I have lived close to Wallpaper & Stuff for over a decade and decided to go in a couple months ago as I needed wallpaper for my new house addition and I am sad to say I will not be going back. I entered the store and I was the only customer in there. I was stared at upon entrance with absolutely no greeting. No one asked if I needed help, they just went back to what they were doing as if I was an annoyance or a bother to be in their store. I had to go ask for help and when I did they were short and acted as if it was a bother to pull samples. I left with my samples and returned them shortly after. My interior designer ended up going in and ordering the wallpaper for me and when I picked it up upon its arrival they were still rude and unwelcoming. No greeting, just stared at me when I walked in and I was, again, they only person in the whole store. While they have a good selection, but the customer service is horrible and they are not friendly. Really sad for such a small business that has been in Smyrna for so many years. I didn't have a good experience. I asked about few wallpaper rolls and I was interested in buying and wanted to confirm the price. The guy confirmed the price. Seconds later, as I approach the register, he immediately changed the price on me to be $50 more. I asked why. He started acting weird, blabbering, make all these hand gestures as he starts stating the paper I selected is this and that . He made absolutely no sense. I told him I don't understand what you are talking about. He started blabbering again. So, I said, are you trying to say you are changing the price of the wallpaper on me because you think it should be more? He started blabbering again and I decided to leave. Amazing experience! I was looking for a herringbone wallpaper for an accent wall in the master. The owner quickly greeted me and after showing him a picture from Pinterest, within about a minute he had several books pulled out and flipped to the pages showing exactly what I was looking for! Placed an order and Tim came out to install. Highly recommended, and Tim did a great job! They are booked 4-6 weeks out due to high demand with covid so don't expect anything to be installed in the near future. read more

You name it...they have it! Went here looking for wallpaper for a few projects in my home and their selection is over whelming! The staff was knowledgeable and friendly and even offered their personal opinions on some of my ideas. I ended up purchasing a textured wall paper for my powder room and couldn't be happier with the outcome! It looks terrific! They keep a lot of things in stock too, which was really nice, considering nowadays you have to wait for everything on back order. Such a nice place with an array of beautiful wallpaper. The selection mainly consist of high end stylish and contemporary styles. The store is a decent size and it was well organized. The wallpaper was arranged by style, price and closeouts. They also offer window treatments. I noticed curtain rods that were beautiful and unique. It's unfortunate the customer service isn't as great as the wall paper looks. They've been in business for quite some time with a large data base of customers. However ,attitude can break or make you. I'm speaking of the subpar custom service I received from one of the staff. I'm not sure if the two men were the owners or not, but only one guy was very nice. The other guy look as if he wished I would leave. Wayne, is the guy the took the time to show me around, he went beyond by introducing me to new products and he walked me out to the car with my purchase. read more

This is probably the second review I have ever written in my life but I feel like people need to know the experience I had with Wallpaper & Stuff. I first called Wallpaper & Stuff in May regarding wallpaper installation in my nursery. I initially went into the store to talk to Ryan so that he could tell me how many rolls of wallpaper I needed, pricing etc. They were very nice. I told him I was talking to one other person so I would get back to them asap. A few days later, I decided to go with Wallpaper & Stuff and called the store and once again spoke to Ryan. He set my installation date for end of August and Ryan informed me that it would take 2 days of work to install the wallpaper. He did NOT mention priming walls or anything - the understanding was that the 2 days of work were solely for wallpaper installation. Fast forward to a few weeks before my installation date - I went into the store to confirm all was good and while Ryan remembered who I was/our previous convo, he did not have anything written down in his calendar for my installation date. He claimed that he "had me in the calendar, he probably just forgot to add my information" whatever that means. That should have been my first red flag. Then comes the day of our installation. One of their employees show up to install and after looking at our walls he proceeds to basically tell us that our walls are complete crap and will need priming/buffing/etc. which will require two days of work. The employee told us that this happens ALL the time, where they will get to the house for installation, and the walls are just not ready - especially in Smyrna, where the houses are older. This was absolutely fine with me, and I stated over and over again we are okay with an extra two days and whatever price increase that may cause. The employee reiterated that he would talk to Ryan right after leaving our house and get us rescheduled. After the employee left, and we hadn't heard from Wallpaper and Stuff in a day, I called the store and Ryan proceeded to tell me he was working on rescheduling. Fine. I gave them a few more days, followed up, and was told the same thing. After about a week, I called again, left a voicemail, and no response. TO THIS DAY, I still haven't heard back from Wallpaper and Stuff. As I was due with my first born very soon, I think anyone can understand how stressful this was. I seriously have NEVER experienced this much unprofessionalism dealing with a business ever. I get it if they were low on employees and needed more time, but to NEVER call a customer back is extremely unprofessional - especially when they had been stringing us along since May. Also, based on what the employee told us about most walls not being ready for installation without priming, why would Wallpaper & Stuff not just go ahead and quote/prepare for extra days of work. Instead of assuming that two days would be enough - especially when the employee said this happens ALL the time. To make matters worse, after being ghosted by Wallpaper & Stuff, I obviously had to find another installer. The new person I used was responsive and installed our wallpaper in ONE DAY, including priming the wall, he did a fabulous job. Guess you don't need 4 days of work when you really know what you're doing. I hate to shame a small business, but I will never ever ever recommend this place to anyone after the way they handled the rescheduling. Worst experience ever. read more

