It's a very small Belk store; so I understand that they have hardly any room for things to be displayed. You can not walk between racks or up the isles without knocking over the merchandise, tearing clothing off of hangers or hitting the edges of the tables (ouch!) This store needs to be moved to a larger building. They are unable to stock the items that other Belk stores have.

I purchased a dress that I had to go down in size and jeans that I had to go up in size. Try on everything so you can make sure it fits. My fitting room experience was not great. The attendant was more concerned with conversing with her coworkers than checking me in. Self check out can be tricky if you are not paying attention. The lady ahead of me did not get a receipt and the attendant told her incorrect info about obtaining it. After I paid and my receipt did not come out, I asked for assistance. Turns out the paper was jammed in the machine. I have my receipt, but the lady in front of me was SOL. The manager told her if you need to bring something back to tell them what happened. I hope they don't give her a hard time about that! I do agree with other Yelpers to come here during the day or during the week to not be in a crowded store. Oh and they close at 8pm with the mall, not 9pm as the Yelp listing says.

They would purchase several hundred dollars worth of things. I used to panic until I realized that in two days or so they would change their minds and return half of the stuff! She's said all of my shoes were 50% off today only and some were 70% off regular retail. She said I need to replace all of my old shoes. The small shopping center has bowling, pawn shop, escape room, thrift store, post office, a Chinese restaurant. This is not a "name brand" store but more of a "dollar department store". This is the best place and best price to get dog supplies ($5 dog beds!), comforter sets (I don't recommend the sheets so much but the bedding is great!), bath/kitchen/beach towels, window treatments, and household decor. They also carry clothing in all sizes for all age groups. The quality of the clothing is moderately well and the price is great! They carry cleaning products, kitchen supplies, health and beauty items, canned/dry snacks and groceries, tons of candy, OTC medication, small appliances, toys, and seasonal items and decor. They are constantly getting in new merchandise each week. The staff is really sweet and efficient. If you are not interested in supporting the "big box chain stores" then give Roses a try!

Even at 8pm, it was a little busy. After a quick stop in the Walmart, I locked up the Sprinter van and tried to get a night's sleep. This Walmart tolerates overnight RV parking and that's what I did as my van is converted. However, it was not to be. After two "burnouts" in the parking lot, I opted to move along to somewhere else. The shopping center is anchored by the Walmart. There is also a Dollar Tree, liquor store, mobile phone store, pizza, shoes, nail salon and a bunch more.
