This Harris Teeter is the closest grocery store to where I live. I have to admit, my first shopping trip to this store was only because I used to shop at Harris Teeter in Greenville, NC when I was going to college. After shopping their twice I signed up for their e-VIC card to save a few dimes on filling up my car only to discover the nearest BP was on Atlantic Beach or Newport. No big deal, I used to drive miles to fill up my car up north. So I have been shopping at this store for while. What I have notice is the employees of the store are very helpful. Also, where I could spend thirty minutes or more waiting in line to check out up north, employees of this store work diligently to make check out quick and painless even to the point of accepting an old man telling them how to bag his groceries. They will open up a new register quickly. And I have never had to wait long to be checked out. And they make every effort to have someone bag as well speeding up the process. To be honest, I haven't seen this level of service since I was a child.

They told us that the antibiotics would be ready in 10 minutes and then closed the pharmacy without bothering to call us. At 7:05 they FINALLY got it after another employee forced them to. The man in the window had the audacity to hold up seven fingers to us saying they closed at seven. It was only 7:05. Should've shown him one finger to his seven. It is so hard to get refills on medication or any medication period. The people working the pharmacy are very lazy.

Drive all the way there to pick up a prescription and as I'm waiting in line the pharmacist and a tech yell out that they are closed for lunch - this at 1:40pm - and that they will be back at 2:40 pm. No signs posted - just a verbal "we are closed". Since I did not need to shop for one hour, it was a wasted trip and now will have to go back. A pharmacy of this size needs to be open all day. Will move my business elsewhere.
