The Walmart Pharmacy is simply outstanding. The Pharmacists are so knowledgeable and have helped me so many times. After a lengthy hospital stay, I left with TEN new medications...On top of all the ones I already take. Steve made a detailed dive into all of them & made sure none of my new meds contradicted with my others. I'm only 51 & just suffered from two strokes & heart failure. It's been a difficult time. They even walk out to my vehicle & deliver them to me. Their smiles & friendly attitudes have been a big help for me & my family. Another Pharmacy in town, Wal...is a nightmare to deal with. Horrible shopping experience! Empty shelves in all departments. Crappy produce, the store was in chaos! Clothing displays looked like a bomb went off! A Sunday in Hayward, mind you a tourist town, TWO checkers!? I waited in line 40 minutes! The poor lady checking me out said she just started working there the day before!!! Meanwhile my husband was in the liquor department trying to buy beer and he waited about 30 minutes. Unacceptable! We will be shopping elsewhere from now on! read more

While my family and friends were vacationing in Hayward, we went to this Walmart a few times to pick up groceries and other essentials. The place is always packed, but that's a typical Walmart for you. They had everything that I was looking for, which is always a good thing. Overall, it is a typical Walmart. read more

They have a lot of handicapped parking spots and electric scooters but not enough for the summer crowds. Very long lines to check out and no place to sit. I can't shop there in the summer as I need a scooter or place to sit while shopping in a large store. read more

Very disappointed that the whole front of the store is cashiered by teenagers who can't sell alcohol. When you have beer in the back of your store and then people get to the checkout and you tell them to go into the liquor store to check out because nobody can ring you up that's very poor service. There should at least be a manager or an adult somewhere so they can swipe the alcohol through. I did not buy I came in the store for that and I left it all on the counter because I'm not going to make a whole separate trip into the liquor store to make a purchase that I could have made at the counter on my way out. This is a good Walmart! They have everything it's the grocery store plus basically the super center. Lots of clothes and home supplies. The only thing is they were totally out of every type of sunscreen except spf 50! They had a ton spf 50 sunscreen but nothing else! I wanted spf 30. I guess that's not a big deal but we stopped here to get supplies for the week for our cabin because we're from out of town. Other than that it's super nice and organized inside. They do carry liquor in a SEPARATE room meaning you have to pay separate it's to the left of the cashiers at the front of the store. read more

A new service to consider!!! My husband and I were in Hayward visiting family on 12/2/2018. He visited and I went shopping, I hate to shop but when I do, I do very well. Between noon and 2pm, My 1st cart became full & I was only half done shopping. I was without a car, so I asked at customer service if I could stage my cart there. They said yes. So I grabbed another cart and continued shopping. When my husband came to pick me up, I asked him to check out my 1st cart and took him to it. We finished up the second cart & checked that one out. When we got home and I sorted out everything, I found we were missing at least three items that I had put in the first cart. A tall rug that was sticking out of my cart so tall I had to be careful driving the cart, a three compartment crock pot and a coffee cup mug that said, I'm the boss. There may be more that I am not remembering as of now. I am not blaming customer service for they had no idea if why I was staging my cart there for 2 minutes or 2 hours. I never gave them a reason. There may be a secure place for people to place a cart when full and they want to do more shopping. That is the question I should have asked at customer service. It probably is not a problem that a lot of people face. If I would have had my own car I would have check out the first cart and then continued to shop. From Park Falls, Wi surrounded by Walmart's within an hour in all 4 directions. Because our family moved back to Hayward, this will be the store we get to 99% of the time. I went into this store to help find someone a new tv. They had one on the shelf so I looked it up on line. It was $130 cheaper online but they said they could not match the price. I was able to order the exact tv from Ladysmith and drive 53 miles out of my way. When I got to Ladysmith it was the EXACT tv they had!!! Thanks for nothing!! read more
