The prior appointment was also canceled, albeit with an hours notice via voicemail. When i returned the following day at the new time i waited 45 minutes before being taken in to a room. Had to have my vitals taken 5 times before the "nurse'? decided to right them down since her lap top wasn't cooperating. This was followed by another 30 minute wait so i could speak with Jean for 10 minutes about my concerns with my medication before being ushered out as they had a full schedule. It appears to be understaffed as well as poorly scheduled and or managed.

It also seems strange to me that the receptionist who quit a few months ago was called to come back. Turnover in the one year I have been coming there is just not normal, especially since you had some of the best np's I've ever had and were more knowledgeable than most doctors that have treated my conditions. The website is out of date as most of the 5 star ratings were given to the chronic care np's that are no longer there and this location can't possibly live up to the definition that's online.

Extremely caring and compassionate. She doesn't just pass out pills to treat side effects she wants to get to the root of the issue and fix it. It's great having a Dr rooting for you and listening to you. You're treated like the individual you are. I drive 15 minutes to see her and it's worth every second of the drive. Excellent nurses as well. Lots of hand washing and cleaning rooms between patients. It may look like a small town Dr office but, they are very professional and knowledgeable.

She is still currently in the ER waiting for admission 29 hours later. Diagnosed with a UTI and dehydration- something that could be easily remedied at Olean Medical Group. Instead, she sat in a chair for over 15 hours with spinal stenosis and severe back problems. This is completely unacceptable- how can a provider only see WELL patients. She was not an infection risk. This is abhorrent.

The waiting…read moreroom is small but comfortable, perfect for the steady stream of patients here to receive the expert care of the Doctor and his staff. They always try to work you in if you're running late, and are quick to call if an earlier appointment comes available for you. Dr. Carl himself is attentive and eager to help, explaining everything fully to his patients. You're always treated like an important part of your care here, and he engages you in the decision making regarding how to proceed. This is a wonderful and sadly rare trait in a physician, and is one of the major reasons I keep coming back to him.
