I wish the long line of people standing in the same lines would write reviews so people wouldn't assume it will take less time than Walmart. I changed over thinking I would save time from the long lines. No such luck. The worst part? Prices of regular products you buy for 30, 40, 50 percent less at Walmart. So now you have to go to 2 stores anyway or grossly over pay for them. Mouthwash, Shampoo, hairspray are all over priced. Reward points? A joke. They finally changed the system, but too late for me. Spending 3.00 there for a 1.09 item at Walmart is not worth the 06. cents on a rewards card or standing in long lines. The photo department is a joke. Online order placed, total was 9.00 I went into the store and the total was almost double. They printed the order twice and unless I wanted them to have my personal family photo's, I had to pay. No apologies or even a shoulder shrug. Did I mention having to wait for someone to come to the photo counter? The young man was stocking shelves, seen I was waiting and blew me off for 15 minutes. Nice customer service Walgreen's. I guess I can't blame him, I am sure he isn't making very much to stock, crank out photo's and wait on people. I filled out a customer service survey and not a call, email or anything to apologize for my experiences at their store. Bottom line? If saving money matters to you, spend the few extra minutes and go to Walmart. Yes they are slow, etc. However when you buy a cheap bottle of shampoo and save a few bucks on each and every item in your cart it bothers you a whole lot less.

My normal everyday meds, I have to give them at least a couple days to have those ready. Their drive thru sucks, having to stretch to reach more than one touch screen from your car, then electronic sign, left handed because the dominent right hand is toward the inside middle of the car, let alone having to stick your bare hand outside the car in the cold below zero winter to operate the touch screens (screen won't register with gloves on). Or in summer, sun so bright makes screen black and can't see anything! In addition, they make you key in your birthdate on this screen yet ask you to verbally give your name, as if you could not do ALL of this verbally!!! It's all ridiculous!!! Then if you say ANYTHING at all to complain about this, they cop attitudes, belittle you, retaliate against you by messing around with your prescription orders, they get hostile and purposely start giving you a hard time in subtle ways everytime you do business with them. They also black list you for making any complaints of this treatment, call your house to harass and threaten you that they basically kicked you out. Then because you refuse to feed into their power trip, choosing not to answer their calls, after telling them you no longer wish to speak to them and you found a new pharmacy...after this they call and threaten that if you don't call them back or answer that they will send your medical information to another pharmacy that you did not choose nor give consent to. But this is how unprofessional, intentionally intimidating they are just because they can't stand to be told by a customer that they are doing anything wrong! Any discrepancies with this pharmacy people, I advice you to start reporting them to any and all government agencies that protect consumer/patient civil rights. It's the only way to stop this behavior....that and DON'T do business with them! They won't have a business left to run when they lose profits due to lost consumer dollar votes!!!

The billings should be first forwarded to Medicare and then to our insurance. Somehow CVS could not get this right even though the computer showed that the prescription should be zero cost to us. For the last year we have been billed by CVS for our insurance company's portion. In spite of many phone calls and visits to the pharmacy, it was never straightened out. During one visit to the pharmacy, my wife was told they couldn't straighten it out and that my wife should call the corporate office. We found a better solution. We switched pharmacies.

I went to pick up a medication recently, and the woman said it wasn't ready but would be in 15 minutes. Fine. I came back half an hour later, and she said, "You can't get that refiled until tomorrow." When I gently pointed out that she'd told me to come back to get it earlier, mostly trying to figure out which of her two responses was actually correct, she just shrugged and stared at me--no apology, no explanation, no actual kindness or service. I am VERY nice to people in customer-service positions, as I know they deal with jerks every day, so the rudeness was unnecessary. I have more of these stories, but I'll spare you. Also, I just sat on hold for 15 minutes at 7:30 p.m., and then someone picked up, grunted, and hung up on me. I always use the app/website, but on this rare occasion, I had to speak to someone. Fine, they're busy, but the automated hold message is straight out of hell. Perhaps they need to start accepting emails. If CVS still took our insurance, I'd switch over in a heartbeat.
