I stopped by and Thuy was super helpful. She told me about the varieties of mango that she had. I let her know I wanted sweet juicy ones. She picked up a handful of mangos for me. She labeled them and she wrote down which ones I can eat in order of when they would be ready. She let me know mangos should be stored in room temperature until they are ripe. She grows the mango trees here as well as many other tropical fruits. She also sells coffee, drinks, and mango bread and muffins and other fruits that are available. She posts availability on Wednesdays and people can get the best pick then. She also meets people in Land O Lakes for orders which is nice and convenient for me. Glad I was able to check it out. It's a nice spacious barn with seating and there were baskets of mangos that are labeled and flower arrangements and other goodies that she had. Great service and excited for fresh local grown mangos!

Currently sugar apples, soursop, and chimoya are in season so we got some of each to try. Owner was so helpful and friendly. She explained everything, how to tell if ripe, etc. Outside they have trees you can purchase. We bought a mango tree and they did a great job explaining what was needed and helping to package and secure for the ride home. Do not miss out on the drinks and desserts. We got the mango ice cream. Homemade and so delicious. You could really taste the farm mango. Not your commercial ice cream. A great way to end our trip to the farm. They have 40 varieties of mangos and so many other tropical fruits. Cannot wait to go back and try more throughout the year.

I met the owners very welcoming mother outside and she ushered me in and gave me a tour. Road to Eden sells plants, containers, soil, mulch, tools, fertilizer, and accessories. They even sell live rabbits and quails. It looks like it was a former house and the rooms are invitingly set up with house plants, gifts, a fish pond, and a complimentary coffee station. I especially loved the $3 fairy pots and the $5 succulents. In the front of the house are adorable scarecrows and hay bales that would make a great photo opportunity for pictures. Road to Eden just opened and is a wonderful addition to Frostproof. They plan on adding events soon. In the back yard where I chatted with the lovely owner are larger outdoor plants for sale. You can get really personalized attention here and have all your plant questions answered. I loved my visit to this family owned business. Come check them out and support them.

What's not luck, but a blessing, is that really ladies that run this store are on point. Friendly, helpful and friendly! This is always a highlight, especially in today's world. Everyone here is super helpful and very friendly. This isn't a place where you wander the aisles - they ask you what you need, then take you there to look at your options. Prices are generally a little higher than the mega home improvement stores, but Ace gets my business for their consistent helpfulness and also going to Lowe's is a nightmare experience that I avoid as much as possible. Ammo prices are decent if you're looking for a deal.

Terrible service from the manager, Katrina. I went to the store to buy a motor for my pressure…read morewasher. There was a display model, but it was mounted flush against the wall, which prevented me from seeing the back side of the motor--specifically, where I needed to measure the bolt spacing. This information was neither visible on the box nor obtainable unless the motor was unfastened from the display mount. I explained this to Katrina, the manager, but she informed me that she could not unfasten the motor from the display, nor could she open the box of another motor in the store to verify that it was the correct part. I asked her, "What option do I have?" She replied, "Buy the motor; you can look at it once you've paid. If it turns out not to be the one you're looking for, you can return it, but we will deduct 20% of the purchase price." This meant I would be charged a fee--approximately $30--just for opening the box, even if I did so right in front of her; this amount would be deducted from my refund total. As a customer, having no option to actually inspect the item I was about to purchase--a policy I find completely illogical--I do not know whether this is a store-wide policy or a specific decision made by this particular manager. Regardless, I would not shop at--nor would I recommend--any place where, instead of facilitating your purchase, they go out of their way to complicate it.
