I'm not sure if it's requirement for Walmart associates to be rude. It a short black lady in the service department that is extremely rude!!!!! I had two interactions with her. Monday I went to get a tire install and she told I had to have an appointment. I asked could I walk in and she told me no!!!! This morning I had an appointment arrived at 7am. Got checked in. The young lady checked me told me it would be about 15-20 minutes. No one else was there waiting. 7:50 came. I asked the rude young lady who was outside talking to the two shop worker was there something wrong with my truck. She answered me " WHAT?!?!?!" With a big frown on her face. I guess I was bothering her. She told me they had just open at 7 and they have to get things together. Remind you it was 7:50. I finally left at 8:10. read more

Employees were very rude. Many blocked places. Couldn't get any help and when I could find it they were too bothered to help me. Employees avoided me when they could see I needed help. Prices on products weren't right because the products weren't in the right place. Deliveries were cancelled 2 hours after they should have been delivered. If you can avoid this place do it. I was ready to spend $$ there looking for baby stuff for my new baby and left only spending $20. I shouldn't have even spent that. After wasting my day off there and getting treated so badly I just left. Tried ordering for pick up only to be told they don't have the items when I saw them in the store. Avoid this store! I placed an online order to be delivered to my home. My address is clearly marked on Google Maps (supposedly their navigating source); my house number is on the streetside mailbox in large numbers; the house number is clearly marked on the house. Per the delivery driver's photo, my order was delivered to the wrong address - one that I do not recognize. When I contacted Walmart through chat, their response was that I should stalk my neighbors and then, if I found the package, I should resort to porch pirate. Or I could simply wait two more days to see if my order would be delivered (how?) and contact them again. I declined and asked that their driver retrieve my package from wherever and do the job right. Nope, no can do. I was flat out lied to by an employee that my items would be delivered within two hours which would have been 11:00 pm - really??? Never happened. I said at least twice that I wanted the order and did NOT want a refund, yet a refund is what I got. BTW, trying to contact Walmart is a nightmare obviously designed to dissuade any attempts. There's a guy named Noah that works in the "pickup" section, he's one of the best workers I've seen at Walmart in a long time. Everytime he came outside to bring a order , everyone would run up to him with tons of questions and he would always answer every question without getting frustrated or an attitude. This Walmart seems to be usually crowded every time I come here. There is nothing great or crazy about this location. I came here and was able to find a majority of the items I was looking for. Staff was semi helpful. Staff pointed me in the right direction to find items but the store didn't have any. I was able to get a key made at a self-service kiosk. Self-checkout seemed to move pretty fast and is the best option. read more

