The service is ok in the Beauty section but not all the other places and the prices are good

This is for the Walmart Superstore in Campbell River, since Yelp doesn't seem to have it. Walmart Superstore is where you you go if you don't mind searching for 20 minutes to find one of the stunningly indifferent floor staff members who will grudgingly point in the general direction of what you're looking for but will absolutely not walk over there with you and help you pinpoint the item you are looking for. Eh, it was okay. Felt like any other Walmart. It lacks customer service and it's always hard to find someone to help you. The best part of this Walmart was that they had a small section of Vancouver souvenirs. They had towels, magnets, keychains, cards and shot glasses--pretty much the normal items you would see in a souvenir shop. Since it isn't a souvenir shop, there isn't much variety. A very nice store for grocery shopping and other stuff to buy and nice friendly staff and good customer service my only complaint is not enforcing the BC mask mandates which is not good during the COVID-19 pandemic. But otherwise things are all good. read more

This store is realy mediocre. Finding people is to help locating items is in fact harder than finding items yourself. But I got to say, once I found one of them humans, they have all been very kind and helpfull, ... well, except in the electronic department where they appear to be totally incompetent (technically) as a rule (must be a criteria to be recruted there). The food department is a bit of a disaster. Produces quality is on the low side. I got really sick once with one of their pre-cooked BBQ chickens. Makes me doubt they are carefully following sanitary procedures. Their Web site is another mess. For instance, suppose you find an item there and you want to add it to your list for now. Well, bad luck because there is no button "Add to list", only an "Add to cart" on the item description page. So... you go to your list instead, open it and fill the stupid special form to add things to it and re-search the previously found item. But that does not work either most of the time regardless of what you enter in the search field (name of item, SKU, UPC, ...). Don't know who designed this site but he/she must be a real genius. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only .. otherwise I've had totally average experiences at this Walmart and have no complaints but the pharmacy was amazingly incompetent and unhelpful .. I had just come from the Walmart walk-in clinic which was a totally reasonable experience and thought it would be easy to fill a prescription at their pharmacy. I waked over and handed in my paper work and the clerk told me 1 hour for it to be filled. I came back in an hour and a quarter and was told another 10 minutes or so .. no biggie .. I added my Greenshield information and then waited another 20 minutes and asked again at which point the clerk said it was still in progress and they weren't sure when it would be ready and it was because my prescription had come in by fax (?!) Another 15 minutes later I was called up and given a price but they hadn't entered my Greenshield info. At this point the clerk told me they couldn't process my insurance without more information so I took my prescription back and left and went to a Pharmasave where they had me out the door in 10 minutes and we're super friendly and helpful. read more

Dropped 1000$ on Xmas shopping and you might expect just a little customer Sevice just a little, but no none at all in fact while purchasing a computer monitor for my son we were treated like such shit I almost jumped the counter to smack the little f$&ker behind it that was to busy to help us?? Then told us he didn't work there (wearing a Walmart black shirt). The fact that Walmart is so bad at training is just sickening to me, the little boy must of been 17 made a co worker that wasn't trained (obviously) to deal with our transaction (she was very nice and did her best to help) even she asked for help with the magnetic security device and he didn't even acknowledge her request. This isn't except able at anytime of year let alone when family's are spending so much hard earned money at there store. I looked all over for a manager but they must of been out back getting stoned or something. Well never spend a penny at this Walmart again. This all happened Dec 14/18 at at 8:00pm in case anybody wants to fallow up with this shift shit head. read more
