I would seriously consider investigating any work done at their dealership. Completely PATHETIC. I had my car towed to Jim Taylor Chevrolet in Rayville after it broke down while we were traveling. We made it clear the vehicle had a new transmission recently installed by our hometown Chevy dealership as we were in shock that it was broken down. This was communicated the day we broke down and the FIRST Monday that the service department was called. To continue our family trip, I ended up buying a Tahoe from them and left my broken-down vehicle with their service department. Obviously they were happy to get a sale and we were told their service department is really good at reaching out to other Chevrolet service departments-as they continued to ask the name of our dealership just in case they had any questions on the previous work. The service department at Jim Taylor Chevrolet misdiagnosed the issue twice. The first time we drove 3 hours to retrieve the vehicle, it broke down AGAIN just 30 miles down the road-leaving us stranded on the side of the interstate. The vehicle was towed back to Jim Taylor. After two 6-hour round trips, two failed service visits, and nearly $9,400 later, the car still wasn't fixed as we barely made it home the second time. I took it to my local dealership, where it was properly diagnosed and repaired for only $435. What makes this even worse is that our hometown Chevrolet dealership reached out to Jim Taylor multiple times, providing receipts and clear documentation of the new transmission and certified work already completed- not understanding why they missed/refused to acknowledge the diagnostic history report that every service department is to run that shows all previous work already been done at other Chevrolet dealerships. Our dealership was completely appalled on Jim Taylor's service team refusing to process the repairs under the GM warranty, and their own manager admitted they "don't make as much money on warranty work." Also, Jim Taylor Chevrolet service clerk stated to our hometown dealership that she didn't know to click on the diagnostic that stated transmission work previously done. I don't know if this is their game of playing ignorant or just completely desperate to rip people off. The fact that they lied and said we did not tell them and then ignoring the diagnostic report. We contacted the owner of the dealership directly-no response. Instead, we were met with employees who responded with lies and continued to dodge responsibility. Their behavior was not only unprofessional, but downright unethical. I deeply regret ever trusting them with my vehicle and let alone giving them my business by purchasing a vehicle from them. I deeply feel sorry for the community of Rayville for the manipulative frauds at their Chevrolet dealership, as I didn't either until having to take it to another Chevrolet dealership. I would seriously consider investigating any work done at their dealership.

I asked the car salesperson to confirm because I would be traveling 2 hours to pick up the car and had to leave work early and pay for child care. She assured me yes. When I got there they first pulled out the wrong car for me which is the least of my concerns. Then they told me they were "really busy" and had numerous customers to attend to so I waited and waited. Finally she sat down with me to complete the sale and paperwork. At this point I saw the numbers were much higher than what we had agreed to over the phone both through text and verbal conversations. The manager came over and said he thought my offer of "X" plus trade in meant that I would give him my offer and the amount of my trade in! Why would I pay you for my own car that I'm trading in?! Obviously this was some ridiculous sales tactic and I left without a car and with a bill for gas there and a babysitting fee. Do not recommend!!!

Great experience all around! To me, the service department deserves a raving review. Clay, the…read moreservice manager, is always willing to help and easy to talk to, and always available to talk to when I ask for him. The girls out front are also great. Cannon has fixed my F150 multiple times in a timely manner and has had no further issues. I would recommend this service department over all others in Vicksburg. The only place in town that I would let work on mine or my wife's car!

I heard a noise after they…read moreworked on my brakes and called and returned to their service dept. .They said I needed front wheel bearings that is what is causing the noise. They put in new wheel bearings. I was still hearing the noise while driving home. I called them and took my car back . The mechanic said, I needed to have my back brakes done. I told them they had already done my back brakes ,and that didn't make sense the noise was always coming from the front of the car, after they did my front brakes in October of last year. A master tech was there one day and said he would find out what was wrong. I asked him to please ride around with me . He said it sounded like my brakes. He took all 4 tires off of my car and said the rotors had to be replaced on the front of my car. I had been driving my car since October thinking my brakes were done properly . They didn't smooth them out when they did my brakes which caused damage to my rotors. I had my front brakes done before they ever made any noise or a lot of wear on them. The Tech told me if I let him put new rotors in that it would take care of my noise. It did. I spent money on wheel bearings that I didn't need. He was about to do another job on back brakes not knowing they had been done recently by them. I had to make several unnecessary trips to the service department its a 2 hour drive one way for me. I Paid a lot of money for work and parts that were not in need of repairs. The shop foreman never once came out to discuss the matter with me during any of my trips to the service department. The girl working the service department computer said she was told by him that she had to be the go between us. She apologized while he hid out . Apparently he hasn't enough training to run a shop , or even worse he doesn't care about his customers. Service means so much when you pay so much for a car. I will never step another foot in their door . They ripped my off. An expensive lesson learned.
