Gets the job done. This is the closest Walmart to B's grandparents house. There isn't a whole lot to do in Portland, TN so making late night runs to this Walmart is nice. It's convenient enough. Compared to some of the Walmart's in my area, this one offers more variety. They have more Great Value goods, which works well when you're on a budget and don't need the name brand version. Plenty of self check out stations. Update: Adding another star because we forgot a bag at self check out. We didn't realize it until much later. When we called customer service, they said they already had our bag saved. Customer service was super friendly and organized. Thanks friends! read more

Got my oil changed here, they stated on the paperwork that my window cleaner was filled and it was empty, on the paperwork it said I had declined to get my fluids checked and also declined that they would vacuumed the floors and I was actually never asked about any of that. Now I'm worried, did they even change my oil? Corporate needs to clean up this auto center and bring in people that actually do the work. read more

Yeppers...It's Wally World Now I hate the thought of going into a Walmart just as much as the next person. Not because of the store, but because of who you may run into while shopping there. I'm sure we've all seen our fair share of "Walmart Shoopers" you tube videos. However, when your a mom of 3 littles on a budget, you do whatcha gotta do! This is by far the best Walmart I've been to. Everything is always in stock and they have clearance quite a bit in multiple departments. I love shopping here to save money. The store is clean and employees are very friendly. I also love the fact that they have the new scan and go feature. Never heard of it? Google it. It's awesome! They also have Walmart pick up right as you walk in the North end of the building. You can also make a stop at the Redbox in the lobby before you leave. Now if they would just add Walmart grocery pick up to this location it would be awesome!!!! But over all, this Walmart is great :) read more

I started a review on this with a 5 star mostly cause of the Scan & Go's getting the job done faster. Since Scan & Go has been gone things are slower & in the way. Who's bright idea was it to put loading doors right in the grocery isle? Where most people go! I can't get through with a cart let alone walk cause so many dollies are coming in & out of the loading doors. Also I get carded for everything, even CHEESE the other day & there's nobody around to check my ID every time this happens read more

The electronics area people are dirty and won't honor the price that is listed online I found an item online $200 cheaper then they had in the store first day I tried to get it there was none on the floor asked a worker she said they had more in the back then we told her the price it shows online she was looking it up as she was going back there then all of a sudden she came back and said that was the one but didn't have any more sold the last one for that price earlier then waited a couple of days went back up there and there was on the floor take it up there to pay at electronics then a employee named Zack was trying to find anything he could wrong with it but said some number was different but keep in mind he pulled some sticker off real quick and threw it away but after he put it back and walked away I scanned it myself and guess what it comes up with the one $200 cheaper read more

If you need your stress level increased go to this Walmart. A 100% increase in blood pressure guaranteed! It's crowded. Not enough room to move around. If you really wanna know how this Walmart makes people feel, just look around at the faces of the poor people walking around in here like Zombies. Not. One. Smile. In. The. Entire. Store. The self checkout lines are longer than normal lines. Sometimes scan and go checkers don't work - just recently had to go get another in the middle of shopping because mine malfunctioned. But that was okay, because the line was so long, I had plenty of time to rescan the stuff in my basket while waiting! It is an unpleasant experience no matter what day or time I go to this Walmart. The "upgrades" that supposedly make things run more efficiently only slow everything down. The money would have been better spent on a few good employees that could check people out without all of the glitches. Speaking of employees, 99% of the employees at this Walmart are missing in action. And the ones that you do see are just about the rudest people in existence. I understand working at Walmart probably isn't glorious. But at the very least, these people could put some effort in for God's sake. The sad thing is, unless I ever move, I will continue to have to be subjected to this hell on Earth lest I go without groceries. read more
