Certain staff members refuse to shave the deli meats as requested, instead slicing them according to their preference. I suspect that this may not align with Foodfair's standard practices, as the sandwich spread has become excessively chunky. Due to these concerns, I have decided to discontinue my visits to the deli. Unfortunately, I have witnessed staff mistreating senior customers, which I believe is unacceptable. It is essential to recognize that customer satisfaction is crucial to the success of the business. I question whether the deli manager is aware of these issues and is allowing certain staff members to act with impunity.

This employee was on our behinds (to put it nicely) so we moved out of the way assuming he had to get to the backroom where there was a staff area. He had stood beside us for 2-3 minutes just watching us and then pretending to go through the floor panels. I understand staff must have precaution for customers stealing or causing issues as I've worked in retail for some years, but to be persistently behind customers and invading their space while they're just trying to shop and look around without any cause? When I got home and I as storing my cream, I ended up with two tubes that had been used as testers in the store! TWO! One was almost empty and the other well over half empty, not that it matters because I'm not using a disgusting tester tube of anything. This store is horrible. They have messed up two of my last three orders. I order online in an attempt to avoid this location, but it's the closest to me by far, so if items are out of stock online I don't have a choice.

My wife has fond memories of the soda fountain in St. Marys WV so we check them out anytime we see one. Griffith and Feil did not disappoint. The young staff were friendly and told us all about the history. We both had Monte Cristo Sandwiches which were prepared perfectly, very tasty. Service was quick. The only thing that would have made it perfect was if the young people working behind the counter had 1950's era starched white uniforms :-).
