About 2 weeks ago, I phoned in an Rx renewal for my chronically ill dog. He has 4 Rxs that he needs…read moretwice daily. As one needed DVM approval, I called the DVM to phone in a renewal. Through a comedy of errors on everyone's part the Rx did not get filled. Fast forward to Saturday evening when the DVM is closed and I'm out of medicine. I called the CVS and was able to speak to an in-named male pharmacist who understood the severity of the situation and took whatever actions necessary to properly fill the Rx and made it possible for my dog to get his meds as required. GREAT JOB SIR. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR EXTRA EFFORT.

Obviously, the pharmacist didn't know, wasn't paying attention, I could care less, whether or not, he okayed a medication that could cause A-Fib! I asked if I could go ahead and leave my keys and car and before I could finish my question he flat out yelled and said NO! YOU CAN COME BACK AT 10! I was in a good mood until I interacted with him. At that point I decided I'd do my grocery shopping at Ingles and get my oil changed another day. Sorry if you're having a bad day, we all have them, but I don't take mine out on other people, especially at my work. Today was especially bad, because the person doing the check out was way out of sorts. There were two people in front of me and she was very slow with scanning each item, then she apparently knew the person she was waiting on , as they had a long conversation and she even took time to look at pictures on this person's phone, this is AFTER the person had paid for their order. She moved on to the next person in line and I noticed that person had to tell the employee that she needed to do push the button on her end so she could complete the payment. During this time, I was trying to get another associate's attention (the ones who walks the floor to make sure everything is moving smoothly) and she was busy have a personal conversation with someone she knew. When I finally got to the point of payment, I was waiting for the prompt on the payment scanner and it wasn't doing anything, so I looked up at her and she was ASLEEP. Eyes Closed. I had to speak to wake her up so she could push the prompt so I could finish paying. There was no one in customer service as I was leaving and because this had taken so long, I had to leave for other errands. So I called the store at least 5 different times; no one picks up, no matter which extension I called nor how many times I let it wring (up to 20 before it says to call back). This is only today's experience. I've had the check out people tell me they were closed after I had put all my groceries on the conveyor belt. I've had an employee tell me that it's store policy to leave all the heavy stuff in the cart (like they do at costco) but there are no signs posted. The stocking staff acts like the consumer is in the way and I even had two different stockers who blocked me from going down the aisle and when I asked if I could get by, I was treated to the ol stink eye. The Walmart in Blue Ridge and Murphy NC don't provide these unique experiences. They seem to care , they smile, they are fast and pleasant. I can only hope my call to Corporate actually makes a difference.

They take Tricare which is the DOD insurance, which I was so glad. I pulled up to what looked like a boutique shop and it was actually the pharmacy. It's clean and very modern. After attention brought to the Walgreens in Murphy NC about hiring personnel without GED or HD…read more They allowed this employee to have a pharmacy technician license. The manager, Vanessa at this time took the online test so this employee could pass. Same employee used her phone number to collect any points that were given to myself. This was something I didn't know. I went to pickup a script and they said this is the phone # on the account. I didn't use my # or collect points. They tried to charge me $138 dollars for a $24 dollar script after telling me I could no longer shop there. I had to laugh at myself for not changing Pharmacys months before. I had stopped filling any script there but never changed it at my Dr's office. I ask the young lady to remove the charge as I didn't trust it was being filled by a licensed person, she explained someone else would take care of it. No one there was capable of doing it at the time. Instead of making a big deal of it, I walked to the front of the store and ask for T.F. the manager. She stated I was no longer allowed inside the store but I could use the drive through. She stated, I saw your questions you sent to corporate and you are not allowed here anymore. It was a legitimate question. I feel she was covering for her friend and I understand her dilemma. It's hard to find a qualified person to work for so little money.
