Would give a zero if possible. Waited 30 minutes for an associate to come open the underwear case. No one ever showed up despite multiple calls and asking multiple associates. When asking an associate opening another case about it she was rude and acted as if a question was too much of an imposition for her. read more

Amy the customer service manager and Michelle store associate refused to cash my money gram claiming that it is possibly stolen because they said it had 2 peoples hand writing but my wife filled it out and i signed it. We had the recipe with us but they still acted like it was stolen, and totally made me look like a thief infront of several people. The only reason I was cashing it was yesterday they refused my wife and told her they don't cash money grams. This is bullshit, i knew they did. We had to miss a funeral today because of this bullshit. Why do they make excuses to not cash these for people. It's so rude and extremely humiliating to wait in line for almost 30 minutes to get treated like a thief. This store needs new management and I will never shop here again and I will discourage all my friends and family from coming to this store. One star is too much. I did an online order for a tv stand and a jar of mixed nuts. I had foot surgery on Wednesday June 5th and am not able to drive currently. I am making arrangements for someone to pick this up. I called to see if there is anyway that it could be ready earlier than 6pm and was told they have over 11,000 orders and that they could not do that. So then I asked if my friend could just swing in with the order number and grab it and was told no and then I was hung up on. I called back and asked to speak with a manager which Brett said there is no one available and that they won't pull any orders early but I could change it from delivery to pick up. It was not scheduled as a delivery anyways, it was scheduled as a pick up. There is no reason to be rude to people and treat people the way I was talked to. I was told "you're more than welcome to cancel your order and replace it or come in but of course if I do that then there are two charges and that does not need to happen. Customer service is lacking and respect is lacking. They are absolutely unwilling to cooperate in anyway. I will be making sure this goes higher than just this. do better Walmart do better read more

Just no, it's like any other Walmart. They walk around assuming you're stealing, then when you check out they are still following you. Not to mention if you buy something and it says its returnable, it's not. The chances are they will send you on a scavenger hunt on how to get a refund. To then only be told "mmm no maybe we don't know to be honest". Walmarts system as a whole is honestly miserable. I went to another store and had what I needed in 2 minutes. 2 MINUTES! Which is insane that Walmart try's to convince its shoppers it's acceptable to be treated like this. I still haven't heard back from Walmart doubt I ever will. Online shopping is even more annoying and harder to deal with. If you make a mistake or overpay theres a HUGE chance you will never see a solution to that. read more

Went to print some photos off and some employee named Nan rudely tells me to take my phone from the chord of the photo kiosk. So I move over to the kiosk next to me and she shouts at me that I wasn't aloud to charge my phone on the kiosk. I say I'm not charging my phone Im making prints here. she then proceeds to grab my property (my phone) and aggressively tear it from the chord. By this time I was in so much shock over what I was happening I didn't pay attention to what she was shouting at me. I just walked away to talk to a manager who says hed look into it.. sure.. NIGHTMARE is the word that comes to mind after this experience.If I could give negative stars, I would. My advise? NEVER order pickup at this location. Upon arriving for my order, I was told it would be another hour for my order (this was at 4:45). I asked why, because I had placed my order 5 hours prior and could very well do my own shopping in that amount of time. Not to mention that I neither had the time nor the gas to wait that long in 109 degree heat. When I tried to talk to someone, I was told that there's nothing they could do because they're short staffed. When my order finally was ready, it was 6:30 and I received about half of what I ordered (ice cream already melted), half of someone else's order and a bunch of substitutes that I didn't get to review or approve of because they marked my order as "ready" when I first got there and checked in. This was by far the worst experience I've EVER had with walmart. Thank God for Winco! If I might as well do my own shopping, that's who has my business after today. read more

I shop at Walmart because of the prices. Since they decided we could all act as cashiers I only go there to buy the items I know are cheaper. I hate being an unpaid cashier at Walmart. I loathe every moment of it. I don't like scanning groceries, loading bags and ringing up my own purchases. I didn't spent the last fifteen years as a mental health professional to retire and become a cashier at Wally World. I am old and it is not a pleasant task. If this is what the future holds, I will order online and pickup at the store. There is also the obstacle course created by the endless stacks of pallets of merchandise sitting everywhere in the store. I guess the former cashiers aren't that good at stocking? Add to that, they are putting everything under lock and key. Sandpaper. Batteries. Back in Automotive and Building Supplies there is one guy working and many of the items are locked up. He has to sprint from one aisle to the next to unlock the doors and let you grab a five dollar pack of sandpaper. I know they have a problem with shoplifting but really?? Every time I walk in the door I find another reason not to go back. But the prices are cheaper. Yet, the people who work there are wonderful and I have nothing but praise for them. read more

With the addition of MORE self checkouts, I would bump this Walmart from a one to a three. Especially paired with Walmart+ where you can just scan things as you shop and pay via the app. Walmart is fine for what it is but the people working here are the issue. I was in search of a specific candy for my grandson. I'd never heard of it until he mentioned it and didn't know what it looked like. There were several sections of candy in the store so I was lost. I went to customer service and Vesta (hope I spelled that right) walked me all over the store until she found what I needed. Way above and beyond the kind of service I expected. Walmart is truly a love hate relationship. I come to this store often for the household goods, hardware, storage bins- and sometimes for the grocery. The big problem I have with this store is there is NEVER enough staff checking people out. The self serve area is always packed and you'll wait there forever so it's about the same time waiting for a cashier and the self check. I get great deals on the stuff I do buy there and the staff that is out on the floor is always friendly- but checkout is a nightmare. I couldn't find a locker lock for the gym and a sales lady in the housewares area showed me where they were and was super nice- even though it was all the way in hardware out of her area. So if Walmart really did have extra people checking us out like it shows on tv then my feelings would be totally more positive. Maybe they'll figure this out someday and improve the way people view them- but I'm not holding my breath read more

