After 3 failed attempts, I had at least 6 vehicles backed up. The gentleman directly behind me was kind enough to back up to let me out. We were sent to Valley View Repair from a recommendation from the motel we were staying at. The mechanic took time out of his busy schedule to diagnose the problem which was spot on. We mentioned that we were from out of town and did not even have a vehicle to use. They said that they were scheduled for the next week but were kind enough to fit us in the next day and even gave us a loaner car so we could enjoy the day in Amish country. It was repaired by mid afternoon and the repair bill was very reasonable. I would highly recommend this repair facility to anyone in the Berlin Ohio area. On four separate occasions, I have had Jam Auto Repair and the mechanics there solved and fixed…read moreproblems that were ignored by the local auto dealer who will remain unnamed. The first incident was a leakage from the radiator area, that was ignored at the dealership. It eventually grew to be a larger leak and by adding coolant I was able to drive my 2014 Town and Country front-wheel drive van with 150,000 miles less than 10 miles to the Jam Auto Repair shop. They found the leak after some routine pressurization tests and replaced the heater by pass tubing connector. The second incident is when Jeremy advised me that my rear brake calibers pads were worn to the point that further wear would damage the rotors - an expensive repair. The dealer had merely noted that the rear rotors had some rust! The third incident occurred on the road when the radiator expelled all the coolant a few miles from my home. In that case, I had the car towed to Jam Auto Repair. It turned out to be a loose radiator hose and the only folks up until that point that ever worked on that van were the auto dealer where I bought it! Needless to say, the van will always be repaired by Jeremy and his fellow mechanics in the future!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! my car needed a simple an oil change. They convinced me I needed a…read moreradiator flush and new filter. I took my car home and it sat the rest of the day. The next morning (Sunday), I tried driving it and had no heat. I started getting warnings about it overheating. I let it sit and had intentions of taking it the next morning back into Valvoline to let them have it for ruining my car. However, on the way home I started to slowly lose power and luckily was able to pull off the highway. It completely died and I had it towed to a local auto place in Wooster (where I wish I had taken it to for this oil change - Vans Auto). Who informed me that the engine was shot. I immediately contacted Valvoline and filed an investigation. They even went to Vans to talk with them. They call me back and said "you can not prove it was anything we did. It would have eventually happed anyway" I am 100% convinced their work was a result of all of this. I am furious. They are not making this right. I had just gotten new tires and brakes on this, not to mention them talking me into paying for these extra things. I am not in a position to buy a new vehicle and feel they need to make this right. Even the auto place I had it towed it to was too coincidental that the area that they were working in didn't cause this. After talking with friends and family they too have had issues after having their car serviced here. Do not take your car here. I went back because we didn't take the maintenance required off my car and they figured out how to do that and also check my air pressure in my tires because the light was on. Overall I give them 5+ stars!