These guys really know their stuff!! They are patient and ask all of the essential questions a NON wallpaper person needs to know so money is not wasted. I would recommend this store for so many things. If tour looking for warm, soft, and sweet faced-money makers this is not your place, but if you want precision, professionalism, and good prices- get your butt into this store!!!! I have mixed emotions about my experience with Wallpaper & Stuff. Wayne, one of the sales staff, was simply delightful. I called to book someone to hang paper that I had purchased elsewhere. I received a f quote and booked the service. The installer worked quickly (was in and out in 3 hours total) and did a very nice job. The problem, however, came when it was time for me to pay for the installation. My final price was over 36% higher than my quoted price! I ended up having to discuss this issue with the owner/designer, Rion. His attitude was rude and tone was condescending from the start. As it turned out, they misquoted me the number of rolls they would need to hang, even though I provided correct square footage and repeat measurements (which Rion confirmed). When I refused to pay for their mistake, Rion said it wasn't his mistake since he had never spoken to me before. You're the OWNER, take responsibility/accountability for the people who work for you! He confirmed where I could send a check for the quoted amount since that is all I will pay and hung up on me mid-sentence. It's a shame that Rion did not use this as an opportunity to turn the experience around and therefore turn me into a promoter for his business. I am really disappointed with this experience. This business came highly recommended by my parents, who have done business with this shop for almost 10 years. Unfortunately, we will both be taking our future wallpaper needs elsewhere. (The Sherwin Williams in Alpharetta has a very decent selection of papers and can also recommend installers.) read more

I had a bad experience with them. A friend refer me to this place bc she knew I was looking for special curtains for my bathroom window that is very wide. I walked in and the guy look at me and turn his head like he didn't want to help me. He notice I was looking at the display on the wall and I turn to him and ask if he any curtains that's already made to buy. His respond "we make custom curtains to order and you might want to go to Walmart to find what your looking for". I turn around and walk out the store. That "F*****" almost got his day number. U don't know who I'm am and money is the same as everybody else, and I will make sure to tell all know friends to never take a step in this store bc the treatment I received was so rude. read more

Rion and Wayne are tireless in their striving to make sure each customer goes away satisfied - with wallpaper they want and that they love. I have been a customer since the day I walked through the front door - a situation that did not change when I left the Atlanta area after 31 years and relocated to CA where there are virtually NO wallpaper stores. Now I try to find what I'm looking for online and then let the fellas know. . . .they pick up the ball and run with it - look for me, figure my wallpaper area, place my order and voila: it arrives in my mailbox! It is complete service - ably offered and kindly given. I LOVE this shop and would recommend it to anyone - first time wallpaper orderers to us seasoned veterans. Excellent workmanship done in minimal time. LOVE, love the work done in my bathroom by Julian!!!! Worth the wait. 4 stars instead of 5 only because of little snafu with them trying to charge me more for showing up a second time (first time they showed-up, they didn't do the work but instead told me that I needed an extra roll, even though I had told them how many rolls I had over the phone and I had my bathroom dimensions on hand during phone conversation). Also, I had to wait 3 weeks for first visit, and another 3 weeks for the 2nd visit! Still Ryan and Wayne at the office are nice and professional. read more

I am not happy with the service. I ordered wallpaper through them and they gave me a 'discounted' wallpaper installer-In retrospect I should've hired my own contractor or never used these guys. I thought it was a deal, otherwise I would've paid FULL price for the wallpaper and not at the discount they supposedly give you.) The job was quoted for 2-3days, it ended up taking 1 1/2 months to complete a 15x18 room. The wallpaper installer did terrible work of the houndstooth Ralph Lauren wallpaper I wanted to be hung below a chair rail. The seams were frayed and very noticeable and the paper looked saturated through in some parts. It was completely unacceptable. The store wanted to make it right- so they did not have me pay for more wallpaper (surprisingly) they purchased more so the same wallpaper guy could fix the problems. We ended up hanging the paper sideways (railroading it) which looks OK, but for the second round of it he didn't order 'enough' paper-so we waited on that for another week while our home office was upside down. All in all the job is substandard. I didn't ask for a discount- I just wanted to be done with them. I won't use them or recommend them to anyone. You get what you pay for. Sub-par work. read more

This is THE place to go for wallpaper. Not only is their selection great but their knowledge and counsel is spot on. I have purchased grasscloth here several times and love, love, love the look. Julian installed it each time and he did a wonderful job (no easy task with grasscloth).Working with Wayne and Ryan was a pleasure because they truly want their customers to be happy and bend over backwards to make that happen.
