Lauren at Walks 'n' Wags was an absolute blessing during our stay in Mammoth Lakes! While we spent our days hiking breathtaking trails, exploring Devils Postpile, Rainbow Falls, June Lake, and Mammoth's beautiful lakes, we had complete peace of mind knowing our miniature poodles, Rafi (6) and Rocki (5), were having adventures of their own. Lauren didn't just "watch" our dogs--she gave them a vacation to remember. She took them on wonderful walks, kept them active, engaged, and happy, and treated them with genuine love and care. We especially appreciated the photo updates, which reassured us that our boys were having as much fun as we were. Rafi and Rocki came back each day happy, well-exercised, and content. Lauren, I don't even know where to start! She was so wonderful with our 10 year old golden. She took our pup on a few adventures throughout the day, and sent us photos and communication throughout the day. Lauren only takes in a small group of pups per day so she can put all her focus on the few pups she has with her that day, and I appreciate that so much, because our golden got so much attention from Lauren, and got to enjoy playtime with the other pups without it being too overwhelming with too many dogs. We have several other trips planned for this season, and Ive already booked days with Lauren so our pup can enjoy her time in Mammoth while our family is out on the slopes. Lauren is amazing for many reasons! She is easy to communicate with and gives detailed text updates and pictures while caring for your dog. She is dependable and trustworthy, gives her undivided attention to those in her care, and has a genuine love for dogs. Lauren has been caring for our rescue dog, Luna, for several years when we ski at Mammoth. Luna has some special needs and significant anxiety, which requires extra patience and TLC. Where do I start? Just hire Lauren! First of all, Lauren made us feel like our dogs were the center of the universe. She gave them all her attention and made sure they were safe at all times. Second of all, she took photos and shared updates with us regularly so we knew the dogs were having fun. Third, our pitbulls are not the easiest of dogs, we admit that. They are older now and take extra care. They are also dog reactive and very protective but that didn't phase Lauren, she loves pit bulls. We use Walks 'n' Wags EVERY time we visit Mammoth with our dog! It is so nice to have trustworthy dog care and know that he is going to be well taken care of, loved for, and exercised while we are out skiing, biking or climbing for the whole day. I was privileged enough to get my Kodi bear from Lauren, who helped me foster him for several months. Lauren has a love for all dogs, and it shows that Kodi loves his time while out adventuring alone or with the pack. We brought our sweet old Delcie to Mammoth Lake last year and again this year. Delcie was a bit too old to follow us on our adventures so we asked Lauren to take care of her during this time. She only takes a few dogs at once so that she can adapt to each of their needs. Lauren was great with Delcie! She checked in a lot with us and was easy to communicate with. We love taking our Golden Doodle Twila to the mountains and she loves adventure, but she's not an avid skier so finding Lauren to care for her while we were on the slopes was a treasure.
