Also it would be a nice respite from the heat stepping in somewhere that had the AC running. This CVS is situated on a busy intersection on Route 30 in Latrobe. It actually sits on the corner of what used to be a drive in theater. We all remember when that drive in had on their sign "We did not sale to Target." Instead, they had this corner go to CVS. Although CVS does not take a lot of room on the lot, they made it a decent sized store with a pharmacy drive thru. Inside the store is well organized and clean. Allowing you to find exactly what you need and make your way on your day. I did browse a bit while in here just to see if there was anything I might need and didn't have in mind. After I browsed, grabbed what I needed, and had enough of the comforting AC, I made my way to the registers. I had a bit of a wait, because out of the number of registers they had, they only had one register open. Once the line started to be moving, it was smooth sailing.

But my mother gets her prescriptions here and sometimes I pick them up. Sometimes I have to talk to the pharmacists. I've never had a problem here... everybody's helpful, friendly and patience. As far as the ladies in the front of the store? I see them all the time. In fact, they've taken my business from everybody else. This is an excellent store. I actually feel fairly comfortable going here. And trust me... I do not like going to the store. The lighting is horrible though. That's true. It's only place that's worse than Wallgreens. I'm in and out pretty quickly. But then again, the whole world has gone flickering fluorescent or LED.

I came here because these allergies were kicking my butt. So much so that I started to feel the…read moresinus problems coming on. Knowing what I needed I headed towards the pharmacy. But prior to that I had to grab the card for the medication I needed off the shelf and then go to the pharmacy counter, an unneeded step in the process if you ask me. For this visit, it was definitely a very unneeded step for me. The card I took with me, they just happened to be out of, however they did have the off brand, which I was fine with. I do have to say that the guy working the pharmacy counter did at least attempt to make it right. Most people would have been over it and just told me they did not have it. He did look over everything they had back there that was similar and let me know what was the case. Saving me from having to back to the aisle and look over the cards for all the other medications. I did not go through the rest of the store, but I could tell that this was set up just like all the other ones out there. The access to the lot is a bit wonky so do be careful when entering/exiting the lot.

Anytime you go past the pharmacy you will see about 5 to 10 elderly people who have been waiting in…read moreline for over 10 minutes just to hear that their script will not be ready until the next day. The staff doesn't seem to enjoy their job. Maybe that's because their computers seem to always crash and the tech guy you often see showing the ladies behind the counter how to fix it are very unprofessional. I witnessed a man yelling at the older lady behind the counter because she was having issues trying to figure out how to work it. There are many other chain pharmacies around that actually care to know you and make sure they have what you came for without making you wait.

Their service dept is piss poor, unqualified frauds trying to make a buck. Broke my oil plug and suggested I go to a full service garage and i did and they informed me Walmart used the wrong tool which is how it broke so i tried to call and speak to a manager and she started screaming at me telling me she knew better then the garage I was told to go to. Called corporate and they paid for it to be corrected despite what the store manager said. Only take your vehicle here if you don't wanna see it anymore or if you just have money to throw away. They should fire and re start the department completely so no one else gets stuck with paying for damage they didn't do.
