Within the last 3 months I have bought Great Value sour cream that is ROTTEN...there is no excuse for this inferior product.

Was very desperate so came by right at opening time. Had to open the doors myself (as did other customers) because the employees didn't activate the doors. Two of them were walking out into the parking lot as I went to go in and just closed the door behind them. I guess they are really hurting for employees to keep people like this on the payroll. I also visited one night and the only lanes open were self-checkout and even then many of the credit card readers don't work. I can't say I wasn't warned by just about everyone to not shop at this location, but if you are reading this then here is your warning! read more

At 8:00 am the bathroom was nasty, including the floor. This tells me that they didn't clean it God the day before or this morning. On the other hand the people were friendly, the V prices were correct, and the shelves were stocked. read more

HELP WANTED: FRONT END MANAGER! They obviously don't have one for Saturday evening on Coliseum! The cashier closed with 4 carts in line waiting, and never said boo to anyone. The place is hot and lines out in the clothes, and only the grocery side has cashiers! No manager of any kind to be found. And when you call, it rings to a beeping tone and hangs up. Had an appointment to change tires at 8 AM. Auto Center hours posted say opens at 8 AM. Waited ...815..nothing. I then went inside and asked what time the Auto Center opened and got such a dont give a sh!t attitude from a department manger who barely responded with the words "9". Jesus!, excuse me for asking. This review is of the Walmart in Pineville, on Military Highway. Despite the recent mandate that all customers and staff must be masked, almost 2/3 of the customers were not, and I saw no one approaching them to remind them it was necessary. About half the staff was wearing their masks either under their chins or with their noses exposed. Quite a few shelves were empty. It's just a mess, what with lack of product and staff who obviously doesn't care to follow any COVID rules. Last time I waste my money there. read more

Waited 20 minutes for an associate to help me and 3 other people buy personal hygiene items in the locked cabinets. We pressed the button in the isle to get help from an associate dozens of times. Asked for help from a few different employees but all they would do is say they will get us help or make an over page call. Eventually we all just gave up. Before leaving I went back a second time and pressed the help button but no one showed. Another person was also waiting for help this time. This was on Monday 12/7/20 at 9:30-10:30. Lots are things are locked up at this Walmart but getting someone to help you is nearly impossible. I saw many employees stocking shelves but no one helped us ... maybe they did not have a key. Shouldn't more than one employee have a key and be waiting to assist people? read more

If you've ever been to a Walmart in the South, then you already know what to expect. The area feels kind of poor, and this is probably the best shopping center within a large radius, although I wouldn't necessarily call it good. Still, the place got me everything I was looking for. I didn't have to shell out a ton of money to pay for my stuff, but I was very much looking forward to getting out of this place. I bought some hygiene items consisting of hand sanitizer, dental floss, Tylenol, and shaving cream. Perhaps the most interesting thing I saw here was their large array of Pokemon cards. I didn't know that many people played the game in Alexandria in 2015. Those cards along with a bunch of grocery carts apparently containing a ton of donated food are what most caught my attention about this place. I would come back here if I were in the area again, even if only because there's nowhere else to go. read more

There are 2 Wal-Marts in Alexandria ... THIS Walmart is the Ghetto one!! However, a Wal-Mart is a Wal-Mart and serves its purpose. The best time to come to this Wal-Mart is around 4:00 pm ... there will be NO long lines. The WORST time to come is after midnight, because there will be ONE line open and EVERY customer will be in that one line. There is also a Subway in this Wal-Mart. The workers are NEVER around to open the cologne locks, which is annoying. read more

Never been treated so rudely at a Walmart before. Item rang up different than it was listed on the shelf. When I told the cashier she didn't even try to help, just basically said I was wrong. I went back to the automotive department and purchased the item there. It once again rang up more than what was on the shelf. I took a pic of the shelf barcode and it matched the item description of what I had. The automotive manager gave it to me at the price listed on the shelf. When I went back up front with my picture to show the cashier at the self scanning checkouts she put her hand up and didn't even want me to talk to her. I was not rude. I just wanted to show her so they could fix it. I won't go back to this Walmart again! I can't believe they get paid to act like however they want. They don't care about the customer. She said she didn't have a way to call automotive to verify the price, I said then that's when you call a supervisor for assistance. She pretty much just turned away from me and said she didn't want to hear about it. read more

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. I was waiting at sporting goods for help for 45 minutes waiting, had 7 employees pass me and assure me it would only be a few more minutes. Come to find out the sporting good employee was busy stocking. Now correct me if I am wrong but what good does sticking do if the people can't buy it? Stopped in on our way through town and was less then impressed! Parking lot is full of trash, including a pair of used underwear. I know people are slobs but it was obvious some of the trash had been there for awhile. The store was relatively clean, but the self checkouts were filthy and my items wouldn't scan since the readers were so dirty. One of the items I tried to purchase wouldn't ring up and finally a manager decided it was because it wasn't in the system yet even though there was a whole shelf of them! My mom was with me in one of the rolling carts, first it didn't want to start and when it finally rolled it didn't want to stop. That wasn't too bad but the basket part zapped me with a strong discharge that made my arm still hurt 30 mins later and when I let the lady at the door know she said to take it to customer service since "Those are not my job so I don't care, I'm just the greeter." We will not be returning to this location on our travels! read more

Typical Walmart in the south - didn't expect much and considering I'm only in town for the weekend, I was able to get what I needed. The associates I passed walking through the store were rather friendly - considering I've been to Walmart stores where you could tell they hated their jobs by the lack of service. Dirty, will not answer the phone when you call to ask if they have the Merchandise that the website says they have. The store Manager should be fired for her piece of shit attitude!!!!! The employees at that store are Rude., stupid, cant speak english. I do not think the first person completed HS or at least english. Where to they find this level of incompetence, and they want a raise???? I would fire every last one especially the do called store manager. Seriously, do not go to this WalMart. Not only is it poorly run with ill trained management, it is also severely understaffed with associates who are not in the slightest qualified to do the jobs they are assigned to. The worst part of this store is the Tire and Lube department. None of the associates in this department have been to any sort of school to learn how to properly change oil and tires on vehicles. 4 bent rims and a missing hubcap later my car is undriveable, management is impossible to reach and never returns calls, and after two weeks of being unable to use my badly abused car Im finally getting a call back from WalMart Corporate Claims Center. Its been lots of stress and a huge headache and no one at the local store is interested in speaking to you when things go wrong. In fact, all I received from the TLE manager was a confused stare and giggles. For the sake of your vehicle and your sanity, go ANYWHERE else!!! read more
