A very friendly place to be, and as strange as this may sound... it's a fantastic place to get advice on local small businesses. The lady behind the counter (Bonnie, I think?) Helped me find my electrician, a photographer, and that animal removal company in my first yelp review. Small town folks know that word of mouth is a gift to be treasured. The food here is always fresh, and goes above and beyond most convenience store quick meals. I'm always amazed at how much cleaner it is than the other little store in the area. The guy who owns this place is incredibly approachable and has a wonderful working relationship with his employees. I've probably stopped in here 60+ times in the past couple years, on my way into Covington... stop in and try the French bread sandwiches, you won't regret it.

I love their catfish it's really good. This is the third time I've been here and gotten some fried catfish. I like that you can just get one little strip or 10 strips if you want. Sometimes they sell whole fried filets and sometimes they sell strips. I guess it depends on what day and what time of day you come at. I also think its cool that they sell fresh lemons in there too because I love to eat my fried catfish with lemon instead of tartar sauce. Besides cooked food they also have frozen meat like quail and rabbit. Cool convenient store that also has fresh food and frozen meat.

I can live with their ridiculously high prices and the fact that they have no more than two registers open at any given time. I can even live with the fact that most of their clearance boots are snow boots. I guess the decision to stock so many snow boots in a part of the state that only sees snow a couple times per decade was made by the same team of experts that decided to pass on the wifi.
