I don't know what is going on with the Walmart meat section! I got a package of chicken with the 2 inside , well folks I put it in the kart and a horrible odor started coming from my kart folks like something died !!!! Got to the register and my daughter said that's the bad odor mom it's the chicken! I called the lady and she said okay your not taking it then walked away, I called her back and told her don't you smell that ? She did not want to get close ! The other associate grabbed the package and said omg that smells like something died !! The next day my hubby bought some chorizo and it was sour and smelled funky. DO NOT PURCHASE CELL PHONES AT WALMART. They sell cell phones that don't work I tried for three weeks through Tracfone; the section that stores the phone number is non-existing in this phone and now they won't take back the non-working phone. if SAM WALMART could see what a rip-off the store he started is, he would be disappointed. I called Walmart to file a complaint and the jerk transferred me to Tracfone which was unable to help me, and I told him that. Walmart is the worst store no customer service can't find anyone to help you when you are in the store. At least they are the only store there are other stores to shop at. Honestly, how does this place stay in business?? No wonder Amazon is beating this place silly. 1st good luck on getting anyone to answer the phone, 2nd it'll be a miracle if the specific department answers their phone, you can barely find anyone to help you, when you do it seems to be an aggravation for them to help you (rarely will we find a helpful smiling associate). God knows you can't trust their automotive department doing what they say they will do (full oil change with all fluids filled-caught them multiple times not filling washer fluid, leaving oil cap off, not filling other fluids, not opening up on time, breaking plastic hub wheel cap, etc). We bring our own oil, every time it's a challenge for the price to be constant; depends on who is on register, what frustrations headaches n stress!! No consistency in much of anything. Cashiers are usually slow, I even tried picking shortest line, don't!! It usually ends up being the longest for some freaky reason. read more

I drove 30 miles to get a Heineken refrigerator keg that was a surprise for my family member who was visiting us from Germany and was told by the manager they were in stock only to go in and find none on the shelf no one to help and no Gift as well as the 60 miles in wasted gas. I am not a fan of self-checkout lanes, I prefer people to have jobs, question software piracy on the platform, believe also a risk prevention loss catalyst, there were no lanes open with people manning them. The customer service in this particular Walmart is beyond bad--the worst I've experienced. Just this afternoon, I was waiting in line for the next self-checkout. Three of them were being used, and a Walmart employee named Yolanda was working on the fourth one. When she was done she looked my way (as I stood next in line), and didn't say anything. She seemed to be more concerned with replenishing the plastic bags at one of the other checkouts. Anyway, the green light was not on so I figured that one was not working. I thought to myself, "Surely she would signal me if it was working," but she didn't so I continued to wait for another one to open. As I waited, a young man got in line behind me. He waited about 15 seconds, and then went around me to the self-checkout that Yolanda had just been working on. He started checking out with no problem so clearly it was working. I was peeved that Yolanda had not motioned to me that it was working, and I was more peeved to see that the young man who cut in front of me was another Walmart employee!! I guess he felt that he was off duty so he didn't have to follow the rules of common decency, but he had his vest draped over his shoulder for all to see that he worked at Walmart. The next open checkout was the one next to him, and I leaned over and said he should not cut in front of people. He was shocked that I said anything, and all he could do was stammer. I reminded him that he represented the store, and he should try to be a positive representation. In any case, shame on him, and shame on Walmart for not teaching their ignorant employees the basics of customer care. Overall, I have seen time and again that the employees in this Walmart have ABSOLUTELY NO regard for the customer, and I think it must have something to do with the management of that store. If there was another store around to shop at, I would never step foot in that Walmart again. Most of the time I go to the HEB a few miles away just to avoid this store, but sometimes I'm in a hurry. This is the worst, most disorganized, clusterf**k, of a Walmart that I've ever been to. I am not sure what gives, but these people really need to get it together and make their store more cohesive and manageable. Random things that don't go together were mishmashed and it was just awkward and awful. At least they had self check out. That's the only thing worth one star about this place. Nuff said. read more

Walmart is a well known chain store that has everything from groceries to tires. You can always find a great deal on everyday items low prices on numerous items. What you can't find at this store is any form of CUSTOMER SERVICE! Yes they have low prices,great deals, anything that you need you can find in the store except for someone to help find items or someone to run the checkout. 20 or more checkout lanes and maybe if your lucky during the busy time of the day you might be lucky enough to find 2-3 open . If you can't self checkout you will stand in line forever and wait for one of the. "I don't give a crap checkers" to slowly work the register. The self checkout if you are lucky you can scan maybe two items before it tells you to "place item in bag" which you have already done and then the person watching the 8 self checkouts stops talking long enough to come over push a button and you can continue to scan a few more items before it tells you the same thing. You get to the point you want to throw everything in the bag and hope everything breaks. Walmart was at one time a Superstore. Now it is Super pain in the rear and I find it unbearable when I have to go there. Everyone I speak with HATES to go to this Walmart. It is a crying shame a place that could be a great place either refused to look for good help or just plan does not care for their customers. read more

This Walmart like many others have had their customer service fall apart since the employees got a raise.The smiles are gone but the I am better than the customer has come to prevail. Chrildren run wild in the stores. I used to shop at this one and two other stores the same problems prevail. In one case I couldn't find an item and a clerck came by tthat did not work in that dept. so she called a clerk ans asked him to come over where we were. I could see him from where I stood He looked at me and promptly went into the stock room and I waited 10 mins and left. It seems like customers are not welcome in Walmart stores anymore. I needed to get tires and called ahead to find out the time frame of coming in. The MANAGER of the department told me that if I came right now, there was about an hour wait. I was literally there in five minutes. I checked in at 10:41AM. My car was not complete until 3:00!! I spoke with several attendants throughout this time frame and was told once there was only one ahead of me and once that they had the tires on, but it was taking a long time to balance. When my vehicle was finally done, I went out to my car and they put the new tires on the read of the car when I specifically told them and it was on my order, that I wanted to two front tires replaced. My car is a two-wheel drive, I'm not an idiot. No one even asked me if that was what I wanted... I went back into the store and asked to see the manager. I waited another 20 minutes for him not to show. Left so upset with the service department. I always go to Walmart and usually have a great experience. I WILL NOT return to the Calallen store again. read more

i was just in walmart and they had 2 lanes open in the whole store for regular check out. the rest were scan and go. most senior citizens, handicapped and others don't want to bag their own groceries, much less have to scan everything. you can't give a check at these lanes and i don't want to use a credit or debit card. it has made me feel that i never want to go shop there again. i hope other people will let them know your feelings about this if you agree. read more
