My wife has fond memories of the soda fountain in St. Marys WV so we check them out anytime we see one. Griffith and Feil did not disappoint. The young staff were friendly and told us all about the history. We both had Monte Cristo Sandwiches which were prepared perfectly, very tasty. Service was quick. The only thing that would have made it perfect was if the young people working behind the counter had 1950's era starched white uniforms :-).

Getting in and over to this store is always challenging for me. Careful not to miss that first right turn by the Sam's gas pumps or you will have to go through the plaza at a snails pace or out and around and come in by the Lowe's side. Staff is friendly here. The main sign that tells the price of the fuel was on as well! Only the small sign on pumps gives an indication you are closed. YOU MUST GET THE ROAD TO READ IT. Why not leave the pumps on 24 hrs a day?? Worried you'll make money? There is no employee there during the day either! WHO's on meth there?

I stopped for paper towels, toilet paper, plastic cups, Cottonelle wipes, hand soap and some over the counter medication for my Mom. I was pleasantly surprised to find all the items on my list. They didn't have as big of a stock as I'm use to seeing in Sam's. However, considering the shortage of paper and other items I was impressed. They were handing out a paper towel and had cleaning solution for self buggy sanitation at the entrance. All the employees were in masks. I went later in the evening so it wasn't hard to social distance from other customers. I also picked up a rotisserie chicken, $4.98, a Marshall t-shirt on clearance, $4.94, a Marshall U cup set, $29.98, and a breakfast pastry assortment for $4.98, which we all enjoyed!

I changed from CVS to McMeans several months ago. They insured me that their prices were competitive and, until last month, seemed to be an accurate assertion. My med prices DOUBLED last month for no apparent reason. Additionally, they are not consistent with 'when' they fill your meds. My narcotic pain med typically can be filled 3-4 before the date it was filled the month before. This was the case for 3 of the last 5 months. The hours of operation are similar to that of a bank rather than a pharmacy. Closing at 5PM and closed on Sunday? Really? There attitudes, for the most part, are poor. The short haired female worker and bearded Pharmacist are the biggest culprits. I was fed up with all the aforementioned and changed to a chain pharmacy. I would suggest avoiding this McMeans altogether!
