working in the service bay. It took them 50 minutes to replace (1) tire and they did that wrong. One of the guys spent at least 20 minutes complaining that he was not "Walmart Certified" and he had been repairing cars for over 20 years; the tire blew out 6 months later. LOCATION: Wal-Mart Supercenter - Tire & Lube Express 2001 N Central Ave, Marshfield, WI 54449 Ph. (715) 486-9440 On January 23, 2015 that same tire that I purchased in July of 2014 had a blowout on the expressway. My family and I were traveling from Wisconsin to Illinois. After contacting roadside assistance they put on our spare but closest location to purchase another tire was the Walmart in Plover, WI (store #01828). We were told that just the problem tire could not be replaced, but that all (4) tires had to be replaced because they were different sizes. I told them to replace all the tires and put the best tire in the spare rim. They said they could not do that because it was against Walmart policy. LOCATION: Walmart Supercenter - Tire & Lube Express 250 Crossroads Dr, Plover, WI 54467 Ph. (715) 345-7855 We continued our trip to Illinois, after stopping for gas we noticed the front driver side tire was low. I called the service center in Plover, WI and told them the tire was low. They said the tire regulation said it should be at 32 psi, I told them the instructions on the tire stated 51 psi. We drove a little further and noticed the tire was almost flat. We filled the tire to 42 psi and had to continue filling the tire every hour until we reached out destination. Basically we spent the next 3 hours nursing this brand new tire. The next day we told our Yukon to a local service center. After inspecting the tire (and the other 3 to be safe) they determined the cause of the problem was an improper bead seal on the rim and tire stem. This was performed at the Plover, WI location was the reason for the continue leaking tire. It was a $25.00 fix. Two incompetent Walmart locations. read more

Yikes. Stopped in off the highway thinking "I'll run in, grab a couple things, and get back out again." as I have many times before at this location. They've reorganized the entire store- I suppose they do that every so often, but I couldn't make heads or tails of the new setup. Corporate nonsense on that one, can't really fault the individual store for that. The real "one star moment" was at checkout- I wanted to use the self checkout, but they were all closed down. All the registers were closed- all of them. Quite a few people were complaining about this, and they had one tired-looking college student standing near the self checkout saying "the self checkouts are down" and that "someone is coming to open a register soon". So we waited, and waited, and waited. I finally left the store nearly a half hour later, nearly 7:00AM, empty handed- my time utterly wasted because the store either couldn't or wouldn't open an actual cash register. I'd excuse it if it were a technical issue- I would have chalked it up to bad luck and moved on. However, I (and many others) were left truly standing around waiting for another cashier to arrive that to my knowledge never came. I'm not even mad at the girl at the self checkouts- it's the manager that's to blame here. The manager at the Plover store threw one of his employees to the proverbial wolves here- an unprofessional thing to do, at best. There are better stores in the same business park for what you might need, and a Target just one exit north of this place- I'd advise you to explore these options before venturing in here. read more

My big reason for the low rating is the total lack of help and consideration for the disabled shopper. I had always been a Walmart shopper and was relatively pleased UNTIL I became disabled and need to use a riding cart to shop. . First of all, the riding carts usually are low on battery use and the sign saying whether it is being charged or needs a charge, is often flipped so it says it is charged but within 10 minutes, I am stranded somewhere in the store and have a very hard time finding an employee to help with getting a new one. Then, it seems like almost everything I need is on a top shelf and there is never anyone around to help until I can ask a fellow shopper to get something down for me. And when it is time to check out, the cashiers can see me struggling to get the items out of my cart that are near the front of it, and NEVER offer to assist. Once again, it is usually a fellow shopper who will offer help.I use recycle bags and no matter how many I take in with me, they fill them so heavy it is very difficult for me to lift them. I have talked to management a few times abut all of this and it doesn't seem to make any difference. The one area that I would give 4 or 5 stars to is the pharmacy. They, led by head pharmacist Derek, are very helpful. read more

I've never had a problem with service. When looking for an item, I encounter employees asking if I'm finding everything and taking me to the area it is located. The checkout staff have all been very friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work because I know the pay isn't great and you encounter surly customers. read more