I needed bags for them I pulled five bags out because I had 512 packs of bottles and the lady told me I don't need all those bags very rudely! I said yes I do and she was arguing with me about it! And then when I asked her why would you say that to me that's very rude she said that she didn't know I needed them to carry my stuff upstairs and I said that's why you should ask before you're rude! Went in to this Walmart to order a pair of glasses and the manager of the vision center helped me. She was rude from start to finish and at one point when I was confused on if insurance might help cover some costs or not. She proceeds to slam the mouse down and say " you didn't say anything about insurance" I paid for my one set but overall a terrible experience. read more

I came in to get a sleeping bag and a very kind gentleman unlocked the thing for me and brought it to the self checkout, I finished my shopping and came back to the self checkout to get it. I was front in line and there was one open self checkout so I asked the guy working if my sleeping bag was back there, and he very rudely told me that I had to wait in line even though I was front in line?? Turns out the lady behind me helped herself to the open self checkout while I was trying to get the sleeping bag. Hello, The evening of March 8, 2019 I went to Walmart at 1360 Center Drive in Medford, Oregon 97501, to do some shopping. I lost my car keys. I went around looking for them, asking lost and found etc. A male black security guard was very rude during this process. I ignored it of course. I called AAA and they opened my car and I found the lost keys where I had dropped them, on the floor. I went and did my shopping. for those that don't know, this particular Walmart is like a police state in the evening where security guards stop people of all ages races and genders, including whole families, and they search them while checking there receipts. As I approached the door they did this to me, the same black kid but now he was with an older white male. The black kid who had been so rude before seemed quiet as the old man pet my dog, I am disabled and allowed a dog, he mentioned how easy it would be to kill my dog. He did this right out of the blue. These are the people Walmart has harassing customers as they shop. My other dog was murdered in Ashland, Oregon last summer, I now wonder if it wasn't some sick demented rent-a-cop that did it. I shop here often and have found employees to be helpful. The only complaint I have is that they usually have too few checkout lines open. There are 12-15 lines, but often only about four of them are open. read more

We showed up at 11:46PM to get some last minute supplies for a concert (lawn chairs and sunscreen) Immediately harassed by an employee outside telling us in Dad voice that we "only have like, 5 minutes before close." Wrong. We have fourteen minutes. Step inside, cashier lady is calling out to us, "Hey you only have 7 minutes before close!" Mhm. Just give it a rest. None of you are giving accurate times, you're just being rude. We already knew what time you closed anyway. Sheesh. We got our stuff, and we're walking to checkout at 11:55PM, some foreign lady is running towards us waving her arms and yelling in very difficult-to-understand English that the registers are closed we need to use self-checkout. Yes, we know, that's why we're walking to self-checkout. Stop freaking out please. Walmart would be a lot better in the employees were nicer, and simply left people alone unless there is an ACTUAL issue. Hi. I have been a Target customer for quite a few years in California. Today, I had one of the best customer service experiences ever at a Target. A young man, Clarence, helped me at the Target in Medford, Oregon on Thursday, September 5th. I was so impressed by the fact that he went out of his way to provide in-depth product information on two portable speakers so that I could make the best informed decision about my purchase. He even went to the lengths of doing a calculation to provide the decimal range. Clarence had so much energy to attend to both fellow staff and customer needs around him, I was blown away. Here is a guy who clearly takes pride in his job. I hope Target higher ups pass this forward. This guy deserves accolades or a promotion. Thank you so much! read more

Seriously.... this place is frustrating when it comes to keeping items in stock. I will go in here with a list and no joke, 9 out of 10 things won't be there. This happens A LOT...not just 1 time. Apparently some cashiers think that Walmart doesn't sell donuts by the dozen either out of their donut case....even tho there is a sticker on the case stating that they are however much a dozen. She fought me about this...I got a manager and she even told me they don't sell them by the dozen (prepackaged dozens yes, but no dozens you packaged from the case). Went back to the bakery to make sure I hadn't assumed or read the sign wrong...plain as day dozen donuts for whatever price...ugh. and those are good donuts too...but no. I LOVEEEEE LOVE clearance racks...I frequent target for their amazing clearance racks. Walmart...When something has a regular price of, lets say $50, it is NOT clearances when you reduce the price to 49.50...get with the program. read more

Horrible shopping experience. No live cashiers. People are herded like cattle to self checkout. The prices may be good, but not worth checking myself out. This is my second visit with this experience, and was told by the manager that they would have cashiers last month. One of my favorite Walmarts to shop at, I visit this location several times each week. I've found that shopping early in the morning makes all the difference in terms of how busy it is, and I also use the self checkout. I mention those two things because I can imagine that my experience might be different than someone's who visits when it's busy or if they choose to wait in line to pay (rather than using the self checkout). So that said, shopping at this location is a pleasure. I'm always greeted by pleasant staff at the "market" entrance and the store is clean. read more

I usually only go to wal-mart to get a specific flavor of pop-tart. Sounds weird, I know, but I'm picky about pop-tarts and they're great for a quick breakfast before my early morning classes. I was in town visiting my mom and we stopped by here for hair-dye, pop-tarts, and deli meat. It's your typical walmart that's for sure. Nothing special really (except they have wild berry pop-tarts SCORE). The girl who helped us at the deli was incredibly rude though. She was very snippity and condescending. I kept thinking, "really, all we want is some deli sliced chicken so we can make some sandwiches for my mom's birthday picnic tomorrow, WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM?"