I went to Walmart tire and lube center in Olive Branch, Saturday to find it closed. I called Friday and Saturday several times before I went. There was no recording stating they were temporarily closed. I called several times Monday and no answer. I called customer services several time and got no answer. Then, hope came alive and someone picked up. I could hear her talking as she hung the phone up in my face. Called back several more times and no answer. I called Southaven Walmart and someone did answer. She said corporate has shut down the tire center and they will not open back up until corporate says they can. Walmart services sucks. I do understand they are short of help but be thoughtful to your customers. Put a recording stating that the tire center is closed. No one works at this Walmart, corporate has even been called. You can never find a manger or help of any kind. When you do find help you usually have to deal with 5 different associates because none know how to do their job. Lots of employees that would rather congregate in aisles while playing on cellphones, or just be completely rude and give you an attitude of "why should I be bothering someone to do the job they are paid for..." There are great associates at this store, but complete failures in management and awful, awful customer service(mainly attitude) ruin every trip I am dumb enough to make to this store. I went to Walmart in Olive Branch on last evening to get some Christmas lights, of course you go in for one thing and end of buying 100. While paying for my items I found that a Christmas lantern purchased had a small piece broken. I asked one of the cashiers to help she looked around for a manager no one was available so she told me to go to the customer service desk and ask the manager there to see if she could take something off the price as there weren't anymore of the lanterns. I went in and asked a young girl proceeded to tell me that both lanterns were broken. One of the ladies behind the desk said they could remove 10% only. I said that was fine. In the process of returning and crediting the item the young lady that started said that she could only give me a gift card that she couldn't give cash due to the multiple payments I made while paying $300.00 for my items. I told her that I paid this way before and they adjusted it and gave me cash. Meanwhile the manager Landie came over (which totally escalated this situation) saying "even if it was done before I am not going to do it". I asked for another manager that had some professionalism attached to the title. She told me she was the only manager and continued to tell me what she was not going to do and that I didn't know what I was talking about. I kept asking for another manager. I decided I didn't want any of my items and asked for a refund. This Landie character said "fine we will refund your money cause we still ain't giving the money back to you it would still go back on a gift-card." This simple minded individual was now being antagonistic. Now I was truly perplexed as to why Walmart would allow this unprofessional person to represent them. I didn't really care at this point about the issue, I wanted to find out why this lowdown, unscrupulous person was able to speak to customers in this matter and still be titled a manager. Finally another manager came from the back. I explained the situation she was professional and wanted to know what she could do to help. We got down to the issue I explained what happened explained about Landie's attitude. The issue was resolved however in the meantime this unprofessional individual (Landie) was still going back in forth with me in front of the whole store customers passing by looking at her telling me a customer " You still ain't going to get the money back no matter what you do. I work at Walmart you don't". She was hollering like she was in a club. I am totally outdone with this type of foolishness. I could never speak to a customer on my job in this manner and still have a job at the end of the day. I am truly appalled. If this is the type of manager that Walmart hires I won't be going back. This review is for the OB Walmart on Craft Frontage Rd. I called the store and was transferred to the Bakery Department. I specifically asked the lady who answered the phone was she taking photo cake orders for 12/24 as this is for a birthday. I was told yes. I asked for the bakery hours since I work until 5pm and she said they are there until 6pm. I got there at 5:30 to place order only to find the bakery closed and lights off. Young lady in deli said bakery leaves at 1pm?!! I called on my lunch break 11:15 and was told 6 and I hurried there from work. She said bakery and cake decorators come in at 4am and leave at 1pm. I thanked her for her time and left. Very disappointed and I don't appreciate being lied to and spent time hurrying there only to find out I was given false information. This place is terrible!!! While shopping in this Walmart, we took my hubby's service dog and not knowing she could not be in the buggy. At the fruit and vegetable area I walked off to get fruit and my disabled veteran hubby stayed with the dog. As I looked over a tall black female manager was talking to my hubby. I walked over and she was telling him to take the dog out of the buggy and he was telling her he was physically disabled and could not but my wife would. I walked up and heard him say that and her reply was he did not understand that he had to take the dog out right now or else leave the store. When I tried to talk to her and explain she just brushed me off and tried to keep arguing with my disabled veteran hubby. She said "you don't understand" and he said "no you don't understand shit", she then immediately starting in on him with an attitude saying he was not going to cuss her and he needed to get out of HER store. This has got to be the sorriest walmart in Mississippi. Employees are rude, and lazy. They're too busy socializing with each other to be bothered with customers. The shelves are often pretty bare and a mess. Online ordering for pick up at this location is a joke. Pick up times are delayed more often than not and your money is tied up for days because they don't have a clue what's in inventory. I'm usually a very patient, understanding, forgiving person but when people are so blatantly lazy and act like the customers are a nuisance, it's time to go somewhere else to shop. Ya know every time I give ole Walmart another chance they just make me look foolish for trying... I have a nail in my tire so I go to the tire center for help. The female at the counter looked at me without so much as a hello and said "you need something?". So I said "I ran over a nail and I need to get my tire fixed?" ..she said they didn't have the time to plug a tire. She never asked my name hell she didn't even look in the computer or ask anyone around if someone could help me out. It doesn't take very long to plug a tire and if it were my company I would have at least acted like I cared but she didn't give a damn what so ever. so I had to drive around with a hole in my tire. It's Sunday and no-one else is open. I just know if the shoe would have been on the other foot I would have helped her out and asked a male that was on duty if there was anything we could do to help the lady out. Even if no-one could help me after that at least I would have not left feeling so upset from the total lack of care a employee should have shown a paying customer no matter how much I would have spent. Olive Branch, MS Walmart(Manager Don Robertson) has MANY incompetent supervisors and employees working at this store. I tried to receive money from Money Center on Sunday morning (3/20) and used my wife's Id (I checked the box to receive from an alternate person) because she was not able to go in person. The associate told me the money could not released because she needed to be there. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she could not explain why either?? All she said is "I don't know", Very crass and unprofessional response from a member of management to a customer and not knowledgeable regarding regulations! This is VERY unacceptable behavior as a manager and she appears to be there just for a pay check I plan on taking my money to Kroger instead. At least I will be treated with respect and not like I someone who committed a crime! read more

