I called the vet roughly 3 times the next day. Dr. Rivers did not return any of my phone calls. I took her back to the vet the next day. When I picked her up, Dr.Rivers said that she was eating,drinking and doing better. I get her home and she wasn't eating or drinking. I reached out to Dr.Rivers again, multiple times and she didn't return my calls again. The next day still no change in my bunny 's status and I was told by the receptionist (at the vet) that Dr.Rivers is busy with emergencies. At 5:15 p.m. Dr. Rivers calls me. She was confrontational and argumentative with me. She accused me of lying about my rabbit not eating or drinking, that once my pet left her office then my pets health was no longer her concern. Then, she accused me of mistreating my pet and not taking proper care of her. She literally didn't care about my animal. The next morning I woke up and my rabbit had died. I reached out to Dr.Hamlin, who owns the vet clinic, to talk about the interaction I had with his worker (Dr.Rivers). I wasn't looking for anything, I just wanted to communicate my experience to him. This has not been a good experience.

Prices for anything vet related are extremely expensive though, and it's true for Animal Medical Center. Just yearly shots are $100+ per animal. We had to get a second opinion on a knee situation with one of our dogs a few years ago, and I'm so glad we did because AMC recommended surgery when the surgical vet in Tulsa said it would heal without surgery. Like any medical care, you just have to take the good with the bad. But overall, I'm grateful for this vet.

We knew we were about to lose every one of them. I had never been around cows before (my husband was out of town) and 6 of our bottle calves were very very sick. Dr Voss took time to show me how to put a tube down their throat, how to flip them over and what to look for if they got worse. I lost one, but was able to save the rest. If he hadn't been there and took the time to show me what to do, I would have lost them all. I was really expecting a very large bill, but it was very reasonable, especially for how long he was there working with me. He has since seen our dogs, cats and other cows. He takes phone calls after hours and tries to help whenever he can. I have seen other animals from our neighborhood that he has saved from rattlesnake bites and other nasty things. Would highly recommend him.

This review is long overdue, but after everything he has done for our dog, Xenon, it deserves to be shared. Xenon went through an incredibly critical time after suffering an obstruction, requiring three surgeries within just 16 days--all while she was pregnant. It was one of the most stressful and uncertain situations we have ever faced. Through every single moment, Dr. Beck showed not only exceptional skill, but unwavering dedication and compassion. He came in for emergency visits when she needed him most, without hesitation. Because of his expertise and quick action, he was able to save not only Xenon, but most of her puppies as well.
