When asked for further explanation, was basically insulted by implying that I couldn't use a smart phone. I will get an appointment somewhere else, but what about someone who really didn't have a smart phone. Does anyone really believe that they cannot help you schedule an appointment? How big is this company? I am fairly sure that our tax dollars are paying for the vaccines as well. Won't see any of my money ever again.

I know supplies can sometimes be limited and they can run out because of high demand, but it was THEIR idea that his health required a clean full face mask(large clear) and the accompanying blue gel insert monthly in order to keep bacteria down. The last 4 or even 5 months I get very apprehensive after no courtesy call so I call them. He is having corrective eyelid surgery THIS Wednesday and needs the two pieces. I had to contact the route man/delivery /service man for this area by text message and he VERY kindly said he would check into it for us, since he is a good and Godly Christian man.

I was hired at Kroger on Broadway June 16, 2016 as a Cashier. On July 9, 2016 they fired me because I could not push in shopping carts due to my physical limitations. I am happy to no longer be in a hostile work environment and working for a corporation that disregards Federal Laws. From the store manager down to the supervisors in HR and the front desk, they mislead the truth at the time of hiring and did not make reasonable modifications to my job description to accommodate my disability. By Federal law, they are required to do so to be in compliance with the Americans with Disability Act. http://disability.gov I would like to thank the customers that I met during my three weeks of employment for their kindness and the cashiers and baggers that gladly accepted me as one of their own. If you are feed up with large corporations making billions of dollars in profit and paying people minimum wage and charging higher prices than the Louisville stores while giving the CEO millions of dollars each year, please spread the word how badly the Broadway Kroger treat their employees and their customers. I have never worked for a company with such little regard to their customers. It's funny that their moto is "Fresh Food, Friendly Faces". This is not always the case. I actually tried to provide quality customer service but management doesn't care. They are more concerned with profit margins. In one case a lady purchased vine ripened tomatoes that were advertised for $1.28 according to the price sheet at my register. When I rang them up, the register showed $1.68 per pound so I had to contact a supervisor thinking the supervisor would make a price override. After the supervisor got involved, I was provided a new price sheet and the price of the tomatoes jumped to $2.19. Sadly, I had to charge the customer $2.19 per pound. Another case was when the coupon printer at Line 2 failed. Approximately 18 - 20 customers did not get the store coupons. The coupons are supposed to be one of the perks that Kroger provides to reduce your food bill. In both cases, management did not resolve the issue to benefit the customer.
