Decently stocked but a mess. The men's and ladies departments had a lot of merchandise on the floor or draped over the fixtures. In the grocery area, a lot of mis-shelved items and some items completely out of stock. Socks and underwear areas were not sorted properly. It took some searching but we did find stuff in the right sizes. A long queue for self-checkout with some of the machines blocked off. When we did get to scan, it worked fine and we were on our way. I am tired and sleepy, so I can't give a detailed report. But as far as I can remember I love online shopping. It sure beats having to walk all over the store to pick up the items you need or want. I am 77 years old and sometimes it is just too much to walk the whole store especially when you need birdseed and coffee. The people who bring our groceries to the car are always super nice and the orders are always correct. Thanks Walmart! read more

I'd give this store zero stars if I could. The Laurens, SC employees for the most part (not all, but most) are the rudest group of people I've ever dealt with. And management is just as bad. Earlier today, my wife shopped the clearance items. All were in a section with several 75% off signs posted around. When she checked out, some of the items didn't ring up as 75% off. She asked to see someone in management. The manager came up and said something to my wife that she didn't catch. She then started in about "you can't greet me"? My wife had no idea what she said earlier, and what difference does it make anyway. The lady wouldn't let it go and this agitated my wife. They had a few words and the manager implied my wife was being racist. Told her she should "explain herself". My wife told them to keep the stuff and left. And last week, I had 3 aisles close on me before I could check out. We're standing in line and they just walked up and told us to find another lane to check out. I had one item. After standing in line for the forth time, I finally got to check out. In the self check aisle. This is the Wednesday before Christmas at about 7pm. All employee check out aisles were closed. It was a madhouse. Screw Walmart. I don't like Amazon, but I'll be doing more shopping there. And the local hardware stores will get my business. read more

Management here should be investigated. My mom added 500.00 to a Walmart gift card. Once she was home and checked the card, and nothing was on it. Now management is saying there is nothing that they can do which is a lie. Either the cashier took the money or the management who counts the drawer nightly took it. I was buying loads of stuff at the Laurens store, groceries and gardening supplies to get ready for a large, stressful party. Jermarion in the garden department was so very nice and made my shopping experience way less stressful. He was stocking Christmas decorations, no other customers were around, and he stopped to answer a question. He offered to check out all my purchases there in the garden department. He was so kind and friendly. He is really an asset to that store. read more

Best Walmart I've ever been to. My husband will not step foot in Walmart however he did this time and let me tell you he said " I will come to this store any time you want to come back"!!!!! Well, it's walmart. My experience with this store has been ok. The employees have always been friendly and helpful. Though 50% of the customers have lost their mind. They forget how to drive, are absolutely inconsiderate while shopping, block the whole isle when others have to pass, they talk loudly on their phones about their drama, and are ghetto or trailer park trash. I've been in many Walmart stores across the US. The one in Greenwood SC is the worst I've been in. The associates are not helpful at all, and that's if you can find one. The store is always in a mess. Out of stock on what you come after. The HBA department is awful. Never can get what I need. Coming to this store is a last resort. This store has not always been this way. I think someone needs to rethink the management staff at this store. Major changes need to be made. read more

Cannot give a 0 star rating. If I was in operations at WM. I'd close this store in a day. Rude attitudes from employees, Managers who are inept, an unstaffed jewelry counter, and then they still won't help customers who need a simple watch battery replacement. In the past few months I've seen this store at peak hours with 2 checkout lines open. My dad got pickpocketed in the checkout line, I've been yelled at, approached, and cursed by drunks in the parking lot at night. Time to rethink how the business runs Bentonville. In an attempt to return some spoiled meat that I had bought the previous day, I entered and immediately took note of the long line for customer service. I got in line, thus becoming customer number 11. There are 4 registers at this particular customer service and only 1 was working. As the line continued to grow, customers, including myself, asked for the manager. Upon his, Blake's, arrival the awaiting customers immediately took note of his unprofessional attitude and aggression towards having been called. He then went on a rant about how there was nothing that he could do about the registers being down & how he didn't know magic to bring them back up in service. I suggested to him to authorize one of the retail registers to be converted to allow an associate to simply take returns there (as I've seen done during the holiday season) to try to filter out this ridiculous length in the customer service line. He continued his rant about his lack of magic powers. As this time, I told him that he was not assisting or managing as he should & that he should have just not have come to the front if he was going to have this unprofessional demeanor & unwillingness to speak with a voice of reasoning & compassion. At this time, Blake pulled out his cell phone and called the local authorities to have customers that he deemed "too upset" to be removed from the property. I'm at a lost for words as to how and why the police were called when he initiated the entire situation by being too passive & not accepted any responsibility for whatever issues that were taking place at customer service. His performance, or lack thereof, was very lackluster, rude, belittling, unacceptable, disrespectful, and down right unnecessary. He needs to be retrained & definitely needs to be reprimanded!!! read more
