Grocery Delivery- 19 Banana Cream Pies for one elderly man?!? This happened several years ago, I just learned about it talking to him this week. He was charged for all of them, even though there was no way he could eat more than just the one he had ordered. He had ordered from them in the past, so it wasn't like they didn't know a "typical order" from him. He was charged for all 19 pies (over $400). I purchased Walmart + for grocery delivery. Out of five orders I have had one order that was stolen (the driver said it was delivered but the picture was a black screen. I got a wrong order today which I thought was a delivery driver mistake (they took a photo), but I now suspect was an inside job. A label with my name was on items that didn't match whatsoever what I ordered off their website. I order expensive and much needed items like eggs, milk and meat leading me to believe that either someone in the store or doing the deliveries are taking what they want from people's online orders figuring Corporate will refund the customer anyway (which happens through chat...they are unable to contact the actual store or driver). read more

Initial observation, there were about 6 registers open, and the front lane supervisor was moving customers to empty lanes, and asking the young kids to stand out in front to invite customers to their lanes. Literally there were 3 male employees working in one aisle and several female employees walking around and yet there are only 2 lines open with over 30 or more customers in both lines. This is the worst Walmart that I've every been too. I've been here twice and each time there are never any shopping carts in the store , they are all outside, when you ask the employee standing at the door about the shopping cart, you are told that you must go outside to get one. I have tried twice to support this Walmart but the people in the store are very rude, and look at you like you are crazy if you ask for assistance. Shelves are aways empty and the only check out they have is self check out and lines are horrible, it seems like a new manager is needed here. I tried twice, no more . The store was crowded with lines rounding corners and around a hundred people waiting in lines, self service and regular checkout. I decided to call customer service while waiting to speak with the manager who I've never seen. The person who answered told me that she did not know her managers name. She put me on hold for about 8 more minutes. She finally returned to the phone, and said his name is Nick but she didn't know his last name. Then she told me that they could have no more than three lanes open at a time. I have been to countless Walmart's and have seen more than three lanes open. So why is this a rule at this location? Wow, just wow!! Here I am at Walmart trying to buy one iPhone power cable. I walked in the door and lines are backed up all the way to half the distance to the back of the store, with self checkout almost to the refrigerator section! Oh yes I'm smart. I was going to check out at the electronics area where my cable was picked up,....but no. The registers there are not turned on. The line, barely moving, this has gone from the ridiculous to the bizarre. BTW, did I tell you it's near the end of August? This isn't Black Friday, but it feels like it. So truth be told this is not even my local Walmart AND is the worst Walmart I've ever visited. My local Walmart is efficient. There are plenty of mobile chairs for the disabled, but here there are almost none. Ok maybe 3. My aunt has to wait in the car. And the parking lot...More insanity. Dirtiest store I have ever walked into. Shelves not stocked and random items laying around. Almost anything costing more than 10 dollars is locked in a case. I went to the self check out and it said it required an employee ID. Obviously I understand certain items need to be checked by employees, but what I don't understand is how I had to stand there for 10 minutes and wait for someone to enter the ID. I shopped here on Friday January 14, 2021 at 10 am and to my absolute shock, there was only one register opened with a line of 9 people waiting. The customer in front of me asked a manger if she could open another lane and she said no due to being short staffed. After waiting in line for 20 minutes, another register opened up without anyone announcing it let alone offered those of us who had been waiting forever the opportunity to move over to the newly opened register! I have never experienced such terrible customer service. I would drive the extra 12 minutes across the boarder to the Walmart in Hammond , Indiana which provides wonderful customer service! read more

It's a Wal-Mart, so don't come with your expectations too high. I like to come either right when they open at 6am (I get off work at 530a sometimes), or late around 11-1130p just before they close at midnight. It's nice and quiet in the morning, shelves are being fully stocked, and it seems like the employees are in a better mood than after a long day dealing with customers. I used to work retail at K-Mart years ago so I know how it is for them. During the day it's a madhouse, the checkouts take FOREVER and they are slow to open more lanes. I avoid coming during the day if I can. Other than that, it's your usual Wal-Mart. I like their prices on oil and filters and such for my vehicles. This is a newer Wal-Mart, so things aren't completely thrashed yet. read more

I normally shop at Homewood Store and decided to give this store a try HUGE mistake, my wife has been waiting on a tax exempt form for half an hour and employees just keep walking away from her! Pawning her off to the next person (she's doing Halloween party for 4th graders) still waiting 30 min plus. I however decided to purchase a norelco face pro electric razor last week and I opened it couple days ago and realized there's no blade with it. Like WHAT????and I pitched my receipt. I decide to go to the razors to look for the replacement blades and scan the barcode for the blades and it says they have 3 on hand. I am standing by the prescription eyeglasses and ask them to page someone for me. I patiently proceed to wait for the better part of 15 minutes before I throw my hands up in the air and decide to look for someone. This place needs a complete and utter revamp of employees, employee said she didn't hear page. I think the whole store heard the page except you and just laziness and figuring someone else would handle it is your motto. Upon entering the store , there was no one to help. The young ladies was in the isles holding a conversation and not help. Looking for totes I came across totes that were marked down from $5.78 to $1. I was told to take it to customer service for help with the purchase. The young lady in customer service asked us to show her the ad. We went to the Walmart website and showed her that the totes were one dollar. She said ask Jeanette who was wearing the yellow vest for help. She said call Dave who I was told was the assistant store manager and he stated that he was busy and couldn't help. The young lady at the customer service counter stated that he was ignorant and always yelling about nothing and she stated that it was time for her to go home . She turned out the light and walked away no no result. This was tacky and I wouldn't shop there again . This is what they call POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AT ITS FINEST. SMH read more

I ordered 2 packs of 50 count black plates online. I was text the order was ready for pick up in Lansing, Illinois. I went to pick up the package and the customer service rep instructed me on how to check in. Once checked in a young lady greeted me and asked my name and preceded to the back to get my package. She returned with a bag with 2 packs of plates with a 20 count in both packs. I said " This is not what I ordered." She then checked the ordered and agreed with me that something went wrong. I am now in tears because the retirement party is the next day. I had no extra money for another order. I called customer service as I stood there. The customer service rep told me to ask for the manager. So I did. I then encountered Yvette. I passed her my cell and the customer service rep started placing blame. Yvette handled it very professionally and excused herself from the call. Yvette unlike the customer rep apologized to me and helped to resolve the problem. YAAAAAAA to Yvette for being very professional and not pointing fingers like the rep. TEAM WORK MAKES THE DREAM WORK,. This is life and in life things can go wrong and how you deal with them can determine your day. My night ended with me being satisfied and grateful. read more
