Instead we were greeted by Saundra whom not only smiled but warmly conversed with us. It was not forced but felt genuinely sincere. In a current world of this geo political climate, to have someone be so kind to out minority family just made our night. We went in to buy snacks and all left smiling, warm hearted and happy. God bless you Saundra (and your mom whom you spoke about at check out as well). The world needs people like you and you deserve all the absolute best. She tried to squish the brittle cookies and multiple large packages of chips into a tiny paper bag half the size of my puchased items (there were clearly bigger regular-sized bags available right next to her). But unfortunately the feel and stability of the Austin sofa I got delivered from here was not the same quality as the one in show room. The foam feels light and cheap. This has only one crosswire compared to multiple in other sofas I've owned. Its lacking center support legs which is not uncommon for sofas. But one feels unbalanced if if you sightly off the middle of the seat. It sinks in but not evenly and back protrudes out causing back pain over longer period of sitting. Springs are lose and squeaky within a year.

I was helping my mom shop for a rectangular solid wood table with simple wooden chairs (no fabric seats), which was surprisingly hard to find in other furniture stores. Heather was quick to greet us and advise us on different options, but also gave us plenty of time and space to look around. Other stores were so pushy and focused on making a sale, but Heather felt like a friend who's goal was to share her knowledge about the different styles and materials to make sure you find your dream set. She helped us find a beautiful dining set that was the perfect color, material, style, and price! The delivery cost was one of the cheapest ($75) and they were the only store who had an option to take away your old table (for another $75 which is a steal considering other options would cost over $100 and would require coordinating with another company). Heather even asked us what type of flooring we had, so they could install the appropriate pads or feet on the table. We bought the table on Dec 20, and were about to get the table on Dec 27! Other stores wouldn't be able to deliver until January and it was the holidays. We were given a two-hour window for the delivery, and the delivery men arrived at the very beginning of the time window! Despite needing to take away our large expandable table with nine chairs through a narrow hallway before dropping off the new set, they were in and out in only about 30 mins. They also leveled the table and showed us how in case we moved the table and needed to level it again. Everyone we interacted with at California Dining and Bar Stools were phenomenal. I honestly couldn't have asked for better selection or customer service! We went to a lot of other furniture stores beforehand, and they were by far the best. We had looked around online so had a decent idea of what we were looking for and what we didn't want (teak, for example). Annie and Maia were both very helpful -- letting us casually browse the selection outdoors and indoors, answering questions whenever we asked, and even looking up colors, styles, and delivery times for different configurations. Of course, what we thought we wanted wasn't what we bought -- glad we went to an in-person showroom. In under an hour, we settled on a table/chairs with expected delivery in 1 week (much less than we had thought). The price was fair -- more than Costco but less than other high end places. The furniture arrived when promised and setup happened quickly. They take all of the packaging away with them. Unfortunately, we noticed two small imperfections -- nothing structural but we expected pristine furniture for the price. Annie took care of it for us with no hesitation and four weeks later we had replacements. We've had the furniture for a few months now and are happy with our decision. Terra Mountain View is a recommended place for outdoor furniture.
