Poor customer service, although irritating, remains tolerable. Harassment, however, crosses a very…read moreidentifiable line. When the owner makes a grown man break down in tears, something must be done. This business is ran with absolutrly zero regards to business ethics. The store owner sold me a defective gas can and refused to exchange it or return it an hour and a half after purchase and after gasoline leaked all over my car. With no empathy or attempt to provide me with information to contact the manufacturer, the "man" continued to attack my intelligence and belittle me. He then recruited another customer to pick up to continue the harassment and began to wave the nearly empty gas canister in my face shouting at me and humiliating me. Never in my life have I cried in public, let alone because of a situation induced by the owner and manager of a local store. He asked me to leave the store and to call the Dothan police. As a current medical student and future physician, I vow to never treat a human being the way I was this afternoon. But that isn't enough, I will stop this man from ever treating a customer this was again. Texaco has been contacted and I am going to be in touch with regional management. I was targeted, humiliated, and was not treated like a human. We deserve better than this. I urge you to avoid this prejudiced business, even if you run out of gas. Our dollars are too hard earned to spend them somewhere that doesn't see us all as human.

I've noticed people opening them to get the new ones before they're outdated. As I type this mid-January, Halloween decorating magazines are still out, Christmas cooking and decor magazines still in boxes. One female staffer snapped at me for looking through open boxes of unshelved mags that "she's working on it!" This mystery worker was nowhere in sight. Why didn't the snapping staffer work on it instead of walking around biting at customers? On the plus side, there are probably a dozen different Harry Styles magazines everywhere and up at checkout counters so if you're into that silliness, you'll be pleased to know what they prioritize. Not a store for serious readers.

Gas pump worked fine, the receipt printer worked and there was no trash on the ground. I did not have a need to go into the store today. This Circle K is located on the corner of a busy highway at an intersection with a traffic light. It's easy enough to access and then because of the light, easy to get back and headed southbound.
