Powder chasing obsessive dog dads timed a storm perfectly. Dilemma! How to enjoy the POW with our attention-indulged golden princess all alone in the condo? Lauren was our winning lotto ticket! She was amazing with our girl and provided so much peace of mind while we got to shred. We received lots of pictures and updates and all communication was easy, as were drop offs and pick ups. Most importantly, our girl loved Lauren and interacted well with other carefully considered playmates. Lauren has a great safety leash protocol and confident control. Definitely our go-to. We highly recommend!

Lulu did a wonderful job with our puppy, and he was overjoyed to spend his time with her! We reached out to her just a couple of days before we needed to book her and were extremely lucky to have found an availability in her schedule on such short notice. The best part was that she was watching another dog that day who was the exact age as ours! They went on beautiful hikes together and Lulu kept me updated throughout the evening with gorgeous pics of their adventures. It was everything I had hoped for and then some for our puppy. I know he had a fabulous time and my boyfriend and I were happy to have the opportunity to play a round of golf and go to a nice restaurant while we were in town with him. I 10/10 recommend Walks 'n' Wags if you are looking for a responsible, caring, enjoyable daycare for your pup!

Lulu did a wonderful job with our puppy, and he was overjoyed to spend his time with her! We reached out to her just a couple of days before we needed to book her and were extremely lucky to have found an availability in her schedule on such short notice. The best part was that she was watching another dog that day who was the exact age as ours! They went on beautiful hikes together and Lulu kept me updated throughout the evening with gorgeous pics of their adventures. It was everything I had hoped for and then some for our puppy. I know he had a fabulous time and my boyfriend and I were happy to have the opportunity to play a round of golf and go to a nice restaurant while we were in town with him. Highly recommend Lauren if you are looking for a dog sitter! We were looking for a local dog sitter while we went into Yosemite for the day and we were so lucky to find her last minute. I am super picky about who watches our husky show pup because he can be quite anxious but he did great with Lauren. She previously worked with rescues so she has lots of experience with dogs and knows how to make them feel comfortable. She was so professional, caring and treated our dog like he was her own. I cannot recommend Lauren highly enough as a dog sitter in Mammoth Lakes! As a dog sitter myself, I'm incredibly picky about who I trust with my dogs, and I am also what you might call a "helicopter mom" when it comes to them. But with Lauren, I know my dogs are in the best hands possible. She treats them with the same care and attention that I would--it's like they're staying with family. Her genuine love for animals is evident, and she goes above and beyond to make sure they're comfortable, happy, and well-cared for. Definitely my favorite dog sitter/boarder in the Mammoth area. She's very conscientious and caring and loves and knows dogs. Not surprising that she's the only one in Mammoth my dogs have emotionally bonded with. Especially love how she goes out her of way to make sure my dogs get their steps in. read more

i highly, HIGHLY recommend lauren if you are recreating in the mammoth lakes/bishop area. she takes a lot of care to group dogs together based on size and/or temperament, which also allows her to give more attention to each dog in her care. this was especially important for me to feel good about leaving my pup with her, as he is very nervous around people he doesn't know. he immediately warmed up to her, which made me feel confident that he was in good hands. i would not feel comfortable if my pup were in a large group of dogs running amuck with little oversight/attention. she is very thorough in getting all the information she needs about your pup, and takes lots of photos/videos of them while they are on adventures. i felt very comfortable leaving my fur baby with her, knowing he'd be safe, while hiking and having lots of fun with her! read more

We come to Mammoth often and love bringing our dog but it limits some of our activities. This time we decided to find a sitter and am so glad we found Lauren. From the detailed questions she asked at the start, we knew we were in good hands with someone who cared and had a good understanding of dogs. Lauren kept us updated and sent the cutest pictures. My dog who tends to be nervous and anxious with new people warmed quickly. When we arrived on the second day for drop off, my pup jumped out the car and ran straight to Lauren, tail wagging, which continued to reassure me of the great care she provided. The only part he couldn't complete was staying alone for 3 minutes with the evaluator--which, from my understanding, can be waived since he's my service dog. Then she claimed he failed three portions, which was simply not true. I was so upset I asked her to redo the test. She ran through everything on camera again, and he did great. Then she brought out another dog and started clicking while bringing it over--something no trainer should do. My dog gave a subtle growl but stayed in place. She jumped on that, said he failed, refused to continue the evaluation, and tried to push me into training with her. What a crook. If you use her, I promise issues will come up eventually. I paid $75 for that evaluation, and my dog passed the test with flying colors. WHAT A CROOK! FKIN SCAMMER. I thought I replied to her comment, but I sent her a message directly, so I am sharing with you what I said to her. Please work to uphold the integrity of the business: She contradicted herself, calling my dog sweet while claiming "aggression" was the issue. He passed every requirement except the 3-minute stay, which she refused to complete. Yes, he whined, but the entire interaction felt off from the start. Thank you for the refund, but it was well deserved. The whole process was shady--you were clearly ready to fail him. Completely inappropriate.

Lauren, I don't even know where to start! She was so wonderful with our 10 year old golden. She took our pup on a few adventures throughout the day, and sent us photos and communication throughout the day. Lauren only takes in a small group of pups per day so she can put all her focus on the few pups she has with her that day, and I appreciate that so much, because our golden got so much attention from Lauren, and got to enjoy playtime with the other pups without it being too overwhelming with too many dogs. We have several other trips planned for this season, and Ive already booked days with Lauren so our pup can enjoy her time in Mammoth while our family is out on the slopes. Lauren is amazing for many reasons! She is easy to communicate with and gives detailed text updates and pictures while caring for your dog. She is dependable and trustworthy, gives her undivided attention to those in her care, and has a genuine love for dogs. Lauren has been caring for our rescue dog, Luna, for several years when we ski at Mammoth. Luna has some special needs and significant anxiety, which requires extra patience and TLC. Where do I start? Just hire Lauren! First of all, Lauren made us feel like our dogs were the center of the universe. She gave them all her attention and made sure they were safe at all times. Second of all, she took photos and shared updates with us regularly so we knew the dogs were having fun. Third, our pitbulls are not the easiest of dogs, we admit that. They are older now and take extra care. They are also dog reactive and very protective but that didn't phase Lauren, she loves pit bulls. Our dogs are great at reading people and they knew right away they liked her. We highly recommend Walk N Wags for the best attention and adventures, your dogs will thank you! read more

It is so nice to have trustworthy dog care and know that he is going to be well taken care of, loved for, and exercised while we are out skiing, biking or climbing for the whole day. I was privileged enough to get my Kodi bear from Lauren, who helped me foster him for several months.
