Supposedly kids 16 and under can't touch anything. They have a security guards harassing people while they are shopping to enforce their rules that they come up with. Bintime is literally an adult treasure hunt ! But you have to get your mind right before entering because this place is an experience and strategy can be important. There are rows and rows of long bins and you literally have to dig for the deals. First first timers it can be overwhelming so here's what to know : - once you enter grab a blue bag and start shopping ! - most purses aren't allowed . If it's clear or tiny they may let you bring it in but otherwise leave it in the car. -you can't open boxes at the bins . There may be boxes that you can't tell what is inside - if you want to have it opened you have to take it to the box counter and an employee will open it . Afterwards they will seal it back and give it to you to purchase or place behind the counter if you don't want it . -the Amazon app can be helpful ! If you have the Amazon app on your phone you can sometimes scan the barcodes on the boxes and bagged items to view the official Amazon listing . You can then see clearly what the item is , the price it retails for on Amazon and read reviews. This doesn't always work though because the bintime employees place new upc stickers over the original ones which aren't recognized by Amazon . - disposable gloves are great to wear here. You will be digging through things and touching lots of stuff so I always like to wear disposable gloves I can toss once I leave . -Saturday is the most expensive and busiest day ($5) because the most coveted items are dropped on this day . -right now 50 cent day is Wednesday. It's worth going to . I snagged a bunch of Aveda and Redken hair products as well as high end face products for 50 cents . It can often be just as busy as Saturday. - if you arrive before they open there will be a line . - if you are buying food make sure to check the expiration as they don't . -there's another section of the store called the "deal den" with a different selection of what they consider "premium items" priced higher than the bins. This kinda place is a once or twice a year visit for me . Other people seem to go every weekend and they seem more critical . But for me and my minimal visits , it's a fun time ! When I tell you this is my type of fun! I discovered bin stores during the pandemic. It became a Saturday ritual just to have something to do! While visiting Greenville one weekend I was reminded that this store was in close proximity. As such, my mother and I opted to stop by prior to leaving the city. This store has a very organized layout. The perimeter of the store consists of The bigger and basically nicer items.. The Sunday I was there they had various clothing items, weights, kettle bells, electric bikes , furniture, just all kinds of good stuff. I would highly recommend price checking anything prior to purchasing. Just because it appears to be a bargain does not always mean that it is. At the center of the store you will find the bins. For me, they were a waste of time. I did not find anything of interest in them. To the far left of the store you will find electronics and additional clothing items. Overall I think this store is worth checking out. I purchased a few clothing items. I would have purchased an electric bike if I had the capacity to get it home! read more

It's a discount store meets flea market except everything's the same price. We arrived on Sunday and on Sunday, everything's $5 each. Everything. Put on your mask, grab a bag and just walk your way along the bins, picking and picking and picking. If it looks interesting, put it in your bag. Don't think, just do. When you've spent enough time digging and checking and you're ready to leave, now's your chance to review what you picked. Keep? Toss? Maybe? Somehow, we found 12 things to purchase. Some of them were stuff I didn't realize we needed. We got two boxes of meal replacement shakes that would have been $30 but were only $5. A few other bits and pieces. We went to this store and in the first five minutes my girl friend and I were being followed around the store for no reason other than we were not in one of there lines outside the way they wanted us to. I was just looking for merchandise for five minutes and then I was told and put on a report that I could never come to there store again. Imagine being embarrassed in front of everyone for not doing anything. Im in the process of taking this sorry excuse for a store to civil court. These people have there gall. I recommend this place because I always find great deals! I didn't give it 5 stars because they lack in help sometimes, depending where you are. Some places are more layer back on the rules there, but some places watch you very closely to make sure your not peaking inside for a look. All in all, I highly recommend it! This place is great if you feel like digging around, not a everyday thing, because you let hours pass. I actually have to set an alarm. It's really big and they always have something you may need, One down fall is that I have purchased things in a box believing it to be that item and it was something else, they don't allow you to see if the item is in the correct box, but they will open it if asked to. Went there for the 1st time saturday.love this place I found so many things the place is clean and organized. Unlike the bin store in Greer.

Today we decided to stop by bin city in Anderson we've never been there so as a first time customer, we didn't necessarily know the "rules" and weren't told hey we have rules that have to be followed. Instead the staff just keep telling everyone "hey if you need help opening something let us know" not "hey please don't open anything the staff must be present for you to open stuff". There was no list of rules that I could see displayed for customers, however the only packages we were opening were ones that had already been torn into and opened already. We didn't open anything that was completely taped or sealed. Instead of a staff member coming and saying hey you can't do that, we were approached and told hey you guys keep opening things and it's against our rules. We then got asked to leave which is fine, but if you have specific rules you need to make sure the customer knows being it could be their first time in your store not hey if you need help let us know because that sounds like more of a suggestion rather then a rule set in place. So with being said as a first time customer that was my first and last visit going there. read more
