Nick is great and will shoot you straight on what products would be best for your home but we were…read moresuper unimpressed and a bit disgusted with the install crew. Their work was sloppy in places. They left bubbles in several bedrooms, saying we needed to put the baseboards on to fix it. (You don't need the baseboards on.) Left doors off hinges and the ones that were put back on had fingerprints all over. They also decided to go ahead and install waterfall type carpet on the stairs without discussing this with us when we had requested a nose on them. Work on the stairs overall was sloppy and not tight in places. Heard the guy say he had never done stairs before. In the process they also banged up the brand new skirtboards we had put in the day before. We have three sets of stairs in our house mind you and this happened on all of them. Soooo pretty unhappy about that. To be fair the store did send their head of installation to come out the next day and fix some of the issues but they couldn't fix the stairs. Really wish this would have been communicated before. So if you buy from here I hope you get a better install crew than we did.

Someone from the warehouse removed the old carpet and pad a couple of weeks before the installation date. My new carpet looks great and I will definitely buy from them again.

Disturbed by neg comments: Employer stated "This job is beneath me!" Not detail oriented and cuts corners. Contractor in regards to unlevel floor patch with 1/2 gaps on three sides:" I'm putting my foot down! I refuse to sand & level it! It will be covered by carpet (trim or shingles) so doesn't matter! If we wanted it to be level, we should have used a different material!" Eventually calked and sanded to appease. Afraid roof done same way (with large gaps). Two dust barriers in place only four of the eleven days needed. As a result, a thick layer of dust covered everything in the house! Husband removed carpet staples as employee failed to do so. Also removed wood burning stove from the basement and gave away; cleaned up after employees daily. Contractor refused to compensate. In regard to removing the wood burning stove ourselves, contractor stated:" That's money out of my own pocket! I was going to recycle it!" Bid excluded basic items such as handrail brackets, doorknobs, electrical hardware, light fixtures, the painting of four door jams plus two skirtboards, inside closet finishes, wall corner trim, etc. In addition, we had to purchase own carpet as contractor did not include this in his either. Ultimately, we ended up paying an increased contractor fee.

They were had to spend a day grinding it to make it level. The employee worked clean as possible and the downstairs clean when they were done. There price was very fair especially since there was extra work involved. I would highly recommend them for any remodel job you might have
