Let's be realistic. Walmart is Walmart. This rating is not levied against another store but is rated against all the Walmarts I've ever been in. This one is highly organized, the staff are professional and friendly, and I usually get what I need 98% of the time. Yes they do rotate stock too often. I'll get used to something I like and then it disappears; but, that's what they do. They opened up a Dollar General nearby and Walmart still saves me money despite the ten mile trip. If they don't have what I need I'll order it from Amazon or go to Tulsa. read more

Thankfully, the Checotah Walmart had what I was looking for this evening. After my husband got off work we headed over to pick up what was on my list, and headed home. This Walmart has been a real blessing, when ours in Muskogee fails the task of not having it in stock.(which honestly is often). This trip included 2 flats of pint jars, a shopping cart for hauling stuff around, 3 vegan-gluten-dairy free snacks for home and travel. The fact that I'm a grown adult and the cashier wouldn't let me buy alcohol because I had a child with me is absurd. Will definitely be making a formal complaint to the store. This is why I hate shopping at Walmart. Never had a problem anywhere else. Beyond ridiculous. read more

I called to confirm I could do curbside pickup of a tv if I bought and paid online for their store. Due to Coronavirus and my being high risk, I couldn't justify going inside to shop for tv. I was told I could do so and just call them at curbside and call to get staff to bring it out. When I did so, no one could even locate my order and it was taking a long time. Finally, I was told they didn't have the tv in stock. Along cane Stacy. What a GREAT employee! She understood my situation and she figured it out for me! She instructed me how to cancel the order and she personally went inside and shopped a tv for me! I told her basically what I needed and what I could spend and, bless her heart, she brought me out a tv, took my payment right there, complete w social distance AND CLOROX WIPES! What a jewel and it made me almost cry just feeling thankful for her help and kindness. So, Walmart Checotah, STACY NEEDS A PROMOTION! Thank you, Stacy! This place has been the worst place for me to visit in the past 4 years straight. I've had many bad experiences there almost every time. we spend thousands of dollars there every week, and tonight, an employee actually stopped me at the door, and asked me if I was okay. I told him "yes. why?" He said that they had a report that someone seemed disoriented in the parking lot. I immediately asked him "Are you okay?" he answered yes. I swear upon everything holy... Automotive Center: I ordered tires online to be sent to Walmart Checotah, Ok. I got there and had to wait for the Automotive center to open at 7am but it took 10 extra minutes. Got in my tires were there 235/70/16 for my 2002 F-150 the factory size that the truck uses. At that point I was told there was no one there to mount the tires, then, a semi truck arrived and I was told I would have to wait until they unloaded it (my tires were already in the bay and had been for 3 days). After several back and forth's with the person at automotive we ended up talking to the manager and he told them to mount the tires the truck driver delivering stock would have to wait. The employees were visibly upset by this decision one of them even lied about much of what was said, fortunately we were standing there and pointed that out. The person who was suppose to mount the new tires came out and said the tires were the wrong size, and refused to mount them. I tried to tell him they were the correct size and it even said so in the manual for the truck (in the clove compartment) and on the door sticker. He refused to mount them, the department manager agreed with him. They offered a larger tire 255/75/16 that is an optional size but more expensive. I declined and demanded a refund. It was at that point I was told they had already removed my new spare from it's rim that was mounted on the front and the other front tire from the rim. I told them to put them back, after some debate on it they agreed. I went to find the store manager who at that point did not come to the service center but told the person there to issue a refund. Two hours wasted, gas wasted, and even though the were the right tires they refused to mount them to the truck. That's what happens when you make the workers mad. They wanted me to wait for a semi-truck to be unloaded instead of doing their job. 10 years of buying tires at Walmart comes to an end. read more

We normally drive there from a store in my area because it's cleaner. The last few times they have a woman at the door checking the receipt. That's fine as well when a nice person is on. I will not come back to this Walmart again or any Walmart for that matter. This woman was so ugly hateful rude she acted like were stealing. I showed her the receipt and started to leave and the alarm went off. I had bought a trail cam And the checker didn't deactivate the strip. She started running at us and some one from outside ran at us. This is redicilious because I have crippling arthritis and in screaming pain and can hardly walk and are being attacked from this abusive cow. She was screaming at the top of her lungs saying she won't loose her job because I steal. Which I did not and had the receipt. She does need to lose her job. My family spends 800 a month on food and then I do the shopping for my parents which is another 500 or so. Then we drive a few others. I won't drive them there. I am going to Reasor's in talaquah. I am tired of Walmart's abuse. I may not break them but I don't have to give them my hard earned money. read more
