I went to this Walmart Auto Care center to replace two tires that had worn down and had bald spots on them. I had been told that Walmart auto centers don't provide the best service out there, but I was in a pinch and wanted something to get me by for now. Prior to going to the Auto Care center, my dad marked the front tires that we wanted to keep with chalk. Upon arrival, I was very rudely greeted by an associate, Meeka. She clearly did not want to be there and acted as if I was bothering her. She argued with me about the placement of my new tires. Due to her arguing with me and overall bad attitude, she caused a miscommunication that resulted in the mechanics putting my tires on wrong. I even went home and realized they kept the tires marked with chalk, and the tires with the bald spots were still on my car. I had to come back on a different day and have them fix it. Once they were done, it came to my attention that my stud on one of my tires was completely broken. The mechanic informed me that a different mechanic had broken it on my last visit and they were suppose to have already informed me of the damage that day. I had to get a quote from the dealership a few days later. The dealership told me that Walmart mechanics damage people's vehicle all the time. Additionally, I had a Walmart associate tell me that they have to file claims all the time. Walmart did compensate me for the repairs. It was a horrible experience. Anyone considering getting any work done here, please reconsider. read more
