We limped in, and the technicians took over right away. In a short amount of time, to our enormous relief, the tire was repaired, The technical staff were friendly, helpful and very competent. She was welcoming, personable, and kind. My tire looked a little low and I was going in to a 300-mile drive, so I wanted it to get checked. She told me to pull around to bay number one and they would take care of it. When I got there, my brakes were super squeaky. (They have been this way since day 1 but Dodge maintains there is nothing wrong with them.) The guy asked me what was up with my brakes. I told him that 2 different Dodge dealers said there was nothing with them. He said maybe not, but there are things that could be done (they are super squeaky and super embarrassing). He explained a couple of things and told me to bring it back sometime and they could look at it for me. This is out of town for me, so I probably wouldn't bring it back to this Les Schwab to get checked, but appreciate the time, information, and the offer. He pumped up my tires on one side, while another guy did the other side, and sent me safely on my way.

Their technician did a fantastic, thorough diagnosis which included pressurizing the system with a fluorescent dye AND soap testing all joints in the system while it was under pressure. The problem was one flex hose part in my system. Unfortunately, it was going to take too many days to get the part, as it was not available - even in Boise. I had a deadline to be in Jackson Hole before the part could be purchased. The cost of this diagnosis was very reasonable. I ended having Jackson Hole Motor Werks complete the repair with the part identified by these people. The air conditioner system on my Sprinter is now working totally within specifications more than a month and many hot miles later. Huge Thanks for your fine work ! ! ! ! If I could give more that 5 stars I would.

We had phoned the dealership prior to the tow truck arriving and found them very friendly and willing to resolve our problem. The very next work day I went to the service advisors and found them to be very professional and friendly. Traveling outside of our home area and having to seek automotive help is scary as you don't know if the repair facility is honest and will not take advantage of your situation. This was not the case with Mountain Home Auto Ranch, I very quickly realized that these folks were HONEST and TRUSTWORTHY. There was no monkey-business whatsoever. They told me they would start working on my truck right away and they did just that. By mid-afternoon I had my truck back in 100% working order at a very fair and reasonable cost. If I lived in this area would gladly take any of my vehicles to this place for service.

The driver was very helpful in finding us a place to stay for the evening, he drove us, our stuff, car, and dogs there and helped us carry our stuff to the room. He took our car himself to drop off at Hawley's, and when he couldn't find a key deposit box- brought the key back to us at the motel. Shorty's provided us a good experience in what could have been a nightmare.