This is the filthiest, understocked, understaffed Walmart I've ever been to. They are ALWAYS out of 5 out of ten things on my list. If I have to go to Kroger for half of my items, I'll go for all of them. Produce is rotting and has flies and gnats crawling on it. Staff are too busy telling one another how horrible it is to work there to wait on customers. The Pharmacy is always out of Maintenance drugs and never call to let you know your prescription is not able to be filled. They wait til you go to pick it up. I have been using the Walmart pick up and delivery services for over a year now and normally things go pretty smoothly. The website is concise and easy to navigate to place an order. Things were better in the beginning with actual people there for customer service, but the longer this goes it seems as the care that was taken is becoming less and less. I know that this is a service for me to use, or not but for me it is more than that. I depend on this service as I am home bound and when I make an order I want to within reason get what I ordered and if I do not I want to be able to speak to someone to see if it can be taken care of. If Walmart wants to continue this service then they should become just a servicing warehouse, or close the store to customers at a reasonable time and just do order fills after hours. There is too much going on at this location and NOT enough staff to support it. Having seen this the last time I was actually able to go I can just imagine the horrible working conditions and the frustrations of the staff, but that does not excuse them from providing some sort customer service. Honestly I am getting so tired of dealing with Walmart for not only their business practices, but just their general attitude toward their staff and customers alike and just plain not feeling good about shopping with them anymore, which they will likely not care about since what is the loss of one customer. :( read more

(This will be a biased review as ive worked for walmart for many years now lol) SInce ive transferred from up north to work at this particular store i made sure i went to see the other local stores.The only one i would say even comes close is the hernando store. Southhaven is rather messy and out of stock but i think that largely has to do with memphis being so close. But this store ive seen alot of good customer service going on while ive walked thru before i start my supervisor positon here and i am pleased that i will be a part of this team. read more

The only walmart in the area that takes the time to address the customers using the loud speaker. They occasionally have mini sales like kids pjs sets for just $1 or women's clothing for $1. They typically announce it over the speaker. The neighboring Walmarts never bother todo this and oh btw AVOID THE WALMART IN MEMPHIS ON WINCHESTER, drive the extra 5 miles or so to this location. read more

The literally embodiment of a toxic society. Almost every time I buy something it is either defected, parts missing, or they use the bait and switch attic. Rude leadership and nonchalant or overwhelmingly unqualified crew members. When I worked retail I worked in a way bigger city than olive branch and we kept house way better and it was a college city. They care more about counting they're register than making sure you have a pleasant and safe shopping experience. It is no the customers jobs to make sure the things you sell are intact. You can literally open a box of ankle weights, stuff it with jewelry, and they wouldn't care to notice. I used ankles because they sold me a box that said 5lbs ankles with 1 ankle weight in it along with a bike with holes in the tires which was on flat when they sold it to me. This store has the most disrespectful, unethical employees I have ever met. As a manager of a store I sat in Walmart along with three other people for a price that was marked incorrectly. Me along with the other three customers asked for a manager and it took them over 30 minutes and the cops being called by one of the employees before the manager would make an appearance. Cops were called because someone cursed. Really, all that; all we wanted was a manager to speak with. This Walmart has had multiple occupancies with price issues that corporate has been made aware of. Nothing seems to change and the customers are left being treated poorly. One of the employees literally laughed in my face and another csm put her hands in my face. Talk about taste and tactful employees; this store has neither of the two. Thought you were going to make a point by calling Olive Branch police department. Come on even the officer laughed at the ridiculousness of the call. Disgusting and unprofessional. I have been in this store numerous times and have made several complaints to corporate but today topped all the other complaints I have ever had. The bathroom had a total of 4 stalls and only 1 was halfway acceptable to use because of the disgusting conditions the bathroom was left in. The re-shop was so overwhelming customers couldn't walk up the front of the store without running into other customers or having to move shopping carts. Along with the mess, produce and dairy products were thrown in carts and left instead of put up for possible spoiled food to be put up at a later time to get someone sick. The employees were playing on their phones and horse playing with one another in the middle of the store when they should have been working and organizing some of the madness going on.
