Came here to get fish filters and was in complete shock when I saw this. They should not be allowed to sell betta fish. They're living in their own filth and will die very soon if not changed.

This Walmart has a blue Redbox. I am not fond of that. You can often see three employees cleaning up one small spill. But really, who can blame them? I wouldn't want to work there either. You can also expect chaos right now. This is one of the stores that has been undergoing a serious remodeling. [I was trying to buy a digital camera a few weeks ago. It was located in the electronics department. The employees in that dept said that they didn't have a key to the case that contained the cameras. They were supposed to be getting someone from the photo department to come over and unlock it, but 10 minutes later, I had no camera in my hands. After some assertiveness, someone finally opened the case - and then carried it to the photo department, where I had to wait in a long line to purchase it. The cashier didn't know how to ring it up, and for some reason, purchasing it required me to give them my name, which they wrote on a crumpled piece of paper on a clipboard.] The only cool thing about this Walmart (and the only reason it gets 2 stars instead of 1) is that there is a female employee that frequently wears strange headbands and bunny ears. And by frequently, I mean every time she is there. You can usually catch her late at night; she is a cashier. :D

Does not uphold the mandatory mask mandate. When brought to the attention of a manager, it was shrugged off.

Basically all the things that would constitute a normal mall. The mall remained this way for a while during the 1990's, and some stores closed along the way, or changed names. Natural evolution, right? Then the stores started closing, and nothing replaced them. Sure, Bealls, Cato, GNC, Regis, and Corn Dog 7 stayed the course, but pretty soon they were the forefront of the whole College Park Mall experience. A few stores came in and out just as quickly as they were announced, but when the old Wal-Mart left the mall to move across the street into a super mega hyper combo center, this is when the mall truly died. I just don't think anyone's had the heart to tell the poor thing. Cato and GNC fled to a new shopping center across from the new Wal-Mart. The 2000's have been nothing but unkind to College Park Mall. Bealls still remains there, as do a few clothing shops. Over half the mall has been walled up where the old jewelry stores used to be, meaning half of the shopping center is completely inaccessible to people. Too bad for the senior mall walkers that once frequented the place and did their paces every morning, right? Corn Dog 7 looks like it could/would almost be open, but it turns out that whoever owned that place, must have done a fast abandonment. You can still hang out at Corn Dog 7, just don't expect any service there. Or food. Ever. The mall is a sad, sad place these days. Many locals bemoan the high rental costs it takes to run a store there as to the reason why nothing new comes in anymore, from high-profile store to even a local business. So if the landlords wanted their own personal empty mall to ride bikes in or roll a ball from one end to the other uninterrupted, good job! They achieved their goal. It's depressing even walking into the tiny section that's still left open. The even more bitter pill comes from knowing that it actually used to be a top-notch shopping experience for Corsicana.

It's…read morebuilt on the corner of a dilapidated and otherwise empty Kmart lot, which makes for a lonely environment. Aldi probably seized on the fire sale. This one seems more poorly organized than my previous Aldi experience, with the food items scattered about the store on different aisles. The general merchandise was somewhat tossed about in the designated areas. I wouldn't say it was dirty, just disheveled, and didn't make the best impression. There was a lot of stocking going on for a Memorial Day afternoon with several shoppers in the store. Navigating the narrow aisles with stocking carts blocking the way became problematic. One shopper on a mobility scooter had to ask staff for help getting to items blocked by the stocking carts. I found what I needed here--more than I wanted, and at generally good prices. I couldn't shop perishables due to distance from home, so I can't comment on those items. I found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful, but there aren't many opportunities for interaction in this mostly self-service grocery. All-in-all, glad I stopped here, but I probably won't do it again because there are locations closer to me that make more sense. This time it just happened to be on my route, so I took advantage of the opportunity.

This allows them to save money and pay their employees more. You also need a quarter for a shopping cart which you get back when you return it. This saves on labor as well. The prices are great. If you see something you like grab it because it may be gone the next time you're in. We love Britney. She's such a friendly cashier. Aldi it great, especially if you know what to expect.
