Pretty much a standard representative of the franchise; which we've shopped each time we have come to the area. The facility seemed reasonably well-maintained, with the usual large variety of items from which to choose. They had all the groceries, and other items, we needed for our Branson visit. Since we did a self-checkout, we had virtually no contact with any staff. All and all, a typical Walmart. read more

Memorial Day weekend. Big weekend for garden supplies but both registers are broken in the garden center. That tells me one was down and the store never made an effort to fix it. I joined Walmart plus and I don't have to go to the store anymore. Unless I want to. If I don't feel good they can bring RX to the car. Once a month I do go in because I like to pick out fruit , eggs and etc... The Branson West store is actually not that bad . I does get crowded weekends and summer when more people are visiting or before a big storm. A lot of people don't like self checkout but I am use to it now. Just ask for help. read more

Serious discrimination going down in this store! I'm a 36 yr old white female and I was targeted for shoplifting after 3 employees were circling me. I had two bottles of wine in my cart that they not only tried to double charge me for..... but proceeded to call me out for not scanning them correctly. These women need a damn good lesson on respect; treat others the way you wish to be treated! How dare you hire employees that target certain customers to abuse and attack!! I'm appalled at the lack of human respect and ignorance in this place. read more

If I could give a -100, I would. I'm by far the most perfect person, but self checkout has to go when you get accused of theft because their equipment is faulty. It's really hard to not scan 12 items, but because the persons handheld didn't show all twelve, I was apparently a thief and they needed to verify I had scanned everything. My line of work: Assistant Manager of a competitor company. If I'm not stupid enough to accuse people of stealing, what does that tell you about this company? It's time to get rid of the ideocracy. read more

I would give negative stars if I could. My daughter who is 21 came in with me to purchase some wine coolers. When she went to our for it, the cashier asked us all for our ID's because she didn't look 21. She was rude said she is just trying to keep her job. Then played like she spoke to a manager but came back within seconds. We are coming from out of state mind you. We will go to the Walmart out of our way be fore we come back to this one. Ok, I am a big fan of Wal-Mart. When I am out of town I search for them to cure some of my homesickness. I arrived in Branson for a week long training event for work. I had a choice between the Wal-Mart in Branson or Branson West. My hotel was super close to Branson West so that made my decision for me. That was a less than stellar decision. I walked into the Wal-Mart to find...THIS IS THE "PEOPLE OF WALMART" WALMART!!! I walked around and got lots of stares and "stink-eyes". I guess they could tell I wasn't "from around here". I bought a few things, including fresh strawberries, and got out. The strawberries were quite moldy...very disappointing. Oh well, it's Wal-Mart, it's not like they really care what I think anyway. The one in Branson is much better and friendlier. Take it from me. read more

I don't know why they call it a super center since it isn't a super center. They have limited selections on things. When you need something they don't have it. So, you end up going to Branson for items! They have tons of registers but only a few are open at a time and they are super slow! If you go there you had better make time to stand on line since that is what you will be doing! Just save yourself some time and go to Branson's Walmart on Branson Hills Pkwy! read more

If you want to get help at this Walmart..good luck because these people just don't care. I have had several problems here and there with this walmart and their unfriendly staff. My husband and I stopped by to get paint for our business and of course you have to track someone down, then we finally get ahold of a older gentleman to get help and of course he blew us off after he finished up with a customer. I was not rude at all. I own up to when I get mad for no reason but tonight I was not at all. I then decided after 15 minutes to go track a manager down and ask him to help, he was by the front door not doing anything and when I came up he asked me first if he could help me. So I start to leave thinking he is behind me and then 5 minutes later he started to head that way to help but by then I gave up and my husband was really irritated at that point and said screw it. Guess all start shopping for our business elsewhere. So I think they need better management to run that team. read more

Went to Automotive Department yesterday - what should have been an easy apply for credit - got approved - had work completed on my vehicle only to run into a huge snag in the system at checkout time. After several attempts to correct or find a way through the system - Asst Luke went above and beyond in Service Excellence (I know, I taught this class to cashiers years ago). I know my situation was a huge burden on the guys who were working in automotive department, but they were awesome and handled the issue with Service Excellence as well. Then today, I spoke with Mgr Tracy, who also just blew me away with Service Excellence. I am so impressed with this WalMart. You all deserve to be recognized for your Service Excellence. I was there today to pick up a prescription, but it had been sent to a different Walmart. The person I spoke to was awesome. She offered to transfer the prescription without any hesitation and said it would be ready in about 15-20 minutes. While wandering through the store we heard the announcement about getting a flu shot so we decided to do that. By the time my husband received his shot the prescription was ready. 1st time I've been in and out of a Walmart Pharmacy in less than 30 minutes (including my grocery items). I would definitely go here again. read more

Walmart is Walmart wherever you go. I have to laugh at the one review that said he bought "moldy" fruit...guess he forgot to look before he left and paranoid that anyone would be staring at him in particular. Both the Branson and Branson West stores are good, the people friendly and this is Branson area...why would anyone go there on purpose except for the same convience found anywhere else. The stores here do not try to compete with local stores like other hardware or grocers and other places. There is also a hugh new Walmart on the north side of Branson, one on 76 Strip, and one at Branson West (the smallest of the 3). read more

If you ever want to feel good about yourself this is the place to go. I am amazed at how bad this place is. They almost need a reward for it as this place is even below Walmart's "high" expectations. When I walked in, it looked like most of the workers were boycotting the dentist...and basic hygiene. I walked through and got some looks--maybe a local crowd hangs out here (with how bad this place stinks some parts literally I don't think that would be the case)? It's like #43 out of the thousands of Walmart's. Now as I passed an isle the liquor isle no less there was a broken watermelon on the floor and if that wasn't strange enough the employees were talking about how people were playing catch with it! Now we were also looking for lemonade we found the brand we were looking for but in the flavor vanilla cherry which I can safely say I have never seen before nor ever wanted to try and as for sprite (my favorite soft drink) there was some cheap knock off. As we finally left (and thank goodness for that) there was another boycott going on as my mother put it (we were on vacation) a boycott of bras. Never again my friends never again. Take the drive to Branson well worth it trust me. Really the song I would like to sing is "my eyes have the glory of the burning of this Walmart" if I want the and I thought regular Walmart service was bad if I were from out of town and enjoyed "quality" service other Walmart's offers I would avoid this place like the plague. read more
