Today, Troy couldn't figure out how to make my prescription cost correct and while I was waiting, Chevy opened the window and loudly proclaimed that I was going to have to pull around as if I had been defying previous commands. Hadnt been told to pull around prior. I'm not a Karen. I'm someone who needed her mental health meds and was yelled at instead of helped. no call back later in the evening to pick up my script. My wife has fond memories of the soda fountain in St. Marys WV so we check them out anytime we see one. Griffith and Feil did not disappoint. The young staff were friendly and told us all about the history. We both had Monte Cristo Sandwiches which were prepared perfectly, very tasty. Service was quick. Furthermore, This environment feels increasingly two-faced and toxic, which is a significant barrier to both staff morale and patient care; this facility desperately needs a culture of empathy. The management frequently speaks disparagingly of patients , coworkers, her own family and disregards legal privacy protections (HIPAA). It is sad to see such misery and lack of integrity in a place meant for healing. I sincerely hope for better days for the employees, their families, and patients here--everyone deserves to be treated with dignity and genuine care.
